CASINO ON NET

I hate to crash the Casino-on-Net bashing party but my wife made a new player deposit of $1000 on 1/15/2000, got her $200 bonus, got a random $50 bonus, won $75 gambling on $2000 total bet in blackjack, cashed out, and was paid very promptly. Of course I'm not disputing the bad experiences others have had. I can't speak about them ignorring e-mails since we never sent any.

I got a $25 bonus from cas-o-met. Ran it up to $100 and cashed out. Should rec. $100 check soon.

casino on net also continues to charge your card even when you dispute the nauthorized charges by them and furthermore is somehow able to force charges thru on even some closed accounts (closed because of their activity) I also found out certain online merchants can actally do this , however its usually an ongoing type of charge that falls into to this catagory, i.e., aol bill or membership type of charges.
This whole concept bothered me when I learned of it, but if dishonest merchants can somehow fool the electronic processing systems into thinking their fraudulent charges can be forced thru...then where does the stealing end... as it was Casino-on-net nailed my debit card ... another tough lesson learned , because debit card disputes are very tought to recover from, and those jerks got a lot of my money.
Here was a weird test I tried, and sure enough proved me right... I tried to process a charge on casino on net on my old debit card number, a catrd reported as STOLEN. Guess what I got an approval, and was able to charge several other deposits and guess what else... the charges did indeed get paid! I am now in communication with the fraud department of my bank which was able to recover so far over 2000 dollars. (not even half yet) so I would like to know how they managed to process a card that no where else I tried it would work??? Just a little info for anyone who cares

Hi Peanut Butter,

I was playing BJ on Casino-on-Net for about a month and got very frustrated at what seemed like unfair shuffles/counts. I rarely hit a double down or split even when the count was very favorable and the dealer almost always pulled a natural 21 versus mine. I had only about $40 left in my account so I decided to waste it on their slot machine since I had never played it. I was betting max credits ($3) and hit the jackpot of $1500. Needless to say I was pretty shocked. I cashed out and requested a check payout. Much to my surprise, I received a check for the full amount about 5 weeks later.

Well, CON will pay out IF you a one of the few winners....but they still insist on charging back your charge card (s) first. Even if you close a charge card account, they will deposit any winnings to the closed account, and refuse to deviate from this policy! I still cant understand why Casinomeister endorses them!!

Hey Anon,

Posts like yours really get my goat. Number one, we have yet to endorse Casino-on-net, but we are now in the process of doing so. They were one of the few casinos that were blacklisted here that I received mailings from players stating that they had excellent treatment from their customer service, fair games, quick payouts, etc.

For payouts, of course they're going to charge back your charge card first. This is standard procedure for most any casino. If a charge account has been closed, isn't it the players responsibility to update their account with the casino? They would probably need to contact the casino, close the old account, and open a new one.

Before spouting off here, do your research. Thanks!

I've just received this from Casino-on-net:

Dear HK Jaeggi,

In response to your Casinomeister posting I would like to share the
following information with you.
In our Blackjack game we use 4 decks of cards, which are reshuffled
after each hand. This is a standard practice for most, if not all,
on-line casinos. The randomness of the cards dealt is assured by the
Random Number Generator. This is another piece of software used by most
casinos, be they on-line or land-based (in video poker, slot machines
and any other digital games). To independently guarantee the integrity
of the software and fairness of the game, we have retained the services
of Ernst & Young, one of the world's largest accounting firms, to audit
our payout ratios.
Now, let's take a look into your personal history with Casino-on-Net.
Since you have been with us you have deposited $xxxx (ed. note: I've x'd the amounts to protect the privacy of the player) and cashed out
$xxxx. Even without taking into account your $xxxx jackpot win, with
$xxxx in net deposits you were able to wager $xxxx. This brings your
personal payout ratio to 97.7%. If we rightly take into account your
total history with us, your personal payout ratio is 103.6%.
Regarding your surprise about receiving your funds, let me assure you
that with over 700,000 members worldwide, Casino-on-Net has never failed
to payout. It took 5 weeks to receive your funds because you have
selected to be paid by a bank draft, which is mailed using postal
services of two countries that are not controlled by us. As you may have
noticed, there was no charge for paying you out. We cover all the
charges.
Thank you for the opportunity to explain. Your satisfaction is very
important. Please contact us whenever we may be of further assistance.
We are here for you 24 hours a day, everyday.

Regards,
Justin Hayem

Dear All,

Just received this message from Casino-on-net:

Dear Bryan,

Since we don't have the address of the Anonymous, we can't check his claim and respond to him.
However, I would like to explain our policy concerning closed or canceled cards.
As soon as a customer informs us that his credit card is closed, the Transactions Department updates our records accordingly and makes sure that no further deposits will be accepted from this card.
We also check if there is still a remaining balance on the card.
In case there is, we call the issuing bank in order to assure that credits could still be received by the card owner.
Usually the member still have an active account with the bank, so the funds are transferred automatically to their other account. In other cases the bank simply issues a check for the credit amount.
Once the bank states that the customer will not be able to receive the funds, we close the card for further credits as well.
Anyway, in order to accommodate the customer's request, we credit first the other cards, if any, (until their balance is cleared) and notify the customer that this closed card will be used for credits only as a last resort.
We follow this policy in order to avoid fraudulent transactions. By crediting the card, we can guarantee that the real card holder receives the funds.
As to Anonymous' comment about "IF you a one of the few winners", let me assure everyone that we have hundreds of winners and payout hundreds of thousands of dollars every day. One of the reasons we have over 700,000 members is that we approach every case individually and make every conceivable effort to keep our members satisfied.
Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Ruth Kitts

Yeah, re-read the above message again!! Even if you have told them that your account was cancelled, they will STILL try to charge back any withdraw...I had requested that any payouts be sent via draft or check, but they ignored me.....they are NOT trying to provide " customer satisfaction", they are trying to satisfy the credit card companys!!! Listen to us, CON, you should follow the CUSTOMERS requests, not the CC companys!

This is a grey area; certain casinos believe they legally must credit a customers closed account (as long as the bank will still allow credits to go through). Other casinos will just send a check directly to the customer. Both methods are legit, but from a customer service standpoint, sending a check directly from the casino makes the most sense.

Some banks can take up to 2 months to send a check to the cust for the credits to thier closed account. The reason is usually that a bank's internal auditing department needs to verify everything.

When a customer requests a check, why not just satisfy the customer, rather than keep him/her waiting and waiting?

There are numerous online casinos that don't credit a cust's total purchases back to the card, and only send checks. Two good examples are Bossmedia and Lasseters.

As for Casino-On-Net, Its initials are C.O.N.
C.O.N. = CON
CON CON CON

They refused to send me audit trails of my gameplay and that of a friend. I lost over 20 consecutive plays at BJ. This is the worst consecutive losing run I've ever had. I have serious doubts of the intergrity of Random Logic software, although it is still within the realm of possibility that the games are fair and I just had horrible luck.

Yanni from this forum lost 25 consective reds at Roulette playing a C.O.N. This is statistically significant since it breaks the Guiness Book of Wrold records which stands at 23 in a row for longest consective run.

Still, Random Logic ignored us. No audit trails.

Despite these problems, I have heard from numerous sources that Casino-On-Net's cust service has substantially improved recently. Maybe management has changed for the better. But I'll take a wait and see attitude. As far as payments go, C.O.N. is good at paying its customers (albeit after a ridiculous 5 day period + 2-3 more days to process and then another 2 weeks to receive checks.)

Attn: Dave R
I think you are starting to get the message that CON is sending....yes , they will pay off, but on their OWN terms.....hmmm, no audit trail reports? I wonder why....but I think you (and many others) are beginning to understand that Casino-on Net is really a CON!!! It is best to avoid this place until they change their policies!

My wife and I Played on the casino (

) on 01/20/2001 and deposited and lost $200.00. The deposit was accepted and no incident arose over the loss. Some time later we logged on again and deposited $300.00 and after playing awhile managed to win $5050.00. We cashed in and later recieved an e-mail saying our accounts were closed.
Upon contacting the casino several (10+) times and recieving very vague responses as to what is occuring with our cashout, I come to find out that they had no intention of honoring our winnings. They did offer, however, to return the $300.00 deposit. They never mentioned the $200.00 deposit and to this day (02/02/2001) they havent credited that back to my account. In other words they're keeping the money we lost.
They never sent me documentation stating that "I could no longer play on the casino or that my account was permenantly closed". I didn't falsify information ( Why would I? A check or bank account has to be in my name if I'm going to cash it) and when ommunicating with thier Security supervisor I've recieved vague and undetailed responses.
His reasons as to why they are not going to credit us with the winnings are unjustified and have no merit. I submitted documentation that they had requested at an earlier time but they claim they never recieved it. I offered to submit it again, but they never responded to that idea. It all seems fishy to me. This Casino does not have a telephone # and all communication was done electronically. Prior to this I've recieved solicitations to play, If I used a card that was near or pushing above its' limit I would recieve a "Decline Notice' that contained invitation "try another credit card", and if I lost they kept the money. Now I finally win an they refuse to pay me. Is this right? Is this Fair? Plaese tell me!
