Calling all Rocket Scientists!

winbig

Keep winning this amount.
I think you need to either be a rocket scientist, a mathematician, a lawyer, or a combination of the three to figure this one out:

edit: Ok, after reading it 10 times, I think I have it figured out....So my first deposit is $50 @ 20%. My next deposit is $100. That means I won't get the 25%, but will get 20%, because my 2nd deposit is 2x as much as my first deposit???

ok, ok... i got one too and it's a classic. guy walks into a room and points at a picture of a man on the wall and says "i have no brothers or sisters, but that man's father is my father's son." who's the guy in the picture?

sorry winbig, i thought you were starting a riddle thread :D

i read that thing a few times and i think people will figure out my riddle way before they figure out yours, lol. :D the funny thing is that someone actually wrote that thinking other people would understand it!

So let's say I deposit $20, I get my 20% bonus. Then I deposit $40, I still get the 20% bonus. Then I deposit $70....Do I get 25%, or do I get 30%? Oh wait, I guess I get 40% for using EwalletExpress! :D Oh wait, I still only get 30%, because I didn't use EwalletExpress and money order!

Geeze Winnnie!.........you 're a freaking rocket scientist????:eek2:

So does this mean getting the highest value of bonuses with the least possible deposits. If we start with $72 and double it each time till we the 4th level we should be getting around $446 in bonuses against a total of $1080 in deposits.

Not the way I see it....The way I read it is if you double your deposit on the subsequent deposit, you get the previous %...lol

I would think that would only be applicable if its greater than double your previous deposit but not if its equal to double.

If it's that difficult to figure out the bonus  think about (trying) to cashout a win????:D I've had two cups of coffee and it's still way to difficult!!!

Hey, I'm still trying to figure out how my son 1. made it into medical school and 2.graduated..... not that I want to give my ex any credit :D

See! i told you someone would figure out my riddle before they figured out that bonus, lol.

i still keep reading that bonus and i still get thrown off by some of the wording. i always get confused with bonuses that give x%, then x%, but another X% if you deposit with x method, and subsequent deposits must be x times this and that, etc....

I'm glad I'm not alone in trying to figure this one out...lol

I think we have an early leader for the "Most confusing bonus of 2008" award ;)

I'm sorry, but their support staff are CLUELESS.

I don't know how to be more clearer when asking for a detailed explanation of these promotion terms, but for some reason, they keep telling me the same thing (Twice now):

As I explain you exactly , your account was credited with the first time bonus of 125% , for your first deposit made on 9/10/2007 12:53:49 PM for $100 , the bonus was $125 , after that there is no deposit made, this information was send , because the email was not clear, just for your information about your deposits and bonuses.Thank you for your comprehension.

How retarded can you get?

Sorry, but these people are starting to piss me off. This is what you get when you hire support staff to handle English speaking customers when the staff's first language isn't English. If you're going to provide services to English speaking customers, at least HIRE PEOPLE THAT SPEAK/WRITE/UNDERSTAND FLUENT ENGLISH.

Main Street.

This is Main Street, an accredited RTG group with three casinos I believe. The easiest way to understand this offer when in your Email preview pane is to press the "DEL" key - most keyboards have two, so shouldn't be too hard to find:D

The "extra 10%" is for deposit methods that only Americans can use, and they may have a better value as a result.

I originally had their Playtech accounts, and these were moved to RTG, and in the process were converted from UK Pounds to US Dollars. I have never been able to get a reply from CS, and it is no good playing at a casino where the Casinomeister rep has to provide all the standard Customer support as well as look into issues raised here.
That quoted reply is of an appalling standard, the information is badly conveyed, and does not even appear to answer the question at all.
The support staff may be graduates, but if they put together a reply like that because they have not learned English thoroughly, they will come across as "retards" as far as the player is concerned, and this will affect the way players deal with them by way of reply, and in the future.

This is rather sad. It reminds me of when during a panel discussion I moderated at GIGSE a few years ago, Peter Marcus said "If you have to use more than one sentence to explain a bonus - don't do it." Truly words of wisdom.

It's a shame that this is as convoluted as it can get - my advice, don't take these bonuses. If you don't understand the terms, and the CSR is not making this clear. Skip it. It's not worth the hassle.

One of the reasons I don't bother with bonuses.

The 125% w 40 playthrough is easy enough to understand (still didn't take it) Playing 12x your deposit to pick up the weekly 20% bonus that must be played through 12x to cash out is something I can wrap my head around (won't ever take it) but the degressive riddle isn't even worth trying to decipher for me :)

edit: Wanted to add that the three reps that I dealt with were cordial, helpful and efficient resolving my issue today.
