Hi all.
I hope the mods allow me this review and don't see it as spam but I think this new casino is worth a mention.

The Casino
Owned by Harrah's interactive inc (a subsidiary of Harrah's Entertainment inc so this a major brand) the casino is operated by Entertaining play Ltd which uses a software provided by Gamesys Ltd.

With such a recognised brand and being licensed by Gibraltar LA it ticked all the boxes to begin with so I had a look.

Customer service
There is a live chat function but that appeared to be off-line so a black mark there.
There is a free-phone number though and I got an answer even in the early hours of a Sunday morning so that somewhat makes up for it.
The people I spoke to were professional, knowledgeable and very friendly.

The software.
Graphics and sound are pretty average by today's standards but personally I am more interested in how the games play, especially 5 reel slots since these are what I play most.
All games are played in your browser.
There are the usual mix of bonus pick and free spin rounds but these have a slightly different twist to some other software so they still felt like a breath of fresh air. However there are currently only between 5 and 10 worth playing so if new slots are not added regularly they might become overly familiar for the regular player.

Some of the symbols have a bit of a retro feel to them while others are more cartoony and modern looking.
There a 3 progressive slots with the Daddy being the Deal or No deal progressive.
This game has a real hook to the main bonus game where you have a chance(much smaller than the game suggests I am sure) to win the progressive jackpot. You need to max bet to be eligible for this bonus game which at 5p a line is a pound a spin and be warned I went through £150 pretty quick.
It plays much like the TV show and if you still have the jackpot remaining near the end it can get quite tense.
There is also a neat little feature where as the reels spin a phone will ring on occasion. The dealer informs you the next spin is a winner and offers you a prize which you can take or reject and receive the winning spin instead.
Out of the half dozen times I had this happen I always rejected and the dealers offer was always higher than the winning spin but it's your choice.

RTP

Impossible to gauge on the few hours I have played thus far but I had an excellent run for my money and cashed out ahead.
The real test will be the next deposit ;)

Bonus

They have an excellent sign up bonus of 200% with a reasonable WR.

Banking
This is where they lose some more marks.
They only accept credit card and VISA debit deposits.
I used VISA debit and the only withdrawal option available to me was through my bank account.

Withdrawals
I made my withdrawal request on Sunday night and received confirmation it had been processed this Bank holiday Monday. That is excellent though it remains to be seen how long it takes to hit my bank or if there are any hidden charges. I will update on that.
Still if it takes 3 banking days that will still be as quick or quicker than an instant ewallet cashout as I would still need to with draw from there to my bank.

Conclusion

Caesars is well worth a try if you are looking for something new though there is room for improvement with the software and especially banking options.
I can't say the games are looser than other sites, just that I personally had more luck there and of course that helps give a favourable impression.
That said if I had got some game time and lost I would of still returned just for the fun of playing some new slots.

Give it a try, just don't come looking for me if they turn you upside down, that's all.

Thanks for the review Rusty.

With a company as big as Harrah's you would think they would go with some halfway decent software. Most of the games on that site look like they were designed by a 4th grader.

That seems a little harsh, surely not that bad? :)

Great review Rusty!

I was very surprised to hear they're using Gamesys software though - I was 99% convinced they had tied up with 888.com and so I assumed they would be using Cassava... :eek2:

I'll have to give 'em a go!
Cheers!

Just an informative note that Harrah's (inc. the interactive division) has changed its corporate branding to Caesars Entertainment.

I received an email from Harrah's (I play at Showboat, Caesars, and Bally's when I go to AC), this is from the bottom of the email...

This is an advertisement from Caesars. It was transmitted by e-Dialog on behalf of
Caesars Entertainment, c/o Caesars Operating Company, Inc. ATTN: Internet Marketing,

Not sure if this is pertinent?

hi rusty am i right in thinking that this software & casino is the same as jackpotjoy???? , to which i already play , where ive never had any problems with withdrawals , though i did have a problem with two bonus rounds clogging up & lost those games , got sorted in the end via e mail, payouts was paid but did take a while ,luckly i had a screen shot to back it up , other than this ive had many hours playing these games & they seem to be ok.

Hi mrjones, the software is the same but as far as I know the ownership is different though I see Jackpot Joy are also licensed by Gibraltar.
I have not played there but looking at the website it appears the site is owned by gamesys the software provider and the license is registered under profitable play ltd.
They look safe to me.

I have recently put some whitelisted jurisdictions to the test since I could not get a straight answer from any of them about what some of their guidelines meant in real terms for the player.
I am pleased to say Gibraltar was one which passed with flying colours giving me a personal assurance my issue would be looked into, which it was, and a follow up email asking if things had been sorted to my satisfaction just 48 hours later.
That is just one instance so I am not about to go gooey eyed with them but I am pretty sure I would of received nothing coming close to that level service and diligence with some of the more dubious licensing authorities (I think we all know who they are by now)

Criticism of the software is valid to a point and I mention why in my review but I think a couple of the earlier responses were over the top in their criticism.
I know most of us slot players are always looking for a safe new software to play and that's why I though this casino worthy of a review.

Hopefully, if they are successful, they will be quickly releasing new games and even though most of the current slots are pretty generic in design there are signs this is a software company that is prepared to innovate.

I am not affiliated in any way to this casino or the software and would not of posted a review if I were.
Anyone who gives them a try post your experiences, positive or negative, here but try to stay constructive.
We need as much competition in the software industry as possible.

Keep up the good work Rusty , in these dire times it is comforting that someone is going to all this trouble to find what I think IMHO, is, that what, we are all looking for.

Remember the way of the cynic....... They know the cost of everything, but the value of nothing ;).

Thanks.
Have to say though a good dose of cynicism is pretty much a requirement if you want to gamble safely on line. ;)

They did a 'bait and switch' on me which was never resolved.

They were totally unresponsive so I can't reccomend them.

Thanks for that DG and of course I would feel the same way.
I would of taken the issue up with Gibraltar, complete with screenshots and email, chat transcripts etc. Perhaps you can still do this.

What happened in the end?

ps.

You did use the link in the email to sign up I presume? If not the system wouldn't apply that particular bonus.

Yes I did use the link which was a personal invite from Jackpot Joy to my account number. Your suggestion of contacting Gibralter is a good one, I sort of lost interest after posting it up on here.

It's not really about the bonus at the end of the day, just getting ever more annoying that companies seem to contstantly ignore the law and advertising standards lately. You would think the industry would improve by now but sadly it seems to be the same mistakes again and again.

I agree and I am not sure what can have gone wrong in this instance but I'm pretty sure it will not have not have been a deliberate , just very bad CS and communication which is enough on its own.
I guess it is possible they were being hit and decided shut the promotion down which would stink.

I hope you do take it up with Gibraltar because if nothing else it is worth seeing how these jurisdictions react to complaints.
In my test case they responded
very well but then again the CS at Caesars casino was excellent for me too and that was obviously a very different experience to the one you had.

If you do take it up with them remember to include screenshots and such and point them both to your original thread and this one.
In turn Gibraltar could point Caesars to this thread and it may yet be everyone can come out of this satisfied.
