If Golden Arch gave you an organiser, how about asking Gold VIP Club for the mousemat, after all, it was probably deleting their spam that wore out the old one:p

I luv presents

I started gambling online last November. I had a couple of small match bonus offers last year, but nothing as an outright gift. People are almost afraid to use the word "Christmas" but "holiday bonus" or "new year bonus" (pretty neutral) would be most welcome.

Let's keep each other informed as to what we find in our stockings.

OMG, last year I received 3 HUGE baskets from 3 different casinos, 2 were Spa baskets, slippers, body scrubs, etc., one was fruit and candy, I thought I was gonna die, I had no idea I was getting them and when they were deliverd my husband was home, he asked me why they sent them, I told him it was because I just signed up with these new casinos and it was a welcome gift, now if he wasn't home, I would have opened them up, keeped all the goods and tossed the baskets so fast,
Talk about feeling free, ahhhh, the stress of it all :)

Well Luigi, hope they send you some other stuff to compensate you for your losses. You have been so strong, I doubt that any soap would tempt you back to your old ways.

It is terrible to live with lies with your spouse. You have made the right choice for you, and I am glad you have found help here in this board. Happy Holidays.

Intercasino called me this week to verify my postal address - they say they plan on sending me Xmas gift. I was tempted to say I'd prefer some cash/casino chips instead of gifts, but bit my tongue just in time. I am curious to see what kind of gift they would think appropriate. And if it has any relation to proportion of losses/winnings...

I also wonder if Enzo would send me as much as a postcard :p

It sure is terrible, that's the one thing I still feel guilty about
Happy Holidays to you too :)

I don't want to be too invasive, and don't answer if you don't feel comfortable everyone....

How much money does someone have to spend to get gifts sent to their home?

I remember spending a lot of money at accredited casinos and only offered like a $10 bonus.

Also, when you get gifts at home, do you also get casino bonuses?

The short and simple answer is usually in the range of more than $5000 and up annually but there are also several other factors involved in weighing the criteria of who receives a Christmas Gift or for that matter a gift period, sometimes it will come to the Marketing Directors attention that the casino see's a potential or future VIP Player or High Roller based on play style and not necessarily the dollar amount of deposits, it can also be the frequency of deposits !!

A well managed casino would base the decision on LOYALTY and DEPOSITS, rather than how lucky you were. They would also look at whether you ONLY deposited for big bonuses, or whether you sometimes deposited WITHOUT bonuses.
The holiday gift would be a way of thanking you for your custom other than a cash bonus. Free chips are so common that it is hard to make them "special". A bonus can be gone in a day, but a gift will linger for quite a while. Often, the gifts carry branding, and usually this is for the casino or group that sent it - this is an ulterior motive, free advertising, just like the free carrier bags you get from Tesco, with TESCO written all over them.

I had a picnic basket from JF, and it had their "VIP Lounge" logo on it. My Mum had me remove it though, otherwise she would not eat from it's plates:D

I have rucksacks from two palace group casinos, with the name of the casino printed on the back.

By far the biggest gift was a weekend in Vegas from Casino Action (R.I.P) - no WONDER I am annoyed at the incompetence that lead to their demise, I was looking forward to the next Platinum VIP event:mad:

Gifts from Bricks and Mortars

Hi. I get gifts from all the B&M's I play at. Rama and Casino de LacLeamy send me a invite to come pick up my gift, and I've received a very nice watch, calendars, glasses, travel bags and bath baskets and clothing. The OLG (Ontario Lottery and Gaming) sends a coupon for free chips.

Of course, all of these require a visit in person. They know you will play some during your visit.

I was a high roller, played at those casinos for about a year, for what I played I should have opened my door a seen a car with a BIG red ribbon wrapped around it.. I guess the spa baskets were a way of making me more relaxed as I played eating my candy..oh the regrets

I get a card with......

If you deposit.....

Where's the gift? I don't bet a lot but my year to date total of deposits at JF equals a used hyundai

Glad I got a yugo's worth of withdrawals.

Talk about how things come back to haunt ya, I got caught in my own lie, and how ironic that we've been talking about this..Today I received a package from Fed-Ex, of course I wasn't home and they came back around
4:00, just has my husband walked in the door, it was a Thanksgiving gift from the Lucky Nugget, (an apron, spoons, place mats, etc.), I haven't played at that casino for over a year, now my husband thinks I just opened up another casino account..THANK GOD, we've been talking about this, I just showed him
my last few comments on here..Only me,

Last year Cake Poker sent me an actual personalized cake. It wasn't bad but tbh a more durable good would have been better. Full Tilt sent me a durable good for xmas though. A Full Tilt trash can. Yes, a poker room I have done over $50,000 in rake lifetime sent me a trash can for xmas. Is that like getting your wife a car battery or windshield wipers for xmas?

Why not just get her a vacuum cleaner?
