casino support chat can't be copy/paste?

I was checking on a withdrawal request with a casino I had cashed out at and had a question I needed to address(opted out of bonus and did not see it removed in the transaction history, although it clearly was) I spoke with the very helpful customer support who had coincidentally been the gentleman to handle that request the other night. *always makes things easier*.

After the conversation ended, I decided I wanted to save this should there be any question or negating down the road on the part of the casino. I found I could not copy the chat. The curser would "blink", for lack of a better term, and not highlight the conversation allowing me to copy and save it*Just in case I have good claim to post it here*

Is this unusual? something new? a way for casinos to protect themselves from Sir Casinomeister? hmm, made me wonder. Of course, perhaps it's the cynical, "be-on-the-lookout-for-a-crook" side of me. Or it could have been something as simple as the user not knowing what she was doing.(but I don't think the later is true)

Anyone ever had difficulty being able to copy/paste from live casino support?

BTW...it was megasportcasino....a new casino which I had heard great things from other players on other forums with one of the "faster" payouts by playtech.

Take screen shots. Cut and paste isn't proof, anyway - you could have written it yourself.

Maybe casinos protect themselfs

Few word about live chat:
(only good reputation casinos)

_____
SciFi Casino
(Good reputation, good CS)
(But i don't have experience about gambling there)

live chat, first line:
" *This chat session is privileged and confidential. Do not copy or send this session to any third party.* "

I just open their chat window, and close immediately, because i didn't remember their "warning". I didn't talk anything. So it was not "chat session"

_____
Phoenician/Nostalgia (Phoenician Group):
(very good reputation, good CS)

They don't normally use in CS their names. Not in live support, and not in E-mail respond. However, i ask about this from their live support, and got nice reply. I don't see any reason to post that chat session to here, because they are always so helpful. And their CS works always (e-mail & chat)

_____
King Neptunes Casino/sisters (Trident E Group)
(very, very, very good reputation ;) . They are awesome)

They use their (first) names, they answer fast (e-mail & chat), they have superb CS.
But if you want to Copy/Paste your chat session, good luck, because it is Java-based chat. But i don't see any reason to copy chat sessions from any Trident E group casinos, however, i think they send that, if you want.

_____
Also Sunny Group, NETeller (not casino), etc, use java-based chat-software. However, many those places send your chat session, if you want.

Btw, if you want quick copy
Press anywhere is chat area (where is your replies/CS)

Ctrl + A
then
Ctrl + C

that's it

Then Ctrl + V
to paste, i.e WordPad

(Of course you can use your mouse to select what you want to copy, then Ctrl + C, because if you want i.e copy my text, i don't recommend Ctrl + A. Why? you can test: press anywhere in my text, then Ctrl + A)
:)

And 2nd btw, some chat-sofware add weird invisible boxes, when you paste. Just press many place in your copy, and then delete (press "delete") those boxes.

and also... if I remember correctly... The casino chat leaves a file in the directory you've installed the casino to. It's called chatlog.rtf or something, I'm sure it's an .rtf file, just search this directory. This file contains the chat you've just had.

If this is true, I don't think this applies to Microgaming software since I don't see any rtf, txt files anywhere in the casinos' software directory.

Hmm.. I understood that the question was about a playtech casino and I'm certain the playtech's do have this log file. I don't know about RTG or any other casino software though.... sorry.
