Casino Reps who wont respond

There is nothing like a casino rep that wont respond. It sucks when you spend a bunch of money and a rep is way to lazy and wont make the attempt to respond. Its happened to me on numerous occasions with a few reps in particular. You may ask, why do you think they are being too lazy? Well when I see the rep having recent activity, and you get the read receipt back, you know you are being ignored. Its sometimes mind boggling that these reps, who are also , managers, owners , officers have the audacity to think they do not need to do their job on a daily basis. I lose tons of respect for the casino when it happens. When I talk about this I am not talking about it happening once or twice. I am talking about reps that have a pattern of doing this on a consistent basis.

Everyone has a pile on their plate. But a reply of some sort should be issued in a couple of days most times.

If you have reps that consistently fail to respond, I think you should let CM know.

I know people take holidays from time to time, but someone should be stepping in to cover, even if it's to send a response that the rep is on holiday and will back to you on such-and-such a date.

I would love to give my opinion but know I'm skating on thin ice since I've been labeled a habitual whiner, habitual vandal, and a troll, and confirmed by ten members including Bryan.

Agreed. I would love to hear your opinion 4oak, since I happen to share a lot of your opinions, and I couldn't imagine anyone would hold your opinion against you, in a free, democratic world with freedom of speech.
Of the bat, MY opinion about reps who won't respond to specific questions is, that they don't give a flying rats..., so they, AND their outfits are basicly not worth your time, or money...

Agreed, if you ever want to change your avatar image, a friend of mine captured this shot while traveling this year. :D

Sorry for the derail OP.

Your troubles with Bryan and us mods are for exactly the reasons you stated: troll behaviour, which is not a joke by the way. I get the sense you're trying to belittle our position on this, not a smart move nor a step in the right direction.

As I'm sure you are aware, reporting a non-responsive Rep is a whole different matter and is highly unlikely to jeopardize the "thin ice".

Hey BMW, why not name the casino who's rep is not responding - if one of my reps behaved liked that (apart from a serious reason like a death in the family or Fulham FC lost), they would be for a 'big talking to' - all reps (if they are even bothering to look) should take note!!!!

Then I need to know.

Will you please just knock it off. Your "Wo is me - I'm going to be a martyr on an Internet forum" behaviour is absolutely silly, and it's really getting tiresome. That's being a troll.

.

It has happened to me twice that casino reps on this forum has not replied on my PM.

Both of them are represented by the Casino Manager here. The first issue was regarding Polish players. I asked the rep why they offer Polish players bonuses with 200 X B+D WR. No reply.

The second issue was regarding US players. I asked the rep if their casino accepted US players (I had just wrote a critical commentary about US-friendly casinos in a relevant thread and was a bit unsure if they had stopped taking US players). I was quite surprised when I did not get any reply from this rep since the casino is highly admired on this forum.

If I treated my clients this way I will be given a kick in the butt. It is common courtesy to acknowledge the pm by replying you will look into the issue and then giving an expected time frame as to when you are likely to revert. I was frustrated when some reps didnt answer my pms only to find that the pms were not sent because my quota had been exceeded without me knowing it.

In my opinion, at any given time of day...
If you scroll down to see who has logged into the forum, you will see numerous casino reps who have logged in. Whether it be to read PMs, to peruse the forum, whatever reason...As I am typing this 16 reps have logged in so far this morning. How many have interacted on the forum? How many members have received PMs from any casino rep before 8:25 AM EDT?

A while back I did a thread about T&Cs for the accredited casinos listed here on casinomeister. I did a separate rep friendly thread asking the casino reps how often they reviewed and edited their T&Cs. The ONLY rep who replied was PlexRep (miss his interaction ;)), it's a shame only a handful are willing to be involved.

I know it is frustrating not to have a rep reply, it has happened to me too. But, I have had a rep who didn't reply for almost week, then when he did reply, he apologized so many times for not getting back to me sooner, but he was on vacation. I do understand that these reps are human, and have a life, so I don't have with a problem with that, my problem is just like what was stated in the other posts, when the reps log in and read your PM and do nothing about it.

It only takes a minute to reply with something like, I got your PM, give me a day or 2 to look into this. Or something to acknowledge your PM, so you don't feel like your being ignored. I don't really think that is to much to ask.

I started this thread and did not want to mention any particulars . The lack of communication will not endanger anyones ability to retrieve their money at any of the casinos. If in any way shape or form I felt that there was more of a problem I would let Brian know right away. I intended to start the thread to see everyone elses feelings, and see if anyone else has these type of problems.

Obviously, you are not alone & I can attest that this has happened to me before on 3 ocassions.

The first one, the rep had received 3 seprate pms from me in reference to a withdraw issue. The rep never personally responded via pm, instead vaguely communicated in a forum thread and addressed the issue. I was miffed, but the issue was resolved and smooth sailing since. Btw, one of these pms was a follow up question that was not addressed, but I did get my answer via support.

The other pms to another rep posed questions that were not of a pertinent nature, so I patiently waited, knowing the rep had checked into the forum on numerous ocassions. Still no answers, so I picked up the phone or shot off an email and eventually got the answers I was seeking.

I get the feeling that some of them just see us as a bunch of whiny complaining pia's who they feel the need to pacify occasionally with a response.

But without the players, they wouldn't have jobs as there wouldn't be any cash flowing into their casinos...Sure, there will always be the one person who will be the "thorn", but the legitimate players shouldn't be made to feel as if they are second rate "citizens". By penalizing one with silence they are hurting everyone. Not very good business PR, IMO.

I agree with you 100%!

Around here, silence is NOT golden. :)

I suppose if they could see it in black and white and on their bottom line, then it would become real. Just like AnnieMac's thread about failure to acknowledge birthdays affects their bottom line, I don't think they get it.

I try to keep track of who is monitoring the forum and who isn't. The accred casinos need to have someone here on a regular basis - and if they are not responding to PMs I need to know. I can't fix something if I don't know if it's broken.

As for the non-accred casinos, there are quite a few who are digilant on participating here, and some who kind of fall off the radar. I try to keep track of this by periodically sending out mass PMs to these folks. If they don't log in to view the PMs, then I know something is amiss. If it goes on a few times, I dormanate the account.

When you go to an I-reps page, there's a visitor message page visible. It would only take reps a moment to leave a note to say I'm on holidays until xx/xx. I've often seen such notes.

I realize sometimes emergencies happen, but for scheduled breaks, this would avoid players thinking they had been dodged.

I think we need to remember that as regulars here, many visiting every day, we may have a different perspective to that of the average casino rep, who may appreciate the value of interaction, but has a host of other duties (and maybe other websites) that need to be monitored and cultivated.

I would imagine that CM is probably in the top 5 of any sites a rep needs to check regularly, especially in view of the fact that Bryan has made interaction both easy and practical for the reps, and the moderators are fair and reasonable.

I therefore find it strange when reps do not engage with players here on issues troubling them as individuals or as a group...that sort of interaction makes the solution of problems much easier at an early stage, serving the interests of both parties, after all. And being present and communicative gives both the rep and his casino a more human face and helps keep contentious topics in perspective, giving balance to discussions.

There is also the important question of professionalism; it is both amateurish and discourteous to disregard business communications, and that's something that many online organisations and individuals apparently have yet to learn.

Agreed, I have had similar issues in the past. The rep reads the PM and I send another one after 3 days asking for a response and I eventually need to contact Live Support to tell them Answer my friggin PM...

Anyways ... I would be interested to know who these reps are in your experience.

Nate
