I received a nice package in the mail for a free $100.00 bonus. I was into playing two hours, and then my software basically stopped. I tried to sign back into my account, but it said that my username/or password was incorrect. I emailed support, and they said that I needed to verify. I emailed them a utility copy, and they said that they received it. Now, they said that they have to verify "telephonically." Was is that? I know that there has to be a catch, so I just played on their money for fun. However, I was doing very well. So, I am curious, what is their reputation. Does anybody know the rules for cashing out any bonus winnings? Thank you.

GrandBay a positive experience

I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. They do verify everthing but I appreciate that. They pay out quickly.

Found them sharp and attentive and to have a good sense of humor. No problems with payouts, bonus terms are clear. Other than tournament foibles and previously accepting wagers from underage (then insisting on player coming of age before being refunded) I haven't heard anything 'bad' about Grand Prive that wasn't balanced by other player's posts. They had at least one ecogra complaint a couple of weeks ago and hopefully when it is settled the player will post the resolution.
I would not hesitate to recommend CGB. Have fun:thumbsup:

telephonically = telephone = phone

They have to call you to verify your account before you start playing.

Tanergirl -
I received the very same package/cd, bonus offer, etc. I have been waiting to download it until I read your post.

I too live in the U.S. - how do you deposit and how do you get paid on this site?
Thanks.

I'm not really happy with the way they make you deposit money for playing their freeplay promotion.

I deposited 20 to play the freeplay and was planing to cash out if I didn't win anything. The freeplay promotions was only slots so of course It was impossible to win. I then went into the bank and tried to withdraw, without any luck.
I found that a 0.01 bonus hade been added to my deposit (to prevent me from cashing out). It was only 30x WR so no problem really but still. After playing a hand of Red Dog I went for the bank again. Yes, you guessed it! The minium withdrawal was 50...

I didnt want to deposit any more money into this casino since it would take me at least 3 days to get them back, in addition to that I was afraid that they would add even more unwanted bonuses. I reached 35 before I lost everything.

It's a smart way to keep peoples money, but I don't like the whole idea of adding unwanted bonuses just so that players are forced to play before cashing out.

I'm sure there's a ton of people that are doing this, and the casino has to cover their a$$.

Does it make it right? Nope, but can you blame them?

I think you will find almost all casinos have a min. withdraw amount .
As far as Grand Bay is concerned I have never had a problem . They may, out of the blue, stop letting you participate in their promotions but they will process your cashouts pretty promptly .

I won't play at any casino that calls you on the phone like Grand Bay. My loved ones do not need to know about my gambling activities. I don't want to live in fear every time the phone rings. This is an online business and there is no reason that they can't communicate to me online! Sorry but this issue makes me SOOOOO mad!:mad::mad:

It's not like they call you up to offer a bonus :) They called me within an hour of opening account.. don't think they called back on cash out, don't remember. But a week or two after I opened an account they sent a free hundred bucks and a cd. I still play there.. I'll have to cash out again to see if they call then, but they shouldn't.

I received a call from them telling me they had processed my withdrawal, what was REALLY odd was that I was banned from their promotions within a few days of that call. I rather suspect these are NOT about having a spot of "small talk" with an up and coming VIP, but more likely a fishing expedition to assess the "skill" level, or potential "skill" level of the players. Too much knowledge leads to being dumped from the competitions and extras.
When I phoned back about the lack of E-mails, the "small talk" was replaced by abruptness bordering on downright rudeness.

I am NOT at all impressed, I feel that I would be forever looking for the "stab in the back" from them if I took part in the new offers they have started sending me, tournaments.

Grand Bay OMG this is real service

At Grand Bay, its ALWAYS the same:

They LOCK your account 15 min after you deposited (deposited, not registred (!!!!)), because they want proof, that you the one you claim to be.

For this reason, you HAVE TO CALL THEM UP, NO EXCUSE.....

They say that they try to call you, but if you're not in USA (I think) they DON'T do it AT ALL !!! (I have proof from 2 friends (and myself), one in Germany, one in France, all provided correct tel including prefixes - NO call)

I really can understand, that the casino MUST make sure you are "you" AND are at the address you gave, or at least, have a tel number, totally new to them !! So you are UNIQUE...

Ok, but what is really BAD about this: They NOWHERE give you a hint, that you have to call them ! Sometimes Chat is dead or, even worse, you do have only a CELL PHONE (no chance in calling the 0800 number from most providers) AND NO PROOF for the casino.

BUT, this you got to know BEFORE you deposit !!!!!

And, simply to LOCK you ???? Can't they just send a mail or at least: Lock AND send a mail !

Ok, enough...

BTW: Does anyone know how long it can take to get the 300 $ free spin feature activated ?
My brother is waiting for 4 days now, each time he asked per mail or chat it was the same: "Just wait another hour - I have now credited them." AND ? NOTHING !

At the 3rd day, they said it would somtimes take up to 3 days, so tomorrow it will be def. there. - NOTHING.

At the 4th day a person then mailed back, stating it could often take UP TO 7 (!) days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW....

So, read the T+Cs, the free spins MUST be used in 7 days after deposit or they will be void..... LOL

What can you think of this ????

Another BTW: You know when you are a bonus abuser according to their T+Cs ?:

Such players generally accept bonuses, wager the minimum amount and immediately cash out. GRAND PRIV CASINOS reserve the right to take appropriate action against such Players

Well, if this is all you have to do to be a abuser, HELL why is it possible to deposit a minimum and cash out after the requirements are met ?????? (I would guess it depends on the size of the cash in, if you are an abuser...)

This is quite a change, they never once asked me for documents, even with the larger cashouts.
I had three months of reasonable service then it all went wrong:confused:

I have now been "allocated a personal liaison", and made a "King" level in their new "Loyal Flush" club.
Had things not gone so badly I would have been easily an "Ace" by now as I would have played another of the tournaments.

They have something even bigger & better coming up so they tell me, so in preparation for this, I have withdrawn my recent 15,000 Spin Palace win on Munchkins(mostly) back to my UK Bank for spending on something more important:p:p

I had a problem with Lake Palace Casino part of the Grand Priv'e group last year. I was a regular depositor there. I used my credit card, bank card combo to deposit with. When I clicked the button to make the deposit there it had some kind of glitch and loaded very slow and didnt credit my account with the funds so I didnt it again and the second time it worked. The problem was they deducted the money twice from my bank account and only credited my casino account once. I emailed and talked on LIVE chat as well as on the phone. I was told after telling my storie over and over and sending in proof by faxing many times and emailing a copy of the bank statement they withdrew from over the course of about 6 months.(They always said they didnt recive the faxes or the emails untill after me doing so every couple of days for 3 months) I talked to many different and sometimes the same support staff. Finally they emailed me and said that I receved the credits and played them. How many members here when they have a zero balance and make a deposit know if you have played your credits or not? When I argued I never played the credits, they basicly called me a liar. LOL. What a joke. Finally I gave up.

Hey Rocketmanaa,

Your credits played is pretty easy to see in Playcheck. Did you look through Playcheck on the dates they said you played your credits?

You don't even need to see that. Just check the transaction history for the date in question.

Yes, I know you can get that page up to see your play history and none was there. They wouldnt admit that I hadnt played there and it was like arguing with a rock. I just gave up on the money. It was only a minimal deposit but I felt like I was robbed.

Complain to eCogra. Do it for the principle, not the money. If there is no record of the play, the casino will have no way to wriggle out of this, as eCogra require records to be kept for a period of time. As well as the playcheck, get the transaction pages (Cashcheck) and the records from your method of deposit. This should clearly show the TWO deposits going out, to the ONE deposit arriving in the casino. If proven, this is a VERY SERIOUS issue, and is, in effect, theft.

Grand Prive CS

My experience with emailing support (5 times), is they can't even bother to send me the courtesy of a reply in 4 out of 5 of those times. I've phoned them 2 times and I had a very difficult time understanding them and they had a difficult time understanding me because of our respective accents. The first time I phoned I was assured someone from the technical dept would get back with me via email. Didn't happen! I then sent another email about the issue.....never heard back.

The 2nd time I phoned was because they kept sending me emails about a survey and if I took the time to do it, a free $10.00 would be mine. Never got the survey. I clicked on a link within the email once to request it, even though they said I should already have it. It never came. I emailed and said where is that survey, NO reply. A couple days later I phoned about the survey, because I really wanted to tell them what shi**ty CS they have. They said..........the email was sent out to some customers by mistake, that I hadn't been selected for the survey. A couple days later in shows up in my email.....go figure. So I filled the thing out and if CS could be rated any lower than I did........I would have.
