I received an unsolicited PMil from someone at this site wanting to sign me up to their "program".

#1 I don't like people "fishing" among forum members for unsolicited sales pitches
Is there a way to report it or stop it?

#2 What is this cashtherake ?

That really is totally uncool; you should definitely report it.

Once again I learn something new and helpful from the members of this site. I didn't know there was a "report" feature on a PM.

But then this was my first spam PM --

Thanks to all, once more.

Hello To All Meister Members,

First I would like to appologies for any spam you received from us. We didnt meant that the members will see it as spam, we were hoping that Meister members will see Cashtherake.com in a good way and they are, affiliates off course are frightened from this project because we are spliting our incomes with players , and other affiliates are not...

I'm sorry and I no one will receive messages at Meister From Cashtherake.com

Good Luck to all players !!!

Mike

Sheesh! You've got a lot of nerve. I've spent a good portion of this morning connecting the dots between your accounts in this forum - most of which have been banned for spamming.

You're a habitual spammer. You have no respect for the members here; you have no regard for our rules.

You sent PM spam to people who consider private messages as private messages - PMs are not a tool for you to exploit this forum with your "offers".

Check out the crap you posted at AGD:
We hope that the players and the affiliates will work with us to make it work , we are really sorry if some one received an email/message , we just wanted to share this offer with all casino players and we will try all ways to make this project successful.

Mike
 What are you trying to make "work"? Spam?

Take a freaking hike.

Just to add - this is what is called raking spammers over the coals. I am totally fed up with webmasters who think Casinomeister members are fair game for their unsolicited intrusive garbage.

I ain't done yet

So let's take a look at cashtherake.com

We are a gambling portal which specializes in exclusive offers which you cannot afford to miss. At CashTheRake.com, you are given an exclusive VIP treatment along with promotional offers. The best part of being associated with CashTheRake.com is that you have no fear to lose. This is because all we give you is more and more. With us, you only gain with our exclusive Cash Back packages on your deposits as well as your losses. Sounds unbelievable? Then try out CashTheRake.com as we offer private promotions and packages exclusively for you as per your needs.
Yeah - a website for sheep and suckers.

One odd thing...all of the properties on this portal are from Affactive. Affactive promotes an award winning casino group that received the coveted "Worst Casino Group" of the year 2010. You can check this out here.

Now I'm not saying that this is a casino "owned" portal, but the Affactive accounts in this forum are Israeli IPs just as this webmaster's IPs are. But Israel is a small country, and I'm sure that some of the similarities are coincidental.

My advice to Affactive is to shut this affiliate's account down.

I could dig deeper, but I really don't have the time. I'd rather leave this up to our adept members who enjoy seeing spammers squirm.

Lesson learned: you don't spam this forum.

From Cashtherake.com - instructions on how to sign up at one of their casinos:

It is very important to know that before a player goes to play at Win Palace Casino, the player must delete all cookies so that his account can be registered with CashTheRake.com.

If I was an Affactive affiliate, I would be freaking out at the moment. This spammer guy just came to the forum and tried poaching the players here - if any one of these players frequently visits let's say...Kasino King who promotes WinPalace, KK would not have received credit for that player if that player had visited WinPalace via KK's links.

@KK - I would have a word with your affy manager at Affactive. This is BS in my opinion.

Hi,

Been away and haven't noticed this thread, so just to close this matter from ourside:

Spamming the forum: obviously not allowed. the affiliate himself has already replied here.

Deleting cookies comment: not acceptable. We contacted him and it will be taken of.

Relation to Affactive: None.

One request: Eventually one of the purposes is also to have the industry people to see the comments and the posts and to correct things, so if you see some related to us post that is not replied, please PM since it has been probably overlooked.

Kind regards,
Daniel
