Announcement Casumo removed from Accredited Section

The reasons are explained in this post: Casumo Affiliate Spam Problem.

Accredited Casinos need to ensure that their advertisers are kept in check. Deceptive advertising is not only unethical, but unlawful in most cases.

Once the spam complaints cease, the casino will be given a 60 day time out before being reconsidered.

Hopefully Casumo will now take the situation seriously and end this whole fake ads bs:thumbsup:

Really great decision. Casumo need to know the seriousness of this and not be so nonchalant about it.

If casumo needs a helping hand to guide them. Go visit the videoslots thread and how Dan reacts to spamming and what his actions are when affiliates try BS

Whilst it pains me to see such a respectable site as Cusumo removed from the accredited list, it's a harsh lesson that spam and misleading advertising cannot be tolerated.

I have my UKGC letter ready in registered post via my solicitor because I always thought that Brian was a bit dodgy

I see in the latest threads that there is some other crap that a forum member has received an email from a casumo affiliate about some player winning a massive progressive jackpot on Starburst!

How very fitting that it all occurs on the same day they lose their CM accredited status.

Added note: I am aware the thread I am referring to is a few weeks old, but its still very active, especially now!

Damn! I've been chasing that progressive on Starburst for months - I guess I've missed my chance now... :sob:
