Has anyone experience in doing chargebacks to bogus online casinos. On the form do you say the service was misrepresented, or service was not as expective or defective?

Generally frowned upon on here, although there are a few, including me where if the casino is as dodgy as fuck and ripping players off, not honouring withdrawals etc etc, then go for it (has to be done via your bank, how I don't know)
Yeah they are operating under a fake license, i contacted Curacao licensing authority and they said they have no relations with the company and anything linking them to them is false and misleading.

If this is 100% accurate (not saying it is not) then I would not hesitate to charge back and lose no sleep over it either.

Not something I personally have ever done so my experience stops here but sharing opinion of others which I've read over the years ;)

Yea do it. Illegal plain and simple. Thats the risk they take with taking those payments
My bank is in the process of doing a fraud investigation, they are asking for all relevant information. Does any1 have any links to formal documents/letters saying unlicensed casinos are illegal etc.
Also the payments were made to a third party name 'Payment Wall' and then sent to Russia

The thing is, it's not illegal for them to take that payment. They're not in our jurisdiction.

There may be a contractual issue with their merchant, but there's no law broken.

They usually cover themselves in their T&Cs by putting the onus on you to ensure you can play on their site while staying compliant with UK law. All very messy, but essentially - you're dealing with scammers. It doesn't matter if you're right or wrong, they've already won the second you paid them.

Hey mate, thanks for the reply, it is illegal for them to take that payment as it is illegal for them to operate in our jurisdiction, its why 3rd party merchants are involved.

Are you saying there is no point in letting my bank do the fraud investigation or do the chargebacks?

The merchant isn't here either. It's a contract between the casino and the merchant.

I'm not saying don't try the chargeback, but don't be surprised if they dispute it. You may be successful, you may not. The scammers are vastly experienced.

Well that took all of about five seconds, come on mate.

Tbf thats not the only route you can take as there are banking regulations to consider that would get it back quicker. I’ve worked in transactional banking for 15 years so I know how it all works. Pm me if you need anything

But if casinos is not even near of UKGC regulations and UK jurisdiction does it help much to refer to UK/UKGC?
