Several Playtech casinos have recently updated their terms and conditions. I have received from casinos on which I was placed in the past, an email informing me of this change, and inviting me to visit their site to learn new words and conditions. I believe that this practice is quite normal.

My question is: can a casino apply to a former customer of new rules if it did not take the precaution to explicitly inform this customer of the changes occurred?

ummm yes it is your place to read all terms before you play
I know I will be corrected if I am answering wrong:rolleyes:

Yes.
Frankly I am amazed these un-named Playtechs took the time to inform anyone. I don't think I have been e-mailed about a change in T&C's from any casino ever!
What exact changes are you talking about - to General T&C's or Bonus T&C's?

Casinos can not change the rules regarding a bonus after the player has received it. (Well, they can do anything they like - but it's 100% rogue behaviour ).

I received email from Kiwi and Cotedazurpalace. On the other hand I could name a playtech casino which updated its T&C but considers that: "The Casino reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this offer at any time and it is your responsibility to periodically check here for changes and updates." And it is not rogued yet

This is quite normal, and OK provided the casino does not make any changes RETROSPECTIVE. In this respect, each deposit should be treated as a new contract within a relationship until either terms are met and a withdrawal made, or the player busts out. Changes made by the casino can only count for deposits made AFTER the changes have been published. This normally comes up in BONUS rules, rarely in the GENERAL rules.

I got 2 emails from Kiwi.

It seems that Kiwi poker is acquired by CDPoker and Kiwi casino by Prestige Casino.

This looks like yet another backward step for this once great casino group. Prestige Casino are prolific spammers, so I expect I will suddenly get a load for Kiwi (and Fastwin), and a whole lot more for the Prestige group as they buy my old personal details from Kiwi and Fastwin as part of the package.
