I have been seeing deposit bonuses with higher amounts of spins. For example a new offer is probably in your your email which is 80% and you can get 50 free spins if you pick the right code. Well what they dont tell you in the email is that the 50 spins are at 12 lines for .01 cents per line on count spectacular. Count spectacular is a 25 line game so they are reducing the lines by more than half.

I am not one to normally jump at free spins, especially when awarded after your play, but the 50 spins kind of jumped out as a decent offer to go along with the 80%. Obviously the Casinomax casino are using the high # of spins as a marketing tool to attract your eyes and deposits. I would certainly consider this marketing as deceptive. I have honestly never seen free spins offered at less lines than the max # of lines. Unfortunately things like this make you wonder where else are they cutting corners or being sneaky.

Oh, there have been many of those offers from some MG download casinos (Spin Palace springs to mind). Pretty disgusting, they should clearly mention this in the promo.

The casinomeister review scores them a very respectable 8.0 with the following summary:-

Awesome managers and staff. Great RTG games. Fantastic promos!

Hi BMWSTACK,

Thank you for the message. The promotion is a special even for Halloween countdown. The deposit match itself is set at 80% already which is pretty decent in my eyes. In order to give player something extra we decided to add 50 free spins to the code. If we offer this on full lines the spins had to be reduced. We wanted to give player more playtime with higher than usual free spin amount. This promotion also include deposit match with no free spins to be used. There is nothing sneaky about this promotion nor we are cutting any corners.

We try to give player a variety of options whenever possible.

@Mouche12 when player redeems the code all terms and conditions are included on their screen.

Kind Regards,
Karolina

If you deposit $100 and claim the 80% bonus the wager is over $7000. For...an...$80....bonus. And you cant cashout the bonus money and its taken back......

That is not good in anybodies eyes.

yeah i agree thats way too generous. Next time you should make it 200 extra spins with 3 lines.

Than you for all your comments!

I'll take it on board and discuss with marketing manager.

It would be MUCH better if they gave you even more spins - but on only 5 lines!

This is the only RTG slot (as far as I know) where you get severely punished for playing all lines: If you have a full screen of wilds the pay-out only equates to 5-lines worth, regardless of the number of lines you are paying for.
(This is because of the max 50,000 x line-bet win rule).

Thanks for the reply. Like i said i normally dont pay attention to free spins, but 50 free spins with the match caught my eye, i didnt think they would reduce the lines.

I know you said you would speak to marketing about comments. Here is something to mention in regards to free spins. The way they set up the free spins is attractive to the smaller deposits, how about having a different tier for people that deposit more. For example if someone deposits $250, $6 in free spins is not very lucrative. A larger deposit should warrant going up to at least .02 a spin on full lines.

I just think marketing needs to be able to make these promotions better for different deposit levels. FOR example have a level of $35-$75 and they get the $6 worth of spins. Then $76-$150 gets $12.50 worth of spins, $151+ gets $18 worth of spins. I personally would prefer to see full lines and the amount per line go up at larger deposit tiers. I dont play games at less than max lines and im sure the majority plays max lines, so why would anyone want to play free spins at less lines?

Thanks again for listening. And yes You Karolina, are what makes this group my go to group.

What I've always wondered about this on RTG - is the game's RTP setting calculated based on the 50,000 line maximum or is it created as if that maximum didn't exist? In other words, are people playing maximum lines on some high variance games getting screwed out of a bit of RTP, or are the people who play fewer lines getting a little bit higher than the RTP for other games?

For most games it's probably a pretty small effect, but there are some games like Nova 7's where a single line can pay 38,000x. A very rare result, but there are a few games that seem like you could realistically "overshoot" the maximum and lose RTP.

Regarding the topic of the thread, I think the point isn't whether or not the spins are a "good deal," but whether or not it's misleading to advertise free spins and then not give full lines. I would expect at minimum 1c per line. I'm not a super high roller, but sometimes I feel like 12 cent free spins are almost wasting my time, especially since some geniuses decided to not let you auto-spin them.

To make the point as clear as possible by taking it to an extreme, what if you decided to offer 10,000 free spins... but only a single 1 cent line? That's a pretty good deal, $100 worth of extra spins. But most people who deposited for that promotion would feel like they just got scammed.

Hi BMWSTACK,

I will definitely put your suggestion across. I'll have to check if similar set up will be possible in RTG bonus settings. We can do it with deposit matches but not 100% sure if the free spins can be determined by deposit size.

Thank you again for the valuable comments

Karolina

Just be happy you get promotions. They took away all my bonuses as they previously did when they were running clubworld. I wont be playing here anymore. I have been buying on nonstop and get zero playtime. They can care less about their customers from what I can tell. You will also notice the jackpots are not increasing at all. They have very few people playing. Until they give me the promotions back and show some sort of respect for my money I will play at brango or somewhere else. They need a lot of work on their marketing and less wagering req'son bonuses/

As far as I can tell, the only casinos that serve U.S. and actually have progressive jackpots that move at a reasonable rate are:

1. Bodog group (bodog, bovada, ignition, etc.) Their reel series slots are archaic and horribly slow, however. Very early build of the software. Also refuse to give out RTP info.
2. Slotocash/deckmedia group (slotocash, fairgo, uptown aces)

Does anyone know any others? I agree it's a bit worrisome to see all these casinos with stagnant random jackpots - which seems to be every RTG casino other than sloto group. Not that playing a smaller casino is necessarily bad, but it's nice to have the higher progressives to offset the fact that the slots themselves seem to just devour my money. And that they're financially comfortable enough to not despise players who happen to get lucky with a big win.

They def do not treat their players or affiliates very well. Next to no freebies either and they raised cashback to outrageous requirements.

Well sloto lets you cashout bonus money and has much lower wagering so there is no incentive to play in casinomax group over others.

Hi lockinlove,

I appreciate your comments.

I can assure everyone here that we respect all players and affiliates and treat them well. In regards to cash back bonus we do offer 40% cashback on your deposit - probably the highest % most casinos will offer. Requirements for the cash back are very standard to any other operator.

Kind Regards,
Karolina

If it's like sloto which is x10 on their cash back I'll definitely put more time in at casinomax utilizing that, but if it's a x30 or something I'll probably avoid.

So yea again slotocash wins out. They have a x10 playthru on their cash back which is like 25% and it has "no max" cashout.

I just checked with casinomax via support and it's x20 playthru with x10 max cashout.

X10 max cashout? Unless someone has a monster amount that's pretty low to the point of being not worth it.

im afraid thats bonusback, not cashback :)

Sloto isn't perfect but I think that's a stellar cash back and playthru, 10x playthru is really nice and no max cashout.

I would happily play at other casinos more to try and see like casino max for instance but they really need to have better incentives to burn my money.

Not trying to bash Casinomax BUT only because Karolina works there and is an awesome rep. But I have questioned Casinomax since day 1 and even more so since I have been looking at their playthrough amounts when using any bonus. Just about all of them are 40% WTH.....Even rival casinos are not that high 30% and some 25% depending on the bonuses used. I NEVER use bonuses with casinomax due to that playthrough amount because it includes your depost PLUS bonus. IMO only playthrough should ONLY be applied to the bonus cash given by the casino NOT the cash amount deposted. Just my two cents.
