Picture an endless highland desert: rolling hills, coyotes and creosote scrub, tumble weeds and bleached bones. A lonesome homestead on the horizon, but no signs of life. Oh! What's that sound? Someone hard at work. That would be our fearless leader, intermittently Skype-ing us from his cabin out in the Wild, Wild West somewhere in America. "Make it so" he says and thus it is that I'm here to announce the release of the 2018 edition of Casinomeister's Best & Worst Awards.

They're here, they're live and they're yours to enjoy!

2018 Meister Awards,Best and Worst in Online Gambling - Casinomeister

Always and still the “only iGaming awards that matter” the Casinomeister 2018 Awards for the online casino industry have now been published at Casinomeister.com for the 2018 calendar year. Casinomeister's "Best and Worst" awards are held by many in the industry to be some of the most important and prestigious awards given to the online gaming community.
Casinomeister’s Meister Awards for 2018:
This year VideoSlots shares the top honours with Trada as “Best Casino of 2018”. VideoSlots continues to get awesome reviews by Casinomeister’s forum members but Trada has proved equally popular in this year's voting to no-one's surprise. The two were dead-tied in voting for Best Casino by the Casinomeister Advisory Group. Bailey stated, “instead of flipping a coin ... I am giving the award to both casinos: Trada Casino and Videoslots. Both of these casinos are just freaking amazing.”
Trada Casino also took the honors for “The Best Customer Service of 2018”, as they have done for the third straight year. Bailey: "Trada Casino is one of the best run casinos in the business and sets a prime example that their competitors should take note of." Trada's Rachael Morgan also took the award for Best Casino Manager of 2018 while their Player Manager, Conor Dargle, nailed Best Casino Representative of 2018.
Best New Casino of 2018 has gone to Fun Casino managed by the L&L Europe Group which was able to "successfully maneuver its way though our Baptism by Fire process in February 2018, and to actually exceed our expectations. I was happily amazed as were many of our forum members on how swift the casino rep L&L Jan dealt with any issue to a satisfying conclusion.”
This year’s Ted Loh Humanitarian Award goes to Christine Marrah for her years of work with Team Rubicon, a disaster response group which is mostly comprised of veterans and first responders. As an active volunteer, she’s in a leadership position for the organization’s Region VII. She has deployed a number of times to various disasters in the US and has worked both in management positions as well as in the field performing muck-out and chain saw teams. Her work is an awesome example that others would be challenged to follow.
But the awards are not all praise. There are the “worst” of the year awards as well: Worst Customer Service, Worst Casino, Worst Player Experience, Biggest Disappointment of 2017, Head in the Sand Award, Bag of Hammers Award, and much more. Meister Awards 2018

Well done to all of the award winners. I've no doubt that they are all very richly deserved. Thank you too to Bryan and Max for all of their painstaking work in amassing all of the data, processing it and providing the results. I hope that all of the winners and those associated with them pop open a bottle of their fave tipple in celebration of their achievements :)

What can I say - thank you all so much!
2018 was an amazing year, and every member here (including Rachel) has kept us on our toes.

I have a feeling 2019 will be a big year for us on Casinomeister.

Big shout out to @Casinomeister , @LadyJelena @maxd and all of the CM team for collating and reviewing all of this data!

And congratulations to all of the other winners this year - well deserved by everyone!

In a way I'm surprised we won two awards. I know we have been active, but for me personally its not that the year past fluently. We had a lot of challenges, regulatory changes, consumer protection organizations being involved and much more. So you couldnt really plan your work ahead accordingly. Besides that, we also invested over a year in a new platform that we have developed and the migration project of sites and players was seriously massive. Where I'm pretty sure not many customers even felt the change. For me that was our highlight of 2018, finalize a new platform + migrate sites + migrate players! I'm really happy and proud of our tech team!

Funny fact though: I was considering to invest a lot of time to write a post for the CM community on how I viewed this year. So many things have changed. Regulatory bodies and their requirements, Consumer protection requirements and advertising standard codes you head to deal with throughout the year (not only for UK). It was a year not to forget and really great year to be working in the industry! And I think I can say that, after 7 years. Right? :) I didnt do the post, I didnt create the content, why? Because we had to prepare for Sweden ! And that project is still ongoing!

To be honest, 2017 was a really bad year for us. We had to close 3 major casino brands that generated the most of our revenue. And than we win 2 rewards in 2018 for: best new casino (yeah, with Hyper we win it again this year ;) ) and best group. I'm very proud of the team and organization! I was surprised when I read: NO PAB submitted. But yes, I checked my mailbox: no PAB! So either we did well, or @maxd lost my email address :)

The vision I have about 2019, I'll keep that to myself :) But, I'll do everything possible to continue to make players happy and to provide a site and service around it that simple "works"! Because thats the only things that matters for players, no fully terms and a service that provides what you guys need!

Thanks CM team for the awards, I really feel a shamed now I can not go to london and visit the Meister meeting! Really! But we need to get our system accredited for Sweden, so when you guys are having fun in Londen. I'll be focussing on that part :) I hope you understand!
