Chopley's grand Netent adventure at Mr Green

Now dipping under £600, I am simply gawping in amazement at this point that a low-medium variance slot can destroy £200 on 60p spins without dropping in a single free spins round, which could pay total crap anyway.

EDIT - Finally, finally dropped in a three scatters bonus round, paid 44x stake, balance at £619. I'm going to stick with Beach, this little octopus bastard has got to kick something back, especially since he's got eight legs.

Apologies ol' Chap but my prediction seems to be coming true - this is typical of my experiments on NetBent, the troughs always lower than the peaks are high. It seems like the RNG you are using when playing goes across all slots, and when it's time to 'come down' it will happen whichever game your choose. Maybe wrong, but it always seems like that....

Well indeed I have to say that Mr Octopus is on a scary rampage, balance back up at the £600 mark but was down at £550 not so long ago.

Only 28% of the WR done at the moment and make no mistake, if I drop down to £500 in my balance then I'm getting my £250 deposit back out, because the down-swing from my peak at over £900 has been pretty damn scary

If I could hit £500 with maybe 50% of the WR done and with the slots rolling at least 'averagely' I'd probably stick with it, but Evolution and Beach have both been terrifying monsters this evening and I'm starting to feel very glad that Mr Green has a forfeit option, because I don't in the least bit fancy my chances of making WR on the current trajectory.

EDIT - He did (finally!) just knock out 144x stake on a bonus round, up over £650 now, given what Andy's said, I might withdraw if he tips me back over £700.

I've seen Beach listed as a medium-variance slot on a few occasions here on CM, but to me it's the absolutely most cruel slot Netent has ever released. No other slot has so many bad streaks and time between freespins as Beach has shown me (I play 100k+ spins at Netent every month).

I know I speak for everyone when I say we're really enjoying this.
I've missed the Chopley Challenges, and I know I'm not alone.
With that in mind, keep going Chopley (and yes this is an exception cos it's just so entertaining).
If you bust out you get another shot on me. It's a gamble for you of course but that's why we love it here!

Good luck!

Andy

Hear hear! All or bust. None of this cashing out at even malarkey YOU BIG GIRL! :D

Enjoying this mate - in fact like your A-Z challenge you conned me in to - if you carry on I'll match you. I can't do the new sub as I've played there for ages - but I'll come up with something suitably/equally daft.

(At higher stakes per spin though - YOU BIG GIRL :D )

Sorry chaps but I've wussed out and taken my £250 deposit back out and forfeited the bonus, as I was only 33% through the WR when I dropped back down to £500.

The worst of it was watching Beach demolish £300 on 60p spins, and whilst it did rally a little bit towards the end it was still pretty damn scary overall. (I'd be interested to see my overall stats for the session, but also specifically for Evolution and even more so Beach, because those two were nasty bastards today.)

Sometimes it's just a case of deciding it's time to escape with your pants intact and call it a day before the carnage sets in! :)

If Andy can sort out a similar bonus in the future though I'll doubtless be up for a rematch :D

Sorry to say 'I told you so' and I for one don't blame you for bottling it, as you were clearly on the 1000-cuts-to-bust cycle, plummeting toward the inevitable.
In fact I'd even say you were fortunate to make 3k spins before being able to stop at evens.
And I have to agree that f***ing irksome annoying pop-up 'I'm having fun carry on' needs a serious look at by Mr. Green, especially as it messes the whole session up by resetting your game, a strict no-no.
Thanks for the entertainment, I am going to attempt one similar at EuroSlots this weekend, but playing only MG games. I know they're not accredited here but the rep is active and we have testimony of quick pays and rapid rep response if need be.

I think Andy is offering you 'on him' a rematch, presumably he'll credit you a bonus-only 250 with the 35x WR, or is it another 250-match?

Happy trails Chopley..

Have to agree with this. The smaller the bet size, the more spins needed to complete the WR, the nearer to the TRTP you will get = a bust out situation.

Beach is a bitch - I got murdered last time I played it. This-evening, after reading this thread I put a couple of 100 spins through it - and it was awful again to start with - the Octo-Pussy only appeared about 3 times in my first 150 spins!
Fortunately I was saved by extreme good luck when I hit 4 scatters for 16 free-waves after increasing my bet - and managed to quit near-enough level.
What I can't work out, is why this slot with relatively low maximum line wins often behaves like a high variance slot...

I just read through the thread (eyes are a little stingy),but just think if you never got that very rare(on 99% Netent slots) 500x you would have been in deep dog poo very early into the WR.

I do like the Netent slots for gameplay and entertainment but I cant remember ever making a WR playing only Netent slots and I've tried many times.

In comparison to other software, I have made the WR on bonuses three times at Playtech and 5 times at MG in the past month. Tuesday night I took a £50 bonus at 32red (£1500 WR) and managed to cash out £300.

But to be fair there seems to be a trend of piss poor pay-table slots being released from all software providers. The wilds and scatters are now low paying symbols or non paying in some cases.

I think I'll ask CS for my play records from yesterday, it'd be interesting to see the trajectory of the session overall.

If it weren't for the absolute abomination of Beach I'd have pressed on when I dropped back down to £500 and seen if I could have made WR, maybe fire up the likes of Reel Steal/JATB/DoA on 50p stakes or thereabouts and hope for a nice kickback from a high variance slot, but I just didn't have it in me by that point. (I'd been slotting for about ten hours by then, but I could have carried on in that regard, however it was Beach and its APPALLING play that made me wave the white flag and say, 'Fuck it, you know what, I'll just get my deposit back' - plus the 60 minute nag screens were absolutely driving me to distraction since I'd seen about ten of them by then.)

Evolution had played poorly but it did finally kick back a chunk, and Wild Rockets was alright. Beach however was eye-wateringly bad, truly off the scale awful. I know from my previous encounters with it that it can go on nice streaks of 50-100x stake bonus rounds, but watching it take £200 on 60p spins without a single free waves round took the wind out of me somewhat - and you know when you just get that 'doom feeling' about a session, well I was starting to get that doom feeling pretty badly.

I stuck with it far longer than I should have done TBH, having convinced myself there had to be a reasonable rally on the cards - but no - I ended up losing £300 of my bankroll on 60p spins on what is ultimately a pretty low variance slot with nothing in the way of big pay potential.

So seeing my balance back down at £500, with just 33% of the WR done, and having THE BELLS OF DOOM ringing loudly in my head, well I hope you can forgive me chickening out and simply taking back my deposit :D

I wouldn't rule out a rematch at some point in the future though, and I'll get Sony Vegas Movie Studio reinstalled too (I've rebuilt my PC since the last YouTube channel) - maybe it's time to crack out the old camera again, because yesterday's session would have made a pretty good video I have to say :)

Booooooo!!!! :D

I was looking forward to the jubilations and or defenestrations this morning.

The scary is the fun bit.

No worries mate - I look forward to your next adventure hugely. If I get time, I'll try to think of something to do similar. I enjoyed the 32Red A-Z challenge in some weird way. Maybe every game from the bottom up across all software platforms at Mr Green. There's a LOT of games - but might be fun. I'll have a think.

Mind you - I'd have to play those MENTAL cartoon ones (like Whodunnit? etc) where you've no idea what the feature is or when it's coming. And you always seem to win 80p.

That's the thing I don't like about slots, times when you go 800+ spins without a bonus round and you think "No I'll just keep on going there must be something coming soon, there HAS to be", only for you to then get a bonus round and it pays something like 12 x stake.

That is the jist of slots though I guess.

:(

Worth noting that my withdrawal from Mr Green has been paid, so just over twelve hours, but considering I requested the withdrawal pretty late last night, having it in my Neteller account at 10:30am the next day is pretty good going :)

I do sometimes wonder why people voluntarily play at casinos with 24-48 hour pending periods these days....

Its also worse when you got a budget for the week and it comes just when your about to bust and you're praying for a decent hit to get you back in the game. But in typical fashion they just kick you when you're down.

Don't say that unless you mean it! Don't be a YouTube-tease.

I...NEED...MORE...CHOPLEY...GAMEPLAY
Andy, if you reading this, allow him to take this bonus again. Few reasons: a) he is one of the most well known slot players here, i am really read every post he made and i like what he read b) he play in your casino, this is promoting of course, why not? c) he play low betting, and the risk he destroy your casino with such bonus is really low(like to hit 5 wilds wildstorm on TS2).
Thanks Chopley, but we need more, more, more. Its not enough.

Thanks for the comments chaps :) I've reinstalled Sony Vegas Movie Studio and was pleasantly surprised that it activated alright with the licence key I used for it when I originally installed it (I was very much expecting it to do a computer says no on me). It's a proper copy bought from ebuyer but you know what it's like these days, THIS SOFTWARE HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN ACTIVATED YOU MUST BUY IT AGAIN and bollocks like that.

So for my next session I will grab my trusty old Canon camera (sorry the camera technology hasn't moved on from last time....) and see about knocking a video together :) (Doesn't necessarily have to me a mega-bonus session at Mr Green, the start of month VIP offers are coming up at 3Dice for example and they've got a few new slots on the books since I closed my original YouTube channel down, so I'll play it by ear.)

I must warn you in advance however that it may very well be a sober session, I'm doing a lot more on-call 24/7 work these days which means I can get called at any time of day or night, weekends and holidays and everything else included, and when I do get called I need to either jump in the car or remote into work depending on the call (this is another reason that I really don't want casinos getting hold of my 'proper' mobile number, as it's not even like I can mute it when I go to bed) - and fucking around with critical databases with sysadmin privileges whilst a few sheets to the wind is never a good idea :D (Doesn't work too well with driving either.....)

I noticed that you tend to do that and I always wondered if it was a sequel of your AWP past? Sticking with a cold slot and moving to another slot when/if you hit something? Not a criticism BTW, just an observation.

It may partly be connected with being so used to playing compensated slots where future results ARE directly influenced by past events I suppose, but with Beach last night I was just like 'this is a low variance slot, I'm playing at smallish stakes, it's got to start evening out towards its T-RTP sooner or later' - and in all fairness it did have a little bit of a rally but then went on the rampage again and kicked me right back down to £500.

Logically it makes no difference if you stay on the same slot or move to another, all we really have control over is variance (in Netent terms the RTPs are all pretty much the same), so I figured I wasn't making the 'wrong' choice by sticking on Beach in that regard, but yeah at the £600 mark I really should have moved to a high variance slot like JATB/RS/DOA and hoped for a bit of luck on one of them.

Will be brilliant to see another video. Always looked forward to a Saturday morning to see if a new video was uploaded. If I remember correctly the last video was pretty dire, the worst selection of games I've ever seen, what was the name of the software?

Boss Media if I remember correctly. It sucked!
