Casino770 becoming NetBet.com

I don't play iNet so I don't care, but personally I like the sharpness and simplicity of NetBet...rolls off the tongue well.

Hi,

it also wants to promote Sports betting more....because for many years bet770.........

now we will use Sbtech platform on sports , better live and better results and gaming experience for the players

i would like to have live streaming, but this is something that we see the next few months for selected countries

If I may humbly suggest. Casino770/Netbet.com should be placed back into the not-recommend list until their symbol/icon issue is resolved.

I expect it will get resolved by iNetBet's lawyers once their rep finds out about this.

It will, of course, depend on how iNetBet view this, but if 32Red was anything to go by, the similarity was less, and they still took action and won damages.

If Netbet lose, they will have to change their branding again, and may also find that their other sites will also have to change under the terms of any settlement.

The attitude of the bosses seems to be one of "we don't care who's toes we step on, we are going ahead anyway".

Hi Dunover,

even if the name was BwinS i wouldnt care, trust me. Even if it was Rockythetalianstalioncasino i wouldn't care

the thing is not the name, but the quality. If we do good on that on quality of services, who cares about the name? Definately not me

I'm sorry but that's a bad attitude IMO. You've blatantly plagiarized an established logo/casino and think that somehow this will be overlooked if you do 24-hour cashouts and answer questions promptly on here.
Irrespective of your honesty and good presence here, it says a lot about those who own you and their integrity, and what lengths they will go to to vault their way into the established ranks.
It also suggests that he business must be based in bandit country for them to be so confident as to have the audacity to pull this one with impunity.

I won't be joining you, copy that!:(

Hmphhhh. I view this as a blatant attempt to steal thunder from an existing brand. Should they return to their roguish ways in future Inetbet will be dragged down with neg publicity.

Yes, but they were both licensed in Gib so the legal course is much easier. I can't see a licensing jurisdiction from either site so legal action might be somewhat difficult from iNetBet.

Strange thing to do though, a re-brand to almost the same name as a competitor.

Interesting, in Bryans review it says that iNetBet are licensed in Curacao. However, I can't find that info on their site either.

They seem to already have an established brand behind the name so why wouldnt they use the name Netbet? I actually like the name Netbet. Nice and simple :)

IMO the name isnt the problem, it's the logo. But that could just be a coincidence. I'd be very interested to see Inetbet's response.

Hello,

I deny, because these are "conspiracy theories" that nothing have to do with the re-branding.

Listen, you may not be responsible, but someone in your business has taken a big liberty with your logo, and you know it.
A bit like getting Van Gogh's 'Sunflowers' and changing the flowerheads and rebranding the painting 'Vin Gough's Roses'......

Nifty loaned me his nose, and I smelled the BS a mile away.

You would hardly need Nifty's nose to sniff that one out....
I could smell it with my head two feet under water and a cork up each nostril..:D

Hello,

it hasn't to do with SEO... casino770 is very much connected with the seo practices and is between the top 3 seo companies....many years now...

Yeah I am sure Casino770 was very much involved in search engine optimisation and sadly or positively in some ways not good for the site. I suspect the sarcasm of my post was lost there.

Standing up to a BOF to gain trust and then once a certain amount of trust is gained with perhaps the knowledge that posters here may have influence to share this trust seems a little off.

I’d explain my last sentence that would probably been better worded with “If the brand name was so trustworthy then why change the name?”
Going through the BOF and coming out relatively unscathed would surely have delighted the shareholders and board members to be proud of the brand name.

I myself would be a little sad to have done so much work to clear a name that had history, shown it to be cleared up to an extent only to find senior management do a name change that blows away the trust to people like me.

The changing of a trade name I am sure takes time and more time than the BOF did.

I wonder if xxx company wants to show it’s self as worthy of a BOF whilst we change our name to company xxx would have been a better choice?

It's already a done deal, the site it up and running, and has already managed to pull off a couple of awards:rolleyes:

Look what they have to say about their license:what:

Here's another quote, from the "Spot the Rogue" section.

Knowledge is power
Their website should be able to answer the following questions::
•Who is their software provider?

•Where are they licensed?

•What company is behind this operation?

Many casinos are proud of their software since there are some very good providers - Microgaming, Cryptologic, Playtech, Boss Media, Real Time Gaming, WagerWorks, etc. If a casino is not divulging who their software provider is - hmm - red flag. Perhaps they're hiding something.

Where are they licensed? If they claim to be licensed in Costa Rica or any other place in Central America, you can be sure that they are unlicensed - in other words, they do not have a gaming license but only a business license. Caveat - there are a number of casinos that have their servers based in Costa Rica which are reputable operations. When in doubt - check our Accredited List, or pose a question in our forum.

Beware of an overindulgence in awards - especially awards that are not hyperlinked. They could easily be faked.

The EEC do not award gaming licenses, and they don't regulate the activity, not even vaguely.

It is SPECIFIC EU countries that offer gaming licenses, and they all have one thing in common - all licensed operators must show their license on their website.

The ONLY specific mention of a country is Alderney, and this could lead players to believe that Alderney are involved in regulating the software. In fact, Alderney have nothing to do with it, all the statement means is that standards drawn up by the AGCC were used in the testing. The lack of mention of the licensing jurisdiction, coupled with the mention of the AGCC could confuse players into believing it's the AGCC that are looking after their interests.
