Okely dokely, so I'll run the count again (I think we're good) but reach out this weekend if any ticket errors or forever hold your peace :p
I'll send them over to @pereblue (CM project manager) and together we'll do your random drawings together for transparency and results will be up Monday.

This is a good time to add any feedback you may have.

I'll try to pre-empt and address some points :)

Scheduling: Hopefully everyone liked the 2 week format - we wanted something not too short and hopefully not too long. The majority of traffic is around the noon-ish mark (my time) and while not ideal for every time zone, I tried to accommodate as many as I could with quickies and minis throughout the day and a 12 hr window for pms so as to not have challenges leak over into a new day, yet give each region a minimum of a few hours after standard work hrs to tackle them. So for example, most of Canada/US, lunch to midnight and UK 5pm til 5am.

Challenges: For Valentine's I focused on couples, romance and slots, generally pop culture like TV and movies and celebrities. Different contests will have different themes. Yes, much of it was North American centric as I'm form N.A. but to any wondering probably 90% upwards of all correct answers were from EU members. Movies were generally best well-received.
I'm aware people have time constraints, so hopefully people enjoyed the mix of quickies (easy, fast, first answers), minis (so multiple people could answer) and Dailies for those as preferred a trivia style challenge and could answer at their leisure. Feedback here is appreciated. :) I tried for a balance of super-simple and a few toughies for those as like the challenge.

Prizes: We've good things in the works but let's say, the more participants, the better all around. :)

I'm more than happy to receive any constructive feedback

Other than that? I hope those as did participate had fun playing. Busloads of work, but I enjoyed doing it.
Peace,
Dio

Awesome job! Thanks for doing this...I enjoyed the addition of the quickies, allowing me to jump in and play....didn't really have the time or the focus for the longer PM in ones... but was happy to participate.

IMO the contest was pretty much spot on. Scheduling and challenges were fair to all I think. I also liked that this was based on a theme, it added structure to the whole thing.

No complaints here.

Really enjoyed the contest mate! Fun format - this way i got to compete and take a trip down memory lane at the same time:p
I even missed two whole challenges and the mini's & quickies, but i don't feel i didn't have a fair chance at all!

I'm very happy with a respectable third place :D

The only thing, i would perhaps change - if it were up yo me - is the actual size of the pictures. Being an old fart with beady eyes does not help here..
I understand the way you compiled the pic's, so they aren't just searchable with Google: that is perfect, but if possible, could you just increase the size slightly?
I did try zooming, but that just got me blurry images ^.^

It still worked out for me, but you can;t imagine the amount of squinting i've done in the past weeks, lol!

Thanks so much for the fun :thumbsup:

cheers, maybe some people didnt notice, but i changed the image size a few times, hoping someone would bring it up :p I was trying to determine what size was best for people on pcs vs tv vs phones etc, so thanks for mentioning this - i'll enedeavour to insure images are a healthy size - maybe point to a particulary good sized image vs the worst, so I can optimize sizing.

Only thing I would add (for obvious reasons :p) is a guaranteed prize for top 3.
For the trial run we needed to see the member participation, so I wanted to make sure prizes didnt just go to top 3 in case, as can happen, a few people got a very healthy early lead and discouraged others from joining in or playing.
Personally, what I hope to see, is still random prizes but with a guaranteed prize for top ticket holder to encourage active participation and to reward those as worked hard :)
Of course, the more tickets still betters your odds. :p

I'm glad people are responding as all this will be listened to when developing future contests :)

Not sure if this will help but what I do is, instead of using a programme with a zoom (magnifying glass) where the image just becomes pixelated beyond recognition, I use ctrl + on my keyboard which makes the entire page super large (you can keep clicking those keys until its like youre sitting nose to tv)

Winners:

1st Prize: $60 Mouche

2nd Prize: $20 Nikantw

3rd Prize: $20 Steviedoo

WTG winners :)

Kindly pm @pereblue with your active emails in order to receive your prizes
(please allow 24-72 hrs before chasing up) - after that, any issues give me a holler :)

Thanks again and congratulations all.
Any further feedback, please feel free to drop it here and Happy Monday
:)
