Hi,

Can anyone tell me if CasinoBTC.bet is a scam or ok to play?

It is licensed by Curacao which I think many people do advise to avoid?

The site seems to have a good range of games..

Cheers

The range of games is TOO good. They've even got 'south park' and 'alien', which are deleted games. They now only exist on the FAKE NetEnt servers.

So, I'd AVOID

Do you have any links or more info on this Roobet and Gamdom? I’ve searched the forums and only found some basic threads mainly linking with streamers.

They have lots of payment options on the website including using payment processors with major banks in the U.K.

My verification was approved within 20 mins via email with one requirement needed, although the live chat timed out the email was responded to quickly.

I agree the old NetEnt games seem dodgy, I’m going to email NetEnt later to confirm they don’t have permission or licence to use their games which will help me with the fraud/chargeback process with the bank.

The site seems extremely professional and well laid out, they even have live tables available.

I did lose money on the site last night but I actually had a good session in all. But if I found out the games are fake then I will deffo contact my bank, also I’m aware of the lack of U.K. licence but this is due to the whole GamStop situation (which I don’t wanna get into)

I’ve played on unlicensed sites before and most have always paid out without a problem, apart from a recent issue which you can see via my previous threads.

This site however confirms payouts within 48 hours Monday-Friday

This casino only opened on 22nd June 2020, if anyone could maybe sign up and have a little search about for me that would be fine, I would love to know what you think. If there is any keywords on licensing and breach names please let me know as I’ll use this in my dispute.

thanks

Hint: The payment processing companies for both are located in Cyprus.

Sorry, I won't sign up. Don't want to give this shower any of my details, not even fake details.

You can log-in and start a Netent game, South Park or any other. Watch in the bottom left corner what it says "connecting to..." .... the legit server is xxx.casinomodule.com .....if it says e.g. "slotomatic...." or something else, it is fake.

Alternatively, open a game in fun mode. I did so for Fruit Shop at Unibet. Hover your mouse over the game, right click and Inspect Element.

Click on Network and spin once. You will then see the bet request going to the server.

thanks for this, very useful information. I’ll use these screenshots as evidence for the bank.

So if NetEnt was informed of the site using fake discontinued games without a licence, what can NetEnt do?

At least, they left Scarface out of the NetEnt list.  But they got some other faker gems like Aliens and Frankenstein.

Nothing NetEnt can do. The games do not come from them or are in any way under their control.

So let’s say this fraudulent casino site does pay out. From these unlicensed fake NetEnt and Novomatic games, especially if you don’t take a bonus etc they have no reason not to payout surly? I’m not sure as I haven’t had a withdrawal and won’t be going back.

Can they manipulate the RTP for players and manipulate the gameplay on say NetEnt games? Or is it purely poor graphics, sound issues, lots of errors etc etc...

Also when I put my card details in to make a deposit, my own bank had the *** Bank Visa Secure Box come up, so why on earth are banks allowing there own logos and security boxes to show on these dodgy sites? My bank asked three security questions including previous address and known people to me in order for the transaction to be approved. Doesn’t sound very ethical from the banks side working with fraudsters.

I must have played at around 15 unlicensed sites (4 did not pay) but my bank gave all my money back when providing proof the site is unlicensed you can now request a letter from the Gambling Commission to confirm the site is fake, illegal and a crime to take money from U.K. residents and the bank will always go by this including Visa and MasterCard.

UKGC take just 24/48 hours to drop players an email with the information including the link of licensed casinos for banks to view for themselves.

I recently spoke to a chargeback/dispute manager who confirmed under NEW visa and MasterCard rules 94% of dodgy casino sites chargebacks for in the favour of the consumer and Visa/MasterCard fine the casinos/payment processors.

That’s a good point. Surly they must have a enforcement team who are able to take legal action to protect there own brand but also consumers?

Presumably so, especially where that version purports to be exactly the same as the 'original', which is surely a step farther than a mere 'copycat'

Probably finding out who to send the legal papers to is a problem as many of the sites are probably run from a Russian Gulag :p

My banks dispute and chargeback manager even said this to me and I quote

“How can we or Visa/MasterCard decline a chargeback/dispute case against a unlicensed casino company, by the way confirmed by the U.K. Gambling Commission (UK Government) which is operating illegally, this would be wrong for the bank to take the scammers side. This is why these days so many claims go in the favour of the victim”

He went onto say, “the legal sites like William Hill or Mecca Bingo, customers have a tiny chance of success”

Or linked to Israel who seem to run the gambling industry, including Hollywood and the porn industry as well.

Once my current chargeback case comes to an end then this bunch of crooks will be next.

They can set whatever RTP they want. They might pay as they probably run the games at 70-80% RTP if that much. Usually, they pay small winners and as long as they stay in profit with a player.

Your card number gives aways what bank it is, so the Visa Secure Box is normal.

The payment processor or better said the facade of it sits in Cyprus and thus has full access to the EU financial system. The company behind the processor is in Curacao.

The bank doesn't know they are fraudsters until someone reports it. Until then, it is a legitimate transaction from an official Visa/MC partner.

That’s really interesting cheers.

Some people would disagree with me and others not, this is why it’s so important for ‘victims’ to contact their banks and the U.K. Gambling Commission and commence the chargeback/dispute route against these criminals.

Imagine if we all did this against unlicensed gaming sites, especially the ones who are using fake/discontinued casino games from the likes of NetEnt and Novomatic.

1. The ‘victim’ gets the money back.
2. The authorities then would be aware and could take enforcement action. Even though the UKGC are pretty useless at this currently.
3. Banks would refuse to accept payments from other customers in the future as they would be aware that it’s illegal site.
4. MasterCard, Visa, American Express could also help in stopping future payments going through.
5. Banks and Visa/MasterCard fine the merchant for every successful dispute/charge - Thus, deterring setting up sites for the future and closing the current one down. Yes the risk of Bitcoin etc is going to cause further problems.
6. It’s great for LEGAL casino sites and sites such as CasinoMeister.

Imagine if suddenly 400 NatWest Bank customers filed a chargeback against a particular dodgy casino site, there is no way they would keep allowing transactions to keep going through. It’s a win win for everyone except the fraudsters who run the site, they simply cannot appeal against the chargeback because they are illegal. By taking money from U.K. citizens is an offence and that is what the U.K. Gambling Commission specifically says when you ask for a letter after providing them with the sites info.

As the biggest forum for Gambling I truly believe CasinoMeister should be doing everything possible to promote the chargeback scheme against all illegal gambling sites, even assist in writing various letter templates for victims which can be used over and over for people to get the money back. Also to offer support on who to contact and what to say if questioned.

It would bring new users to forums, other users can offer advise on the best legal sites and tips on what to look out for.

Then to deter chargebacks against the legal sites just because somebody had a run off back luck.

Do you like playing Whack-A-Mole?

Because should you indeed manage to shut one down then five or more new ones will instantly appear. Just for your CasinoBTC, I have linked already about 40 other unregulated casinos to the same people with dozens of operating companies and payment processors.

It is like a Hydra. :D

I would ask the question why bother playing in clip joints like this at all if you are from the UK? There is so much choice for UK players that there is no need to go to sites like this, unless you have signed up to Gamstop and are now playing these sites to get a free run, i.e play, lose, chargeback....

haha , Well you see if we all did bank chargebacks/disputes against these crooks they will be less willing to keep setting up sites in the future especially if each time they keep getting fined, plus who on earth would keep giving them the payment processing software when thousands of victims are getting refunds.

Unfortunately, this malarkey is so profitable that those fines are not even pocket change for them.

The official front person (not that it will link you to the real people behind these scams) for your casino is barely 30 years old and a director/secretary of 200+ companies. No doubt, they can add another 200 to that tally.

GamStop has ultimately caused this problem, it’s helped a huge number but made matters so much worse for others.

For example the dodgy casino in the title, I could not find any information on the casino (it was opened just one week a go) I had the urge to play NetEnt Games, I assumed it was genuine by the games and by other parts of the site, just that it was licensed within the U.K.

I did not add myself to GamStop someone I know didn’t like the fact I lost £500 one night and added me to the GamStop site for 5 years. I do not have a gambling problem, but because this person knew every part of my life they answered the questions correctly and the block was implemented. Due to this, there is now nothing I can do. I have the urge once a month to have a flutter on decent slots Just like every other gambler.

Ive come across a lot of people online in my situation who search out international sites not under U.K. GamStop rules, then we sadly come across fake sites like this who are using dodgy NetEnt sites, but everybody I know who follow those steps I’ve typed previously have always been successful in getting money back.

I personally know people who have done 80-100 chargebacks against fake casino sites and have got every single penny back, 30% of those sites are now closed as they ALWAYS report them to the Gambling Commission, they where reported because the sites refused to pay genuine winnings and had extremely unfair and predatory terms and conditions.

See it this way, you love collecting trainers but sometimes you order them and you realise they are fake but the retailer refuses to refund. So as per the Visa/MasterCard rules you can put a chargeback through so its the same for illegal gambling sites.
