We have a glossary at Casinomeister that needs your input.
https://www.casinomeister.com/babelmeister-gambling-glossary/

If you have a term or acronym that you would like to see defined which pertains to online casinos or Casinomeister, please post them in this thread. We will update the glossary as time permits. Thanks!

Well then I repeat the acronym I don't know the whole meaning of AFYIK.
As For Your Information, but what does the K stand for?

AFAIK - as far as I know
FWIW - for what it's worth
IMO- in my opinion
IMHO- in my honest opinion
RTP- return to player
FYI- for your information

I'll add these when I can. Also, many acronyms are underlined in the forum. If you mouse over them, you will see their meanings. Like GG, AKA, WOL, OP, SOL, :p

You see how difficult it is for someone like me:oops:

He was only joking! ( I think...)

I think the acronyms are a good idea. Many times I have to force my brain to work to try to figure out what something means, never considered how difficult it would be for someone who's first language ISN'T English.

Really? I thought it was "In My Humble Opinion".

it could be/probably is? I've been awake for almost 18 hrs now so my brain is a little buzzed on caffeine :D I shouldn't do this when I need sleep LOL

Not sure why, but some of the letters at the top of the glossary dont seem to link right.
I clicked 'd' and it took me to the 'd' definitions.... but clicking 'p' did nothing.....

Oh... and an addition... may seem obvious but we're not all native english speakers:

R - Rep. -- a representative or someone speaking on behalf of a casino or organisation.
PM - Private Message -- send the 'rep' a 'PM' before you PAB

Two that I've had to ask about
YMMV - Your mileage may vary
ATM - At the moment

And one that might be confusing for newbies (I figured it out by myself but it took awhile)
SUB - Sign up bonus

Also most of us who have been playing for awhile have acronymned casino and casino group names - like FL, JF, CR, CWC, JPC, (All Star Slots ) so maybe that could be mentioned also....?

Might also want to add things like: shill, troll, gnome?

Might also want to add things like: shill, troll, gnome?

They're there already:

Gnome
Someone who opens multiple accounts at a casino pretending to be others. This is done by manufacturing false ID documents or the person is in league with another, using his or her identity to play at a casino.
"iNetBet was besieged by gnomes - but these douchebags forgot one thing; they used the same ____ when signing up."

Shill
Someone who feigns to be a satisfied customer, but is in league with the casino. Roguish casinos employ shills to post glowing comments about them, or they give their players $$ incentives to do so, or they take the easy route and just do it themselves.
"iButler Casino uses shills to produce good vibes for their casino - what dweebs."

Troll
A-holes who like to pick fights on the Internet. They will usually post acerbic and/or off topic posts on message boards to derail and rile up their perceived enemies.

I especially like this one:
Dweeb
A moron who doesn't have clue how stupid he (or she) is. Mostly reserved for spammers or anyone who disagrees with me.

 It's good to be king. :p
