Hi Guys,

This was a genuine email from us containing a valid coupon code.

The problem here is that it was the seventh free chip darkpixie had claimed on non depositing accounts with Aladdins Gold so I am afraid we couldnt pay the win.

Kind Regards
Tom

OK, to clear the air.

First of all IF I had multiple accounts it would not have been intentional. I sign up at a lot of casinos to try them out, so many in fact that in hindsight I suppose a spreadsheet tracking them all may have been prudent. But who does that?
Second of all. I also don't keep track of where I have deposited and how much.

Third of all, when I receive a DIRECT mailing from a casino I ASSUME that they have done their homework already that I would be ELIGIBLE for the free chip they are offering and so I use them! Who doesn't use free money when it comes their way? If I had truly used 7 free chips at ALADDINS (which if this IS the case it was again not intentional) Why did they keep emailing me them when I was not eligible to claim any winnings on them?

Lastly, I do not go around opening multiple accounts at accredited casinos and claim free chips on them in an effort to defraud anyone. That is retarded.

I also keep a spreadsheet of accounts I have created. I also keep another spreadsheet of total deposits and total withdrawals at each casino. I don't consider this "anal" at all. I consider a list of accounts ESSENTIAL, and a lost of overall deposits & withdrawals "very useful" in seeing how much I have LOST overall in the years I have been playing, and WHERE I have lost, and WHERE I have won.

Anyone who "tries out" numerous casinos really SHOULD be keeping some record of those they have tried, since this is a valuable aid to preventing the unintentional duplication of accounts, which most casinos consider "abuse".

Despite not keepong records, it is STILL pretty hard to believe that your memory was so bad that you created SEVEN accounts at Alladin's Gold in such a short space of time. THIS is why you are under attack from the forum members.

How many accounts at Alladin's Gold do you have altogether in your household? Tom says 7, can you refute this?

I missed that. She had multiple accounts?I thought Tom said she claimed 7 freebees in a row, did not see the part about multi accounts.

The use of the plural "accounts" in Toms reply certainly gives the impression that this was 7 different accounts, rather than 7 free chips on ONE account.

The email is pretty clear that this is an offer only to be used ONCE, and on a NEW account only. An account is no longer "new" once there has been any activity on it, so a PREVIOUS free chip would automatically EXCLUDE this "new player" free chip from being available.

If the OP only has ONE account, then she has done nothing wrong. TWO or more though, and she has done EVERYTHING wrong unless she can show that on the balance of probabilities the duplicate accounts were not opened by herself. This means finding an innocent explanation for Tom's records that shows she has had 7 goes at a "new player free chip" at Alladin's Gold.

I hope Tom can come back and clear this up. I would hate for everyone to blame this person for multiple accounts, if that isn't the case.

Either way, the code was meant for a new player, but if she is not eligible for it, why send it to her in the first place?

+ the wording is 'we haven't seen you in awhile, here's a free chip to use at another one of our casinos!!!' who would even think that they CANT use it? Or when they DO use it, their winnings will be denied? Let's face facts - unless the OP uses multiple email addresses for casino accounts, CWC would have known full well that they already had an account at that particular casino, and therefore, would not have been eligible for that free chip.

Keep in mind that CWC was the subject of the whole "we'll list our bonus codes on the website for EVERYONE TO SEE, but yet if you're not in the correct PLAYER GROUP, you won't be able to use them" fiasco last year (or was it the year before? I forget.)

Also, Tom states that multiple free chips were used in a row - I'm too tired to look, but is there a particular term on their websites saying that claiming free chips in a row like that are against the rules? Either way, this is definitely not behavior we should accept from an accredited casino. They sent the email out, therefore, they should honor it and any winnings associated from it.

We have to pay for our mistakes, so shouldn't casinos have to, as well?

Then 1st why send her the email? and 2nd why was she able to claim it?

Casinos really should stop mailing out coupons to players and allowing them to claim it, if they are basically not eligible!. Also by non depositing ACCOUNTS your saying the op has more than 1?

BTW, this is not a shot at you Clubworld Just always wondered why these things are not stopped at the back end? Posts like this would not exist!

Cheers
Matt

Everyone, I'd suggest to quit saying that the OP has multiple accounts. After reading Tom's post a few times, the way I see it is that "Non-Depositing accounts" means "non-depositing accounts within the CWC casino group," and not to mean "multiple accounts at that particular casino."

I'm sure that if the OP had multiple accounts at any casino in the CWC group, Tom would have came right out and said just that.

note from above post:

4. Only one free bonus can be claimed on any account before the first deposit is completed. If an account is funded entirely with a free bonus, in addition to our other requirements, an approved deposit is necessary to validate the account before any withdrawals will be processed.

At no point does it say that you have to deposit inbetween, or after, claiming a set number of free chips. The only stipulation that I see is that the OP needs to make a deposit in order to claim their winnings.
