Atlantic City casinos have had to deal with double digit revenue declines for the better part of the past two years. The economy has played a major factor in the revenue loss, and some casinos in the city simply cannot afford to keep losing revenue at the pace of the past six months.
I also read this week in the NY Post that for this year so far their down 14.9% from last year. Im sure things cant be much different, if not worse for online gaming.
Online casinos when compared to land based casinos, can only fight for survival with lower RTPs and the recent offering of bonuses that to win with would be like hitting a power-ball interstate lottery, or if successful can't withdraw much cash with limits.
