Dormant account
I have recently signed up with Golden Palace and won a few pounds. To be able to get my winnings the accounts dept say I should scan my credit card front and back and send this info to them first before any money can be sent out. Is this normal ?

Yes. (For all 'dodgy' outfits!)

How did you deposit?
I'm interested to know, because I was thinking of signing up there myself, but have been put off slightly by bad stories about GP on the boards.
I would use Neteller, but am not sure if they will ask for fax info if I do this. Anyone know??

I faxed my CC to several RTG's years ago (when I was a beginner), only once did someone rip-off my info and try to purchase a computer with my card details. Luckily the vendor was suspicious & contacted me. But I had to cancel the card of course, which was a pain in the ass. :(

Only if you deposited using a credit card.

I agree with KK that knowing how you deposited is essential to answer this question. If you used NETeller (or Firepay, or whatever else), DO NOT send them copies of your credit card. The only time casinos need this is if a credit card was the option you chose to deposit money into your casino account.

GP the most bizarre management around, I have heard of people not getting paid and it takes forever but they have always paid me in a timely manner and I have never had issues with them, now saying that I am to afraid to play there anymore because of all the horror stories. Thay have great sign up bonuses and minimal playthroughs but I think you could find safer Playtechs to deposit your money.

To answer your question I did deposit using credit card - are GP a well established and reputable site?
I doubt that GP will not want to pay you since you're not the BIG TIME gambler and etc. A few quids might be good publicity for them. Anyway, my suggestion is that you give them what they want. They are kinda big to do all the silly stunts and to sponsor a lot of National Events.
GP has not given me any problems in the past and I doubt that GP will be giving me any soon. Anyway, do give it to them and I'm sure they'll be more than happy to process your cashout as soon as they get the Docs.

If you send them all the ID they ask for you should be paid in 2-4 weeks. For such a big casino group they are perhaps the most inefficient and most unresponsive support and securtiy departments. IMO they are so worried about chargebacks that they offer possibly the slowest first cashout process in the industry.

If I were you I'd find a better casino in which to frequent. There are far more well run operations listed in the recommended casino area of this site.

And a little FYI, the Golden Palace Group stole from a number of players in the past as well as offering physical threats to such players way back in the day. Perhaps this is old news but to me still warrants a no play against this group no matter how far they claim to have come.

Cheers
