Is there any information about Cleo's Vip Room?

I got two CDs in the mail today and it indicates good for USA.

Return address is from Miami Beach Florida.

I don't see who sponsors them.

Letter is signed by Claudia Johnson, Virtual Spree Marketing.

I never heard of them and I don't see them in Casino Meister.

I believe this is some sort of "sweep-stake" operator, not a proper casino.
They claim to be 100% legal in the USA - so that tells you they are definitely not a casino as we would think of it.

They are a "sister" to a proper casino... whose name slips my mind at the moment!
I think they probably are safe enough to try, but make sure you read ALL their T&Cs and be careful as you go.

For those of us with the semi-limited options in the US Cleo is a nice alternative. Slots found there are very similar to what you see in a B&M casino.

I have never cashed out a win in the few times there, but have redeemed points for some decent small jewelry items.

This is the casino I won 2 grand at trying them out. When I went to cash out they wanted me to sign a W2 form with my social security number. When I was done laughing i said FU close my account. Can you imagine the damage this place could do with a signed tax form as well as SS numbers......STAY AWAY is my advice.

I took a look at this casino years ago when they first came out and noticed how they blatantly ripped off and cloned major slot manufactures games and decided this wasn't a joint I'd really trust. I'd avoid them and like someone posted asking for your full SS# I would run to. If this was a regulated casino run by the lottery or state I would understand the need for it but I doubt cleo's room is reporting to the IRS your winnings.

I can't believe I wrote this post then a year later for some unknown reason out of the blue I got bored and I gave them a chance with a $20 deposit. It must have been on some other forums I read that they had been getting their act together.

My experience:

Late November 2014, I made a minimum $20 deposit + 400% match bonus. I made myself aware of the terms. 30x wagering and 10% max bet rule but it counted both the deposit and bonus so it gave me $10 max bet. I was fine with that as I never usually get close to that threshold anyways when playing slots. I was down to like $30 of my balance and started to get some good hits and found my balance soar to close to 1k. I got in touch with the live support to find out how much wagering I had left and started playing a more careful style to lock up a good win. I believe when I felt I made wagering I was close to $800-900 and I went to the cashier however there isn't a cashout button like other sites. I went back to live support and was told there was an error or something and Monday morning they would look into it. I was a bit peeved so I started playing more recklessly, betting bigger on slots, playing 4-5 spots on blackjack at 50-$100 a hand and had my balance up to a bit over 5k. I must have felt this was a rogue operation and all and was just going to bust my account and chalk up the $20 loss and learn a lesson. However, I was playing some some slots that Monday morning and finally a message popped up on the screen that the promotion was over and I had won over 4k. Ok, that was odd I have never seen anything like that before but then again they technically claim they aren't a casino (yeah right) but a sweepstakes. I received emails congratulating the win and to start submitting paperwork and docs. As others have said I was hesitant to provide my SSN but with a win this large I was going to have to if I wanted to get paid.

I submitted everything they wanted and now the waiting game began. Approx. Nov 25 I got email approving and they say it can take up to 15 bus. days to get paid. Around Mid Dec. I got a hold of the Cleos rep to ask about my withdrawl and was informed of the dreaded processor delay. Their excuse was the check printer was broken. I had a good laugh about that but they said they had a great alternative way to get a payment if I held a bank account from their list. I didn't but I went ahead and opened one up at Wells Fargo and gave them the information they needed and the next morning a cash deposit was made at a Miami, Florida branch into my account. The best part it was just before Christmas so that was nice. Per their terms payments are to be made every 7 days if you win a larger amount. I kept inquiring about the payment and was told to be patient they were still dealing with processor issues. Finally, late January I received my final payout of over 2k from them and it came from a processor I've seen both Inet, and Bovada use out of Champaign, NY. I'm not sure what to make of it perhaps they truly were dealing with processor issues or they were stalling as they didn't have the funds and had to wait for more deposits to come in or whatever but the end result was I was paid the entire amount and overall I had a satisfying experience. After all, I only put in $20 and to win several thousand and not get any hassle over breaking bonus terms or anything like that and receive payment.

I won't play there again because I feel it was sketchy the way the "sweepstakes" works. Besides the fact it was supposed to end when I met wagering and it didn't and support didn't have a good reason and I had to wait til Monday morning. As a result I did win significantly more than I probably should have and they didn't use some FU clause to take back money but rather paid it all out. Their payouts can be slow, however it was really nice the rep found a great alternative by making a cash deposit directly into my bank account. Also another reason I wouldn't play there again is there is no way not to take a bonus and play with straight cash. You are always tied to wagering. If anyone plays there though it seems you will get paid if you do win it just may take some time. I haven't found any instances online where someone won at Cleos VIP room and didn't get paid their winnings.
