I use a Capital One card and just noticed I have 7 "cash advance" fees of $10 each for 7 deposits. I don't know for sure of 3 casinos which one this may have happened with, CWC, High Noon or Uptown Aces. Each of the processing names is Financial services at auxpay.com. WTH! Anyone else had something like this?????? And why in heck would my card call these cash advances?????

Actually since all of the charges are over $35 I'm thing CWC or High Noon.

It is most likely the credit card provider. A couple of years back I asked for a prepaid card for my bank, which I have to load to make purchases. When I got the card and all the paperwork, online gambling or bill payments were treated as cash advances, even though I would have used my own cash to load it.

I cancelled it and stuck with the one I have from a cash store.

I have never seen a cash advance fee! And $10?? I'm in shock!! That's $70, who the heck plans on an extra $70 bucks being taken out, on top of the usual "extra" amount on the deposit!

I've used this card for years at both casinos, this is a first. And it's interesting that they are all from the same processor. On all my cards this is the first I've seen this one.

I know US players have real troubles with deposits.

Usually things are coded as purchases... shoes, clothing, electronics, bicycles etc.

This must be coded as something else, such as a bill payment. Hopefully it is not coded as gambling (as mine are where it is okay). Even here and in UK, some cards charge cash advance fees for correctly coded casino purchases, and some cards refuse to do them at all.

I think it's bad enough that I pay $1.50 every time I play for a foreign transaction, plus 3% of the actual amount.

I'd be damned if I'd spend $10 to play.

Might as well save up for a day trip to a local B&M even if the slots don't pay as well.

Most of mine are "clothing", these are labeled "Financial Services ". I hope whatever casino this is they lay the smackdown on that if they can. Too late for me now but may help someone else.

Well, the winner is High Noon Casino. I wanted to figure out which one was using a processor that was coming through as a cash advance on my CC so I figured I'd try them all. It just cost me another $10 but now I know. Fair warning, check your deposits in case you are getting charged. Totally sucks.

    Hi Deanna,

Jasminebed explained the situation perfectly, it is your card issuer who add the charge, I just sent you a PM.

    Kind Regards,
    Karolina
