My computer is dead so til I get a new one I have to make do with this loaner, so I downloaded a bunch of casinos that I had on my other computer. But my list of usernames is also on my dead computer so I have to contact the casinos to get my usernames. Most times it's no hassle and sometimes it's just funny.
So there are these two casinos that are related, let's call them ABC casino and XYZ casino. They're Playtech casinos so unless you're able to log in you can't access live chat, you can only use email. So I download them both, send emails to both and ask them to send me my username. In less than an hour I get a response from ABC casino, they send me my username, I log in and woohoo, they've given me $30 for my birthday, which I promptly lose.
Now it's 2 days later and I just realize that I haven't gotten a response back from XYZ casino, so I shoot them another mail, which bounces back. Twice. So "HMMMM..." I says to myself, "Now what?" then inspiration strikes and I figure that since ABC and XYZ are related, just perhaps maybe possibly the live chat at ABC casino - which I can now access - can help me.
So I get on live chat with (so help me it's true) BUBBLES! It went like this:
Bubbles: Welcome to ABC casino, how can I help?
Me: I'm not sure you can help, but I've had to reinstall ABC and XYZ casino on a different computer and had to contact support for my username. I received a response from ABC with my username, but no response from XYZ to my first mail and the other two mails I sent bounced back. I can't access live chat because I can't log in to the casino. I wondered if since you're related, I can get my XYZ username from you?
Bubbles: I'm sorry I can only deal with account information for ABC casino. I advice you to contact them via chat.
Me: uhhhh...ok but I can't access chat without being logged in.
Bubbles: Then you should send them an email.
Me: hmmm ok good idea, thanks.
In all fairness to Bubbles, I think she was pretty busy and probably didn't have time to read that whole first paragraph I wrote, but still it was funny. And she did actually answer my question, so it's not all bad.
