I have been around here over a year now, and have to say have loved the forum.

However, I have decided from this moment, I am giving online gaming up completely.

I have noticed a decline in the treatment received from casinos of late, to the point where I do not really see a benefit to playing. I am a bit sick of it, I find myself depositing just for offers that I then have to chase, or being screwed into reversing by casinos who do not communicate/lie to me/take me for a ride. I just can't be arsed anymore!

So I have asked to be moved to the quit section!

Anyway, have a good year! Good luck all :)

All the best mate! It can be negative if you don't find the right casinos and speed of cash-outs and then high WR's. If you ain't enjoying it, then you did the right thing.

Thanks all - In an ideal world I would have kept my forum membership as is as its probably my most visited website , but I feel to give this a decent shot, I will need to give it all up - remove the temptation and all that.

I have spent so much of the last few years here/gambling/staring at a screen.. losing money as you are supposed to :p, I reckon if I cut it out my life will be really different - in a good way :) - maybe one day I will return but in a weird way I kind of hope I find something new and less costly to fill my time

All the best and if you feel that doing this is the best? Then it is the best for you. I have often over the year,s given thought to stopping But I enjoy it even if I lose. And if a casino does a crappy job on the CS and don,t listen to me. then I just stop playing there. It has worked for many many year,s now. So the very best of luck and all the best wishes too.Peace Out! Out Of The Mist!shewoff

Best of luck to you bud. You are right to cut yourself right off from the forum -- I have made so many deposits after seeing the winner screenshots. You will be richer in your pocket and richer giving more time to yourself and the ones that need you. All the best! May be joining you soon. Please at least update us in a quick little note as to how your life is going.

    We will miss your postings.

Good choice if you are not in the right frame of mind for it. I have tried to cut back, but like you say, seeing winners screenshots without knowing how much it has cost them can be a big temptation. Good call in stopping the whole thing as that is best way to go.

Good luck and hope you don't miss it too badly. Like they say, when the fun stops, stop. Wise words.

Good for you mate.... plenty of other, more interesting things to do out there.

I am close to giving up as well. Except for a high in August 2015 i have been losing deposit after deposit with not even much fun or entertainment. The odd withdrawal in between doesn't make up for all the frustations in between.

Enjoy life and "keep cruising" :D

All the best Casino2014man. You are doing the right thing. Sometimes ENOUGH is the hardest word to say. So fair play to you for
accepting the reality (instead of fighting it) that slotting just isn't doing it for you anymore.

Best of luck in finding a new (and perhaps less expensive) hobby and enjoying a new, gambling-free life.

    Take care mate

Moving you to the Quit Gambling user group - you'll have access to the site, but not the gambling related sections. Good luck!
