Yup I saw that and thought the same thing! I don't think it's going to matter in the long run - I think our days of playing casinos other than OLG are limited. Get ready for the ban hammer in the next year. That's just a hunch though.

Casino's will have to accept the virtual ID if they want our money - gonna be tough to take a selfie with the ID though

we've had "bankid" in sweden for several years. Looks like the same thing.

It's really nice & erases manual signatures. Also waiting times for documents to arrive in your physical mail etc will be gone. So you can sign stuff right a way / online.

I thought this online verification with Bank ID's is old stuff everywhere but looks like i'm wrong. It has been also in use in Finland really long time. Easy way to proof your identity everywhere online and can even be used with casinos. In Finland we have two "national" online casinos Veikkaus and Paf. Both of them require bank ID verification and that's it after that players account is fully verified.
