Casinos possibly dumming down rtp and variances of games

First post ! :)

I have been playing for quite some time now, 3-4 years or so, and I have seen drastic decline in games.
We lost Netent in Canada, so there we lost quite a few good games.

I have also noticed some games just pay well in some casinos and the same games don't on other casinos.
I feel like certain casinos lower the rtp on games and perhaps play with their variances.

I'm not sure but just from playing for the past few months, I have just lost and lost. Hey, it might be just luck though.

What do you guys think ?

Which games are you referring to when you say "some games"? Play'n Go games might have different RTP because casino's can choose which version they offer. The RTP should be stated in the info file so you can compare.

There might be other providers offering this option but PnG is the only one I'm certain of.

I believe PlayNGo is one. The others can be Microgaming, Nextgen, etc

Break the Bank again used to be one of them, was getting regular small wins, but none for the past year now.
I know it's considered a very high variance game too. So that's another factor.

This has always been a thing, and still baffles me to this day. With some games the difference is pronounced, so much so that one may well wonder if they're running 5% lower than others :D

Too coincidental to be anything but, cloaked behind the 'You need a million spins to really compare'

Chances are that dead game that's been hammering you at that one site will keep doing it. So yes, I know what to expect from certain games at certain sites, short of mentioning the 'R' word

I'm not one to drag up the past, but back in the MG 'Download Casino' heyday I'd play Old King Cole a lot, because I thought it to be the greatest thing since sliced bread :eek2:

But at 32Red, oh no, couldn't have that, it would murder me with regularity. I've obviously not remembered and have moved on

Seems Microgaming has a day or 2 every month where every one of their slots you play pays a good deal but whatever you try the rest of the month just won't work. But especially games like BDBA, Six Acrobats, Fish Party,... are very high variance.

Nextgen is also known for their medium to high variance play and low variance pay except for a few games like 300 Shields and a little more recently Wonder Hounds.

BDBA, so many times I have had the chance of 4 rubys with a 5x wild , in free spins mode/or regular mode, however I was always off by ONE!
Bets would range from 2.25 -9 , and even 18.

If I remember correctly you can almost compare 300 shields with Dead or alive, there is nothing similar too those games correct ?

Well, my safe opinion is that the casinos have no power to influence RTG%. It's the game manufacturers who give out over-inflated numbers to the slots that never pan out. You're either way below it or way above it thanks to being the "lucky bloke of the day".

I don't feel like risking a ban for my truthful opinion.

Oh how I missed this! Yahooo, another "RIGGED" thread! :D

Games have the RTP set by the game provider and that's that. They are performing according to their maths model and RTP distribution, period!

Only your luck decides whether you play on a slot at the right time or not. Anything else is part of countless conspiracy theories (in which I took part as well a few times, e.g. still haven't hit the double 5OAK sheriff star on DOA at a 0.20 or 0.50 denomination despite millions of spins) that seem to amplify after extended periods of losses or bad luck.

Take this weekend's Freerolls on Wild Heist at VS. @goatwack has not managed to get once a "Bonus Card" in the bonus round, while I had it over a dozen times, and we probably played similar amounts of battles over the weekend. Pure co-incidence and luck, or lack of it, nothing else.

One thing is always sure, you can bet anything you want that while you seem to be constantly on the losing end, there will be others that are sitting with big smiles in front of their screens glaring at the mega win they just scored.
