Bloody hell they've had a good feed out of it, 28 years almost, hopefully most of the current employees will be re-employed by any new operator, maybe there is a bit of extra tory party sponsorship occurring in the background, the next general election campaigning has to be paid for and all that :what:

They have a lot of employees, in the thousands. I expect likely they will be taken on by the new operator. Well, you would think so.
Nah - they will probably "do a P&O" - sack the lot of them and replace them with Bulgarians on £1.75 per hour... :(

Camelot have a history of this. They whinged when they lost out to Branson years back, and then somehow got it back.

what's stopping them creating another lottery, there's that postcode shitey one, I think there was another linked to supporting the nhs. Maybe it's losing the scratch card business as well.

Camelot were already ruining the lottery and the Ukgc are not fit for purpose
