What are the current UK Online Casinos not applying to Gamstop?. We could generate a List in order to help members finding them out.
Of course, Input from users who signed in Gamstop and still receiving Communications from an UKGC Licensed casino will be a good way to warn them too.
Feel free to add your comments and suggestions to do this thread useful .

It might be better to specify which casinos do/don't take part in GamStop on the review pages, as opposed to making a specific list of those that don't opt-in

I would imagine self-excluded players would make up the vast majority of visits to a page that listed non-GamStop casinos. I can't really see anyone using purely to identify 'bad' casinos.

Hi Pereblue,

I agree that a list of those who don’t subscribe isn’t a good idea. That could be a ‘wish list’ for problem gamblers.

With regards to your comment about players who subscribe to Gamstop and still get communications from casinos - this is always going to be the case until the processes change.

If a player signs up to Gamstop, operators have no way of knowing until you attempt to log in. On login all UK customers get checked against the Gamstop database and if they are blocked, we prevent login and self exclude that account. If you don’t try and login the account is ‘open’ and available for communications - but will obviously be blocked if you try.

I can only imagine that an API to look up players against a database was too much of a risk - and I can see why!

I can’t imagine there’s many casinos left not signed up? I know of one that wasn’t on there but in the last week has implemented it and not yet on the participating list.

I added them up on Friday, there are 17 left. Most of these are new brands (with no sister sites) which have recently launched. I did e-mail each of them to ask when they are going to incorporate GAMSTOP but none of them considered it a priority.

There was a casino which is accredited here ( or at least it was , can’t be bothered to check now ) and it’s not on gamstop .

A streamer who is also a member here is taking full advantage of this and is heavily advertising them .....

As a senior member I thought you would get what I mean...

let me try to explain it a bit clearer - a streamer heavily advertises a casino which is not on gamstop. Of course he wouldn’t say “sign up here because the casinos isn’t on gamstop “. Problem gamblers don’t need a reminder !!! They will try to sign up straight away !

So he takes full advantage of the subs.

The casino in question is Casinoheroes. They implemented Gamstop as from TODAY!

And the streamer is a member of this forum.

Got it now ?

Just wanted to know the casino and now I do. Quite a few streamers are members of this forum. Nothing wrong with that. There are many many affiliates here too as you know. Affiliates who are allowed to advertise their websites in their profiles are held to high standards.

I assume you reported the one you said owns websites that promote rogue casinos. If you didn't then no point in the cloak and dagger stuff.

It's obvious you have issues with streamers. It's helpful though if you just say what the issues are . Can't be doing with having to be Columbo.

Quite an assumption here that I have issues with streamers. I follow quite a few of them and I like watching them.

Anyway the streamer in question is Chipmonkz.

And I really would like to end this discussion here .

I stand up for fair play as a player.

If you have issues with my comments - feel free to ban me. It’s your house it’s your rules .

Right - the original UKGC intention was that GAMSTOP would be fully operational by Spring 2018, then the start of 2019. As with most things Govt. agencies are involved in, it never went to schedule and the operator deadline has been extended again and again.

The list of participating operators/licensees is updated weekly and the latest, from 4 days ago is here:

Many streamers stream from and have casino heroes on their advertised list of casinos. Chip is one of half a dozen I can think of so not sure why you single him out.

casino heroes are an accredited casino here too and as Dunover says the deadline for being part of gamstop got extended so nobody is doing anything wrong.

No experienced member can 'get what you mean' if you're talking in riddles. Right, you've actually said what we needed to know, so:

I know Chipmonkz and he would never promote irresponsible gambling. The fact that Heroes wasn't in GAMSTOP at the time he promoted them is no foul at all as long as he didn't actually use that as a selling point, which he wouldn't. I doubt he even knew they weren't enrolled - they are good casino anyway. This matter seems to be incidental rather than any negative reflection on the streamer in this case.

I was on about UK streamers and Gamstop which is only active in the UK.

I’m not aware of any other streamer from the UK who was advertising Casinoheroes before they implement Gamstop.

You obviously have an issue with people expressing their opinions here.

Do me a favor - don’t bother me in the future please.
