I have been playing at Casino Grand Bay with no problems since the anti gambling law passed. Now they are telling me I can't play there anymore because I am from NY.

That's understandable but why did they wait so long to ban me???

I tried to ask the CS rep but she had no answer for me. I was playing there last week. What if I had cashed out? Would they have paid me?

I don't have an issue with them for not allowing me to play, but why now? I thought things were turning around a little and more casinos would start allowing us to play again.

I'm confused.

IMHO

I think its going to go the other way and more and more casinos are going to pull out rather than lighten up. Just my opinion. Sorry to hear that Deb, I hope you can find another casino that you enjoy, that does stink

I think up until very recently most casinos did not care a whit about the 11 states that have outlawed online gambling.

But recent events in Congress have focused US law enforcement on enforcing the existing online gambling laws and Casinos are currently covering their rear ends...

i thought all microgaming had a prohibition agianst NY (and other states) players. Maybe they just got around to cleaning out existing customer base?

Wasn't it Intertops that allowed NY players for quite awhile even after the 11 state ban, too? It wasn't really that long ago that they stopped allowing NY as well.
