Not going to name any here as it isn't just one i've noticed this with...
Time was, casinos would email you with a loyalty bonus or if you asked they'd throw a few free spins in your account or give you a small amount to play with, usually with a wager requirement attached.
Now, they're starting to use their automated loyalty schemes which payout at certain points - for instance late at night (European time) or during the middle of the morning.
So if you ask them for a small bonus, you often get told "our loyalty scheme handles that".
So i've made many hundreds of pounds (probably thousands) in the past month and am not putting any more funds into my stake account until this weekend.
My bonuses aren't available til a fixed time which means I can't play for a couple of hours this evening - which is my usual routine - which i enjoy.
Ask one of the casinos i use regularly (daily) who are in profit with me (33% of lifetime deposits) and they say no, as above.
I don't get it. This market is massively competitive and yet they don't want to go the extra mile for customers any more.
So what if you give someone a percent or two of your profits back on an ad-hoc basis. THAT extra mile will earn brand loyalty and ultimately pay you back many times over in time. But no.
Thing is, to compound this kind of thing - you speak to two different people and you get two different answers. Once realises that keeping your paying customers happy by giving them something small once in a while is a good idea, the other doesn't.
Anyway, this is a customer service issue and we all have different views. Sure some will agree and some will disagree. Just felt like a rant.
