Got the dreaded SOW request. Explained that I fund my modest gambling by using a tiny bit of the substantial savings and investments I own, but they wanted screenshots of this and I refuse to send this as its none of the casinos business.

I accept that it may well be that to use a casino these days I have to provide them my intimate financial details, but I will never do it. I spend a few grand a year at Tescos but they dont require even my ID let alone ask me how I can afford such luxuries as their Finest range rather than Basics.

Anyway, another one bites the dust.

And yet, whilst casinos claim to wish you well on your future endeavours, and claim to 'lock' one's account, if not done for being labelled an out-of-control degenerate gambler they will quite happily re-open said account on a whim!

So apart from the Responsible Gambling & Money-laundering aspect, it's nice to see casinos be so thorough, and of course 'caring'

Still not as caring as Casumo, mind. Nobody cares quite like CasumoCares©

This is my stance on SOW too. I said goodbye to Rizk some time ago due to their request for SOW info and I am dreading my few remaining casinos asking for SOW info because it will mean saying goodbye to them too.

However I can see a point where due to recent events folk have been spending way more than before and their plight clashing with a lack of future earnings. That will create a climate of massively increasing issues for casinos which in turn will see a lot more self protection measures like SOW from casinos

Load of crap. I've lost most mainstream providers now, like LeoVegas, Casumo, through falling out over SOW and / or unknowingly excluding from a white label platform way back in the mists of time because I didn't know any better, resulting in total exclusion from all casinos on that platform.

It won't be too many months before I am not allowed to play anywhere online. Already at the point of losing some slot providers like Play & Go because I'm SOW'ED at nearly all places that provide MAX RTP and won't play at lowered RTP just because I can't play at optimum.

Casinos are just weighing up the pros and cons before the big fall, which is due in the next few years no doubt.

i.e to see how far they can push certain players in regards to intrusive SoWs and other things, versus knowing which players they can push around and that will 'take it', due to not caring enough or being too hooked to want to give up playing, even at significantly-reduced RTPs

Kindred group do not apply exclude across all platforms...oh wait, only to winning customers...ahh, let the money roll in while we can lads...it's every man for himself before clampdown. online gambling has gone to the shitter.

I don't play in a jurisdiction where any of this is applicable (no casinos allowed here at all, thanks dumbass government). But I really, REALLY doubt that it's the casinos themselves pushing for these measures but rather just the good ol' nanny state trying to make it look like they're doing something of use while still raking in the tax dollars.

Oh I know they're interpreting the legislation in different ways. Just that some casinos are taking it too far, and basing their decision on a risk/ reward system by binning certain riff-raff off for an easy life, whether that be through 'Responsible Gambling', or 'Anti- Money Laundering'......whose lines have inevitably blurred to the point where casinos just throw them into one pot. Why get fined £2Mil over a £50p/m month player

Case in point, Snorky's amazing account closure based on winning too much, then the casino hiding behind an RG force-field

The positive part is that you don't have any withdrawals pending or balance on account, now it's just goodbye without that stress and hassle to get your funds.

Note I kept that 2k+ balance in there since March when sports betting stopped as I sports bet on their site, but LV still think I am skint and about to be thrown on the streets lol

The finest range is the only way to go...
The amount of casinos you shut mate with your bonanza exploits you should be giving the wife a free M and S pass!... haha

My auntie always goes there, she’s from oxford. Sadly is northern peasants don’t have one, think Newcastle is the nearest.
My mother in law works their and me with a discount card it’s just as cheap as Asda but it’s twice as nice  if you ever want to cook something decent for a change:p let meknow I will sort you out

This is why I used GamStop and decided never to play online gambling again. They'll let you deposit thousands but you have to jump through a myriad of hoops to get your withdrawal. Not even large amounts either. So definitely never gambling online again. It's just not worth the hassle. I'm not just talking about the Casilando fiasco either. That's nothing compared to what I had to endure with Casumo concerning SOW.

Don’t knock my cooking!!! It’s of a standard higher than casumo’s sow!!!

Thanks LVbet, without your rejection I would have never hit this tonight on Grosvenor who treats me like a 51 year old adult rather than a naughty school boy trying to sneak into my local amusement arcade lol

Just a bit of info on Grosvenor/Mecca for you regarding SOW, took quite a few deposits before I got requests,
first time they wanted to chat about my levels of spending, thought I had that sorted, then got the dreaded SOW request and deposits were blocked, reluctantly sent the proof they wanted but had to wait almost a month for them to check it out.My total deposit level was pretty high before I had any problems with them and they are a good casino.Would advise you keep the deposits lowish if you want to stay with them and dont want SOWing.

Well done on the win, both Mecca and Grosvenor have been very lucky for me.

The day they want evidence of the fact the money ive deposited/won/lost is mine , is the day they can go and fuck themselves . They've had my ID, address verification, and they aint getting fuck all else!!!

If my deposit goes through, I can afford it!!!
