New idea from 888 as far as I can see.

They emailed me yesterday with a username and password to try out the new venture with £10 free spins for roulette

After much messing about and having to reset my password just to log in, I got there.

Looks just like the rest of the 888 casino's

Used my roulette bonus, got £13

Went onto slots, got some good bonus rounds, got to £200 no where near wagering requirements yet, so though I would sack it off till today.

Went just now to log in and I just get a message saying ' We have been unable to log you in, contact support '

Oh well that lasted all of and hour last night, dont even think I'll bother e-mailing.

Be careful, This is a Cassava Enterprise casino, If you have taken bonuses at their other casinos your wasting your time as they will most likely deny winnings whether or not you or they opened the casino account.

Rainmaker had a thread similar where an account was opened for him at a different casino in the group and I thought that they had stopped this practice.

Just thought I would warn you and don't be surprised if they shaft you mate.

Cheers
Matt

Not so. This could be their "gotcha" moment.

After the lengthy discussion about this, the rep assured us that if 888 opened an account for a player and sent them the details, the player would NOT have their winnings then confiscated simply for using the account sent to them.

This case seems to demonstrate that the rep lied about this, and that players ARE just as likely to get screwed when 888 opens an account on their behalf than when they open the accounts themselves, and it is deemed as "abusive" by 888 to have so many accounts at so many sites.

This promise was extracted from the rep when it was shown that not only were 888 opening accounts for players, but that they were so incompetent that they were opening accounts for players at sites they already had accounts at, and thus giving them 2 or more accounts at the same site. 888 refused to stop the practice, and were thus removed from the accredited list.

This case is important because if the OP had NOT got their balance up to 200, they may well have been able to deposit and play so long as they were losing, but face their account getting locked later on if they eventually won. There may be other players who were sent preopened accounts in this new venture, but who did not win right away, but face their accounts getting locked like the OP if they do eventually win.

This seems to show that things at 888 have actually got WORSE than they were when this marketing practice first came to light. Not only are they breaking the promises made at the time, but they have failed to make sure that there is proper vetting of players before they are sent these accounts, so that ONLY the players they are prepared to pay if they win get awarded these accounts.

Just a small update, I seem to be able to log in now.

Will try and meet wagering requirements tonight and see what the withdraw process entails

It's a £250 max cashout, So higher than some others.

Met playthrough with £180 left.

Thought I would have a bash at reaching the £250 max cashout, and it was as if someone turned off the switch that allows you to win.

Completely different casino once wagering was met, long drawn out spins, no wins, not a single win for £50 on one slot.

Bored, money gone, casino deleted.

More rubbish from 888

Yup, it looks like they threw the win switch on you alright.

They shouldn't be allowed to get away with it...cheating is what it is.

You should have withdrawn the £180. This would have demonstrated whether they were going to screw you over, or pay you. Now we will never know. You were dead lucky to turn £10 into £180, so playing the £180 down to zero was actually the norm when trying to attain a higher target.

You still have no explanation as to why your account seemed to get locked out for a spell.

I have no explenation to give?

I was able to log in, I got 2 emails from support, one was to tell me I had problems signing in (no shit, i hadn't noticed) and the other was to ask me to give them my, username, password, address, telephone number, shore size, waist size etc etc

But by the time I recieved the second mail I was able to log in :what:
