What do you guys think about Captain Cooks casino nowadays? I was a customer there awhile ago, but a haven't been using them much since they joined the Casino Rewards group. I seem to remember some customers who had trouble with them after this.

I'm thinking about giving them a try, they have a great matching bonus whitch pops up in my inbox every now and then. Anything I should be aware of (warnings, tips, ...) before I rejoin them?

Thank you very much

Kind regards

Yeah - don't join if you've already joined any other casino rewards place!
(BlackJack Ballroom, Golden Tiger, Lucky Emperor, Virtual City, Yukon Gold, Zodiac, Strike It Lucky, Casino Kingdom, Casino Classic)

They will let you sign-up, claim the bonus, play & win - and only then tell you that you can only have one bonus across their group of casinos!

Another thing to be aware of is the $4k a week cashout limit for new players. 48 Hour reverse time too, but they will flush on request.

...and Aztec Riches + Phoenician :p

As much as I hold issues with eCogra (pertaining to 888.com) I'll admit they are a value to players.

Apart from 32red, dash and a couple of others who do not hold the eCogra seal, I'd be either playing at these casinos or choosing one that is eCogra sealed.

In regards to any casino under Casino Rewards the stress and hassle that you may encounter by accepting a bonus is simply not worth it!

Better still choose a casino on CM's recommended list and you can't go wrong

Curious if the casino rewards group have gotten any better for anyone? I would like to participate in their 1 hour free slots and I have to deposit $20 to get the $500 + hour.

I belong to 6 of their group and have been for years but haven't played there in quite a while and never thought of playing with any offers until this one was offered.( I really dislike bonuses, but this is worth $20 bucks, don't you think?) Feedback would be very helpful.

For general play, I prefer other Microgaming casinos. There is less hassle all around, not just with bonuses. However, the 1-hour free play bonuses offered by Casino Classic and Captain Cook's are worthwhile. You can get the 1-hour free play without making a deposit. Winnings are given as a bonus with your first deposit. Free play bonuses are credited outside of the Casino Rewards login, so you should receive the bonus whether or not you have been suspended from receiving group bonuses. To avoid bonus problems, you can make a deposit on an existing account without bonuses prior to claiming a new signup bonus.

Casino Rewards

I started playing there after they bought out my Aztec Riches account and Phoenician account. Upon seeing my deposit and play history, they upgraded me from "bonus whoring scumbag" to "elite VIP player"; and sent me a lucky keyfob that has won me nothing so far.
The email welcoming me to CR confirmed that you CAN take the sign up bonus at all the casinos, BUT, in between each offer you must make a deposit into one of your existing accounts without a bonus. This rule also applies to the 1 hour free play promotions.
Customer support is still worse than the average MG casino, however they have introduced the EZBonus system, so there is no room for messing players around claiming invalid games and not meeting WR. Still, it would be unwise to make it obvious the main reason for playing is to take the bonus from them, so avoid obvious tactics, such as depositing $20, taking the next bonus and making a single big bet in the hope of cashing out ahead.
Move any bonus into the casino account as soon as possible, just in case they lock the loyalty redemption account, the usual response to bonus whoring, and in many cases, legitimate but lucky play.
