Casinomeister App???

I joined the 21st Century and got a Droid smartypants-phone. Is there a Casinomeister app for, uh, Casinomeister forum?

I remember reading something about Bryan creating a mobile template, so I assume no app.

Anyone know if CM is tapatalk enabled? I hate that app as it's a PITA to navigate through forums, but some people seem to like it.

Yes, this is a project that is being dealt with in the very near future - possibly by this next week

About a 100 people a day access the forum via mobiles.

Great app A couple minor problems (nothing major, like force closes, etc)...

1. The "most recent" list (what you see when you open the app after login) isn't the 10 most recent things - like what we are used to seeing when we log on to the Forums section of the site - it seems a little dated. Also, there's no way to "refresh" it. You're stuck with the same data even after logging out and in again.

2. "Quotes" don't appear "quoted" unless it's not the first portion of a post (my EVO displays it just as written in HTML). You still see the actual text of a quote, it's just that it's a little harder to recognize.

Other than that, the app is great! Keep it up!

The "top ten" is a special plugin. You should be able to turn this off when you access the forum. Try clicking the "Top 5 Stats" link on the upper left hand side, you should see that option. I'm not sure if I can have it detect Android browsers and turn itself off.

First off... I'm old fashoned and believe telephones (even the cell phone variety LOL) should just be a phone. (and I HATE cellphones, however necessary the evil) BUT the next time we get new cell phones we may be forced to enter the 21st century and have access to the web on the damn things. (i prefer carrying my little netbook and mobile broadband usb in my purse LOL) And don't EVEN let me get started on the evils of texting! LOL

So, since I have no clue about smart phones and such, help me out here. Why would we need an 'app' to access our forum here? I couldn't just get on the web and click a shortcut or something and be here and read posts?

Actually, you have nothing to fret about. The Android app and the upcoming iPhone app are for persons with Blackberries and iPhones and such. It allows them to fully interact in the forum while traveling to and from wherever. There are around 100 visitors a day who access the forum via their phones - many I am guessing are i-Gaming reps and affiliates who deal with the "business" aspect of this site.

I bought one of those Android tablet thingies and have used the CM Android App.

Works really well!

The smileys show up as just the smiley code though and not graphical smieys(I can live with that though!)

Over all was easy to use and read. Especially like how the thread just scrolls down and you don't have to change to the next page, it just loads and then follows on at the bottom of page one! Awesome!

Sorry to bump up such an old thread, but I couldn't find any custom iPhone tapatalk app for Casinomeister or access from the main one. I use Tapatalk on iPhone a lot. Am i missing a way to find it or did it possibly just get dropped as a low priority item?

Thanks, took a look but didn't see what I was looking for. I shoulda banged the apple apple apple iphone iphone drum in my post to make it more obvious. I found the Droid app, but I couldn't find an IPHONE app. Try as I might, I've never managed to make the switch away from the 'cult of apple' on my phone. That's the only Apple stuff I still use. Its interface is just too ingrained in my smartphone habits and it synchronizes so well with a lot of other information stores I use.

Thanks, I'll just let him answer at his leisure if he wishes. Not that important. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some other silly restriction from Apple or Tapatalk that stalled it. They aren't the easiest companies to work with.

Yeah - that one is free - but it doesn't support iPhones and iPads (you have to contend with the awesome built-in CM forum template). It's the one that is hosted by Forumrunner.com that costs you $1.99.
