Baptism by Fire Casino Rewards Group - Fast Tracked

I can see both sides of this:
Personally I think Casino Rewards is a fine upstanding operator who will NOT jerk their genuine players around and have a top class representative on the forum.
She won't post on the forum due to a senior management directive, but she is always available to sort out issues privately via PMs.

And yes they DO send out far to many promotional e-mails, which can be construed as "spam". I did actually stop promoting this group for about 2 years because of this, but when Renee explained in detail what their e-mailing policy was, I started listing them again in November 2013.
My only wish is that they would review and reduce the amount of e-mails they send out, because there ARE too many.

Overall though, I think they deserve to be accredited, and I welcome this decision!

Personally, I've never regarded their billions of email offers for new players only as spam. There are something it opted into the day I first joined a CR casino. If it doesnt' have my account number or says for new players only, takes little time to discard it.

While it has not happened to me, since I'm down quite a bit over the past years, what I do have a problem with is them "locking" reward points.

It's all fine and dandy to prevent a player from c.laiming bonuses. But sometimes it's loyalty points, some players save them up. Or they get an offer and their points are credited, but they cannot redeem them.

If a player no longer qualifies for bonuses, then this should be more upfront, rather than entice them to deposit with a bonus offer and sorry, you can't redeem it.

Well, you can redeem it, but maybe or maybe not we will release your bonus points at some future date in time.

My best advice is if you have bonus points redeemable, redeem them. It could all change if you have a big cashout.

This is not based on personal experience, but years of reading here at CM.

But I've had overall good experiences myself, lots of free chips and attractive match offers. Given the length of time I've been playing, I'm only one good cashout away from being in the black.

Quality of live support is very good. Much better than five years ago.

Pending time is longer than some accredited casinos, you know yourself better than I do.

I've never needed Renee's help myself, but I've seen her help many players over the years. We've exchanged a few PM's when I thought an issue needed her help.

Bonus rules change, always read them first. But I don't see anything untoward in my last deposit a couple of weeks ago. They do have a max bet that they didn't used to have, but a reasonable one.

Just because a casino is accredited here doesn't mean you have to play at it. Different strokes for different folks.

If so then you should be able to opt-out from the emails aswell. I tried that some years ago, to no help at all. The emails kept coming and coming. I contacted cs 5-10 times and they served me a bunch of lies that they couldn't help, or would say that unsubscribed me just for the emails to come back within a week.

The way I got it stopped was by contacting Renee here. And she did indeed do a very good job, but I feel it's a bit to late then..

This casino group tried to pull a stunt on a won progressive once also? he won major millions and they tried to pay him in instalments? I am sure bryan got involved, but not sure what the outcome was?

I too get spammed daily with these lot.

Pleased to hear Casino Rewards have been fast tracked. This is the only brand of casinos I high-roll at because I know that I will be paid without any funny business.

I do have one question however, half of the casinos listed above forward to Luxury Casino. This has only started happening recently even though they are fully UK licensed. Any reason?

Nothing more sinister than broken website links Nicola. At least that is what I was told by someone in live chat when I reported the issue a few months ago and asked if it was being dealt with. They said they would pass it onto their tech team. Several weeks later, I found that no such fix had occurred. And it still hasn't been dealt with, as I just checked a few minutes ago. You may remember that thread a couple of months ago about the Flash Player updates causing Viper Download clients to not load. Well, I prematurely uninstalled all of my Viper Download casinos. Then when someone here suggested a workaround, I went to CR's website to download them all again. And that's when I discovered the broken links problem. When I went to re-install the Casino Rewards casinos, I found about half (13 or 14?) would direct me to Luxury Casino.

However, I did get speaking to someone who was able to e-mail me the full list of direct download links for all the CR Group casinos and I was able to get them all downloaded.

CR really need to get that sorted out. I'm no web expert, but surely a dozen or so broken links can be fixed in fairly short order? That's a lot of potential signups they could risk losing

LOL - that was years ago. He was paid in one lump sum. And if you are receiving "spam", please check to see if it's from an affiliate (more than likely), or perhaps you joined one of their casinos in the past (likely). Just unsubscribe if it doesn't look dodgy.

For old websites (like CM for instance), broken links are a pain in the ass. Casinomeister has gone though perhaps four or five template changes in 18 years, plus we switched from .html pages to .php pages in 2006, so yes there are a ton of bad links here. If a website is new - then yeah, broken links can be a sign of sloppiness. If a site is older than ten years, then broken links may be a challenge.

I do have to add, after reading Jassy's post that it has triggered something which may help.

I am currently able to accept points, deposit offers etc but unable to exchange then due to 'Temporary Suspension'

Now they've been suspended for a few deposits now and quite a decent bit of playtime/wagering (which I'm told are the main criteria, 'risking your deposits')

I am slightly 'behind' overall as I checked so its nothing to do with this as others may have mentioned in older threads on this subject.

I LOVE a good MG Download session, my point, re-instate the points a lot easier and you will see many more deposits from me, good business practice in general IMO.

Appreciate there are many more in this boat so VERY good business practice I would have thought!

Totally understand that this cannot be done for all and is in place to banish the freebie and bonus abusers but small fish as myself and other genuine players are not going to do any 'major damage'

With all the competition out there now and other MG only providers with much better reputations, multi provider sites etc etc I would have thought that CR would want to pull out 'all the stops' especially with things which can be controlled/ worked upon.

Looks like they may have already with this step out of the blue towards accreditation ;) lets hope the only way is up!

John, one of the reasons my points account is suspended is because I am in lifetime profit across the whole group. Now they swear blind it's nothing to do with that. Unfortunately the timing of each suspension directly coincided with my going from having "lifetime losses" to having "lifetime profit".

There is another thing. They say that the suspension may be a precaution against promotional abuse. I can tell you that at least my last SEVENTY deposits at CR have come without taking a bonus. Hardly a case of promotional abuse is it? They will keep telling me, "oh you just need to keep demonstrating that you are prepared to risk your own money and then your suspension will be lifted". So apparently, at least 70 deposits in a row without having taken any bonus is NOT a sufficient demonstration of that.

To be honest, I expect CR's stance regarding VIP points redemption privileges (and suspensions of those privileges) will remain unchanged, even if they do become accredited. They can justify that by saying that it's their way of preventing themselves getting exposed to multi-accounting fraudsters. Which is fair enough. But it's really bad form on their part to send you a weekly e-mail offering you a deposit match bonus when you already know you won't be able to use it.

And don't get me started on their highly dubious "reversal bonus" e-mails. Which only seem to show up when you request a withdrawal in excess of £250. It's like they are trying to say "we would prefer it if you were dumb enough to blow your winnings". To me, THAT is something that needs addressed. Sending e-mails that are attempting to encourage the reversal of withdrawals is in very bad taste, bordering on plain unethical.

I've not played at a Casino Rewards site for some time now, reason I will list below and by the look of it, reasons they've not changed to make me want to go back there.

These have all been previously stated by other posters but they also apply to me.

Redemption of points, I have thousands of points on my account that I am unable to claim. Years ago I was told this was because I had to risk my own money (Am I not doing that when I'm claiming deposit bonuses anyway?). I since made a hell of a lot of deposits with no bonus. I'm still unable to clear those points, I believe to me being in lifetime profit as just mentioned. If they don't like winners, don't open a casino.

The endless levels of spam I could probably handle IF I was able to claim some of the offers that I'm constantly sent, but I get about 10 emails a week for offers I am simply unable to even take part in. This is so easy to cross reference and make sure that those emails don't go out.

On the plus side, I've never had any cash out issue that I can remember and I do love MG download so that in itself is a bonus, but for me when I log in and see the loyalty points I have accrued but am unable to claim it leaves a sour taste so I won't be trying them again.

Cheers Marty!

70 Cash only deposits and STILL BB'ed :eek:

......and there was me going to send today's deposit their way after reading parts of this thread!

I have about £30-£40 worth of points in my CR account, something tells me the day I 'retire' from this malarky I will still have £30-£40 worth!

Shame cos I have full choice of bonuses on most my fave slots there but I won't play in casinos where the 'heating is broken and they won't even offer to lend you a coat!'

AHAHAHA CR :notworthy:notworthy it tells a lot! it tells a lot! I don't think I can share here how I got rid of their MAIL spam (in addidtion to e-mail spam!) !

Got told by Renee that the spam is from promoters for CR casinos, they send promo mails without knowing if you already had taken the offer. Never mind that since i got help to remove some, havent checked the mail now but big thanks to Renee and did recieve my withdrawal after the 48h pending time no delay what so ever. Gonna continue my playin next week at a CR casino. Now off for some beer and people jeez cant live like a subhuman stuck playing at casinos all life :-D

Yes but the spam is for the initial deposit offers demonj, like the 2000% offers at Zodiac and Nostalgia. I was referring to CR's own weekly deposit match offer which they automatically send out, which is something entirely different. I don't get any spam at all now myself (and haven't done for over a year), thanks to Renee's help.

As for getting paid after the 48h pending, I've had very few problems. And the ones I did have, they eventually got sorted. Now that I have got NETELLER, I have zero problems anymore.

They are a good casino group, however if I was to critique it having been a member of 18 of them and having got to diamond loyalty a couple of times I would like to say what sucks:

1) Pending period is an absolute joke, when are they going to catch up with the competition
2) A few times in live chat they completely ignore your deposit limits and try to push there deposit bonuses in your face even when you have told them you have meet you deposit limit set in responsible gambling section
3) The difference between being bronze and diamond was almost zilch, bonuses were barely any better and there spill about the chances of winning there 8 hourly giveaway being improved is farcial as you still got bugger all chance of winning.
4) Spam, Spam, Spam!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To balance it, the good:

1) Great way to pay out bonuses as you don't have to tie any of your deposit into the deposit and can choose to redeem the bonus at your pleasure, therefore at these casinos your silly if you don't take the bonus
2) If you just choose to play once a month you are almost guaranteed to get a 125% bonus as they 'miss you and want you back'
3) When the slots are torturing you and you go 1000's of spins without jack rabbit they are normally very good at dishing out large no deposit chips (unlike everyone's love child 32red who wont give you a dime for your riches unless you take the dish of the day)
4) Its microgaming and its downloadable, I love to hate microgaming but they are generally the best bar WMS that is

I can't play at CR because I'm Australian but I do know a little about them by their reputation.
Maybe their policies have changed since, but I'm told that they don't like people taking SUBS at multiple casinos. If you do they bonus ban you.

To my mind this practice is above board; they are doing nothing wrong. But, I think people deserve to be warned about it.
My advice would be to stick to 1 or 2 casinos in the group. I think this would decrease the probability of problems occurring.

I recall reading that as well. That does not sound above board to me.

If they want to limit how many bonus offers any one player can claim they should be required to provide those limits in the t&cs, just my opinion.

Anyway, I do play there once in a while (even if it is nowhere near as often as it used to be as they where one of the first casinos I played at), never had any problems with them, however I rarely claim bonus offers, regardless of where it is.

Dont know what this group is doing. I had played at most of their casinos but over the past 2 years I hadnt touched them. Sometimes they say they welcome me and I can log in but sometimes they say I am from a restricted jurisdiction. Very confusing.

My only caution to players is, if you like bonuses, forget CR. You'll be rocking along just fine, taking a bonus here and there and then you can't access your bonus account. And they will continue to send you bonus offers, putting even free monies into your bonus account that you cannot access. Unless they've changed over the past few years, they also will not tell you what/how to get that bonus account unlocked, other than to say 'just play without bonuses for awhile'. Mine was never unlocked, and I rarely ever took a bonus even before they locked it. Just don't use their bonuses or expect to use your comp points/credits if you do.

I fully expect to see 'I can't get to my bonus at CR!' complaints to increase.

Other than that, I always thought they were top notch.

CR isn't my fav place. I think their even on the Blacklist of another portal I frequently browse.

But in my opinion they DO deserve to be accredited. I probably won't ever hold them to the same standard as 32red, but few others can reach that either.

I suspect that if your a losing or very high risk/variance player, you will love CR because they will continue sending you bonuses and you'll even get sent nice goodies in the mail.

In short, losers/high-risk players will luv em, lucky/advantage players will not like them.....That's my observation!

I'm not sure if I've ever made a deposit to a CR casino without a bonus and my deposits, although small, have been numerous. If I recall correctly at one point they told me I have to wait a day or two to claim more welcome bonuses as I was going down the list of CR casinos one after another. I waited the few days and kept claiming more welcome offers. Occasionally they email me for 100-150% deposit bonuses or a 20$ NDB which I've usually taken. They've also sent snail mail with 20-50$ NDBs and deposit offers. All in all I've certainly claimed way more bonus money than I've made deposits on CR and they haven't bonus banned me so far. If they didn't have the 48h pending period I might play more often. No big complaints from me.

I signed up at a couple of their casinos some years back.
Made a deposit at one, or possibly two, took a SUB, made a withdrawal, and was then told I'd need to make a bonus-free deposit before i was eligible for the SUB at any of their other casinos.
But I can't remember which one's I signed up to or made deposits at, and I'm not downloading them all to try and find out, lol

Signed up today and my comments are:

(1) The download client is very stable compared to 32red
(2) I had to wait about 15 minutes for the welcome bonus to be added. Don't understand why it can't be added immediately?
(3) Had the first spam email already - not needed thank you very much so have unsubscribed and deleted the casino from my computer
