Casino Complaint Casino Rewards won't refund my money.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I'll chime in with it anyway.

I don't use VBV, but I do have the Mastercard equivalent (3D SecureCode).

I have played at the following casinos/casino groups....

32Red Group
Fortune Lounge Group
All Jackpots and All Slots
Spin Casino
Gala Casino
Bet365
BETAT
Casino Rewards Group

CR is the only one out of the above that does NOT use 3D Secure Code.

IMO, CR Group (and indeed any other casino/casino group that does not use VBV or 3D SecureCode) needs to be taking a look
at why they seemingly want to make it easier for deposits to go through due to their policy of allowing this extra security
barrier to be skipped.

Thank you!

Thank you. You've seen the flaw too on their end of things. They're not secure enough.

Mr. Brindle

You are in some regards correct sir, although the NI card is not proof of identification as printed on the card. Anyway his benefits etc get paid into my parents bank. Wouldn't have the foggiest idea where his birth certificate etc is as we've moved many times over the years.

We'll sort it out and I'll chalk it up to plum stupidity. Again thanks for the input sir.

Mr. Brindle.

ask ur parents which council he was born in, ring them up and they will send u a birth certificiate 2 ur current home address for a small fee

I don't think that is going to cut it from the casino's end. If what he is saying is true, I would not be posting on a gambling forum, I would be contacting the authorities. The first stop would be the licensing jurisdiction: Kahnawake:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

They are simply one of the most responsive and fair when it comes to player issues. Give them a shout.

From there, my suggestion to Mr.Brindle would be to get legal counsel. At the moment, this is a waste of time because all we can do is speculate on what happened.

Thank you. How does this work?

Thank you, how does this work? I've never had to deal with a company like this so am unsure.

You can submit a complaint to them here:

They in turn will contact the casino in question and find out what can be done - if anything. Good luck!

Thank you! This thread can be locked to avoid any more people getting involved. Again thanks to everyone that helped.

Mr. Brindle.

Ok skimmed the tread.

First of all, im a uk resident, the op's posts about needing id to open a bank account is quite correct, i read someone said that a bcert and NI number is enough, im surprised if this is true, but it well could be, doubt they would offer you credit due to this, but even still, possible.

now lets talk about verified by visa, or vbv, i have this on my card, you go to make a deposit at a casino and it asks you for a password, the op's post outlines this as a massive negative, if someone has access to your bank card its fair to assume they might know said password.

and finally, from an industry point of view, i work for a casino that doesn't offer VBV, we allow you to register and deposit using a card in a different name, and ideally you'll lose, reason being well ask you to provide proof you had permission to use the card, this is date of birth information ( bcert, D/l, passport ), address information ( letter dated in the last 3 months from an official source, government, council ect ) and proof of the card, that's a picture of the front of the card showing minimum first 4 and last 4 digits of the card used. #

Lets say you deposited £5 from that card 3 months back and lost, but have now deposited from your own card and won £2000, well give it you, but we need those documents before we do. Fell out with the person? Tough. Ex partner? Tough. Someone that has moved/you no longer speak to/ wont provide the pictures? Tough.

If you read this post and take nothing from it apart from this statement that's fine. DO NOT USE ANYONE ELE'S BANK CARD the drama caused is not worth it, get them to transfer you the money first and deposit in your own name, might take 10 mins extra but will save voids and other issues down the road.

this isnt to say im not empathetic to the ops post, i speak to people monthly in the same boat, however, the reason this has all sprung up is due to whatever casino it is, outlined that id will be required at some point ( says some point, means withdrawal ) your brother signed these terms, im sympathetic to your circumstance, but on the other hand if this story is true you should have let your brother deal with it himself, hes a grown man.

Well, just as I suspected - the OP is full of shit.

I've been in contact with the casino rep, and she has explained to me what has transpired, and it's your usual case of some guy trying to dispute his transactions.

And to bolster these findings, I took the liberty of checking out this guy's social networking profiles (it's pretty easy to do with simply an email address). This guy is on twitter, and a number of other places. He's been self-excluded from Ladbrokes (admitted this at Twitter), nothing about a brother - nothing about living with his parents, but a bit about playing the fruit machines, and numerous other activities.

This story becomes a bit convoluted, but I'll just cut it short by saying if it walks like a duck...well, you know what I mean.

By the way, his casino accounts were open until he disputed the charges. And they only wanted him to identify himself - which he won't. He (the OP) actually told them over the phone that he would not send in his birth certificate, not that he didn't have one.

And he also mentioned that he would do anything to get his money back.

And the OP has a number of accounts there.

The bottom line is - don't come to CM and try to bullshit your way out of a problem. Stop gambling and get help.

Actually, I've been told that if you are in the UK, you are to submit your complaint to Malta. But that's for our non-fraudster members :p

i expected as much as any normal person would of froze or cancelled there credit card account if this was going on.
i had a mate who had to freeze a joint account due to excess gambling by the other person
there needs to be a wall of shame thread for the dodgy ones

This is what I thought all along that it was a bullssst story to get funds lost by him paid back. Cant be without some measure of sympathy for the OP as it sounds like he is in quite deep with a gambling addiction! And trying any desperate measure to get his funds back. Would be better he focus his time on reaching out and getting the help he obviously needs. Gamecare / Gamblingtherapy and such like. Fine organizations to help people struggling with such addictions. Dont make what he tried to do right - and yes the Casino absolutely did the right thing as did CM in blocking him here. Goes to show though what people will try when desperate

While I understand this was "solved" already, the whole premise to me seems kind of strange.

I mean, even if hypothetically the entire story was true, why would the casino be to blame? His brother is the one that committed the fraud, it's not really important where he spends it. Of course it would be an amazing show of goodwill from the casino if things like these were absolutely proven and they'd pony up, but they wouldn't owe the money. The brother would.

My brother wouldn't have no go anywhere near 12k in fraud/theft on my person for me to just flat out rat him to the police and get him as far as prison unless everything is fixed immediately. Perhaps that's just me.
