    Hi All,

    From a purely information gathering point of view I would be interested to know peoples views on Bots. I know that these can be used to gain an advantage when playing games online such as poker, but can these be used to gain an unfair advantage when playing Casino games, Roulette in particular, online.

    All responses and view would be much appreciated.

    I've never heard about a "roulette bot" before. What excactly is it supposed to do, other than place your wagers for you ?
    If I had a casino, I would ask you to please keep using it, I'm sure, as long as you'd stay ;)

    :D

    well there already available courtesy of the casino;s in a lot of brands especially M G example is auto hold in poker it will show you in chart form the absolute correct play to hold your draw cards , same exists in other table games

    actually at three dice if you make a dumb B J move a prompt will ask if you are really feeling that lucky then you can revert back to the correct bet

    I was reading this thread when on phone, and it reminded me that somewhere someone was at one time using some kind of computer program to help win slots. I think I may have read it here. Would that be a bot? I know either way its cheating but I always hear about bots but never about slot bots or am I in la la land again? :D

    I highly recommend using bots, especially when taking a bonus.

    The pick 'em poker bot is my favorite.

    Trust me - he WAS joking!

    Simple answer: No.
    The only use of a bot is to "grind though" wagering requirements at low bets in order to reduce the variance and so give as close to HA result as possible. This could take many, many hours = incredible boring if the player is doing it manually.

    WARNING; Just is case you don't know - the use of "bots" is strictly forbidden by most online casinos - get caught and you will lose your winnings, and in some cases, your deposit too.

    scrape? what does that mean?

    I'm assuming by your post that you are saying that a casino you have installed can scan your whole hard drive? I've never read anything in regards to such in a t&c. If some program is scanning my harddrive without my permission, I'm gonna be one pissed off lady.

    Sometimes the translation is really strange:eek2:

    Bot = Maggot
    Tom = Male cat

    But I think I got it with the last clue anyway :p
