I am so sick of these m*f* sending me their bullshit spam. This time it was for Vegas Palms I believe. There is no way to unsubscribe and I wish I could find a way to disable these a****. Anyone have any ideas????

Reporting them to spamcop.net and abuse.net is a good start. But you should also inform Vegas Palms of their spamming techniques, they are part of the FL group and eCOGRA certified and I guess would act on the complaint immediately.

I received an email yesterday that instructed me how to remove myself from their list. I followed the directions, and lo and behold, yet another ad in the inbox this morning. FL, you or your people do not know what they are doing, and thus you have permanently dropped off my radar screen. I'm sure you run a legitimate business, but if you can't even manage your bonus offers, I'd hate to see how you managed my deposits, cashouts etc. Good bye, and good riddance to you FL!!!

I got one from Villento today as well. I have personally unsubscribed to this list in the past rather than asking FL to do it - but obviously that didn't work. What's more, I never opened an account there.

Whatever FL is doing to resolve these issues, it isn't enough.

We have NO affiliation or association with Villento Las Vegas whatsoever.
We regard our player information as highly confidential and we do not, and will not, share our valuable player database with ANYONE. We have also NEVER done so in the past and we certainly do not plan on doing so now, or in the future. It is our commitment and responsibility.
Villento Las Vegas is a competitor casino.
Our players and their information are our most valuable assets and we protect this at all cost.

Any sensible person can see that we will not benefit from handing out confidential player information to a competitor.

If any person has received communication from Villento Las Vegas at an e-mail address that was only listed with us I would appreciate it if you could PM me and, preferably, send me a copy of the mail.

It is entirely possible that my email address was picked up elsewhere - but that is no excuse to send me emails - I am assuming that there has to be some connection between you and Villento - or could Villento be that partner/publisher you have referred to in the past?

I'm sick of it and I am so sour against the FL group that I will never even visit one of their sites again. If anyone has any info on how to stop this crap, please,please let me know! pacer, I would appreciate it if you could mail me these mails you received. I need to see where exactly they are coming from as it may be from a different source. I personally test the unsubscribe function at least once a week and I have had no problems unsubscribing from the publisher you claim these mails are from.

Also, you sent the PM to another person. I found out by chance that you mailed another FL representative who actually only deals with affiliate issues. It is as simple as just clicking on my link.

FL, I think you are missing the whole problem - it is not necessarily that the unsubscribe does not work - it probably works just fine - but the publisher will keep resubscribing you every few months without your permission.

You cannot test for that. This is what I have repeatedly complained about in the past - even if we DO unsubscribe, and the unsubscribe DOES work (hopefully without a double-opt-out) - you will get re-subscribed within a few months, just like clockwork.

In other words, this publisher pretends to be in compliance - then after a while he will simply start mailing you again without your permission.

I value your comments and the ones posted by other forum members but I really need examples. Several players have complained about this before and even in this thread I have requested examples but I do not get any response and it therefore does not help me at all.

Part of the problem may have to do with the age of the list. If your email addresses are relatively recent, they may not exist on any of the publishers other lists, which to the best of my knowledge are cross-marketed and pollinated - so, for example, one subscription request back in 2001 may have turned into many on many lists, while another subscription request in say 2004 with a different email address may have only managed to work its way into a smaller number of lists.

I would surmise that anything subscribed to in 2005 or later is probably no longer being cross-pollinated.

What probably needs to be done is that the publisher MUST be forced to combine all his lists into one list and then scrubbed of dead and duplicate email addresses, and then NOT be allowed to use any other list.

I followed the instructions, entered the emails that I have been getting this crap from, and apparently it didn't work. Earlier in this post you even replied to me stating that it took a couple of days for it to become effective. Maybe our ideas of a couple of days are vastly different!! Just tired of it.

I explicitly requested you to PM me or mail me at vpops@fortunelounge.com and you did not. You mailed someone else. I did not supply you with any address to opt out as I asked you, in my post, to send me your details so I can investigate why you were receiving these mails and to get you removed from the lists.

If you deal with someone else do not blame me when it it is not resolved and do not call me names.

I have repeatedly, in this forum, requested players who have issues with spam to mail me their details and to, preferably, attach a copy of the mail they have received. My mail address is very clear on this forum and I do read my PM's. Despite all the complaints posted I have not received any such mails from anyone. I will therefore, in future, only respond to complaints I receive via mail or PM and not to any further postings on this particular issue.

blaming the victim of your affiliates spam FL, is no way to do business. I have now sent you an email with my details, and can only hope that you will get my removal from the lists accomplished. I used the link provided me to remove me from the list and it did not work, it is your responsibility to keep your affiliates in line, not mine. In the future please do so and take the appropriate responsibility for your affiliates actions. As for calling you names, I'm not sure what you mean unless you consider impotent a "name". It wasn't meant as a slur at you, only an accurate discription of your actions to date on this matter!!!
