I got a letter in my snail mail from Casino Rewards today stating that I had won $20 FREE in casino chips at Golden Tiger Casino, totally free with no strings attached. This money is now yours to play your favorite casino games as a pre-approved VIP player. All you need to do is download and register at Golden Tiger Casino and you will immediately receive your complimentary $20 deposited straight into your new casino account.

Only problem is I already have a Golden Tiger Casino Account and it is listed with all my other accounts when I log into my CASINO REWARDS account. I know they know I already have an account with Golden Tiger so why would they send me a letter asking me to register another one ? Are they trying to trick me ?

Are you sure it was from casino rewards themselves and not someone sending out spam, is there any affiliate links attached to the links in the email?

I don't see any affiliate links. The letter is signed by Steven Cooke, Promotions Manager, Casino Rewards Network. USA Phone No.: 888-942-7466

A CD of the casino was also included.

I can assure it is from casino rewards , my cd was cracked and they are sending a replacement. as far as the thing about already having an account, can't help you there. Belgamo

And yes, this one seems to be directly from Casino Rewards.

Funny...I got a free $20 from them 2 weeks ago for Captain Cooks that was for existing...that one worked...lost it...dammit...lol.

i guess it was probably a blanket mailing of the player database they aquired from the takeover of captain cooks. theres nothing sinister, and this quite often happens when 1 group takes over another, i think its probably due to having 2 databases they cant reconcile.

whats the betting that we see a thread in the complaints section title "casino rewards are liars" with a story along the lines, saying they offered me a free a $20 bonus, but they wont give it to me as i already have an account. but why did they send me an email personally addressed to me, if they had no intnention of......

From my experience CR does send this out and looks for anyone to take the bait. However if you have already used a CR bonus you will be a BONUS ABUSER. They have locked my bonus account though the only bonus is due to comp points. I have deposited +$500 and fortunately my cashins have been > and they state I have not risked any of my funds??. This group has poor CS and there are many many better MG casinos.

I have gotten quite a few offers from them also but for new players. They just send them to everybody which is dumb.

I get this promotional stuff for offers I am not entitled to. It dates back to before they took over Integrity, so forget the crap about reconciling databases. I was personally assured by CS that I could have a second bonus at Yukon Gold as the bonus at Lucky Emperor was a deposit based and not a free chip. "Only one free chip across the whole group unless you have deposited funds". Casino rewards is specifically designed for players to have several accounts across the group, it's how it's marketed, BUT when you do have those accounts they get annoyed.
I too had my bonus account & comps locked despite having busted out of a deposit bonus. I had rude CS, so I made a complaint to the Kahwanake Gaming Commission. Although I found no formal procedure, I got a reply back to say that Casino Rewards had been given 2 weeks to rectify the situation to their satisfaction. Casino Rewards failed to reply to me, but my bonus account got unlocked!!!
I played out & lost my comps, uninstalled all their casinos, and signed up with Casino Action instead - they at least had a live scoreboard, and their bonuses & promotions were better then as well - pity they had to fix something that wasn't "broke". I now play Jackpot Factory for tournaments in preference, as the prizes are actually cashable, and the WR are much better - I even complained to their CS that some might be too generous, such as allowing Vegas Strip BJ on 5x bonus alone! I would rather they saw this coming rather than have to deliver players a nasty surprise when they spotted problems. They now exclude all BJ from some of the more generous promotions, but have left the WR at 5x, great with VP!
