Anyone ever noticed that. When you play RTG slots, if your turn the sound OFF in the option section, it makes the slots lag really bad within a few spins.

Turning the sound back ON fix the problem completly. I often need to turn the sound off when i play and the only way to do it is to manually mute my speaker, if i turn the sound off in the casino software i get real bad reels lag. I tried it on several RTG casinos and they all seems to do that.

Just tried it at iNetbet. Turned it off and did 50 spins with no lag. Have you tried just putting the slider to 0 and leaving it ticked as ON ?

PS. The legendary "Pirate" thread appears in the "Similar Threads" list below: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/rtgs-caribbean-21-lie.3458/ - anyone who arrived after 2004 and hasn't seen it will probably enjoy that one :)

It did not lag for me either, one thing that is happening though is on Incan Goddess, the double feature game doesnt flash back and forth from red to black, they used to and now you just wait for the game to tell you that you have lost......well most of the time.

Start a slots, in my test i use Achilles, but it work on any.

Go into options, controls, sounds : Uncheck Sound, click Ok.

Press Spins and see if it lags. If not exit that slot and load another. In my case i get major reels lag.

It took me almost 3 hours to read that 49 page thread. I would love to know if Pirate ever got his $1.3 million and the other disputed $70,000.00. Also, it was great to finally read some posts from "Mary" as I had only known her from her perch at the top of the main forum. I think there are more now banned posters in that one thread than I ever new existed. I also did not know that Casinomeister did NOT like being referred to as CM. :eek2: Anyone with time on their hands looking for a contentious read should grab a bottle of wine and give this one a go.

yeah crazy story eh?

about CM, it's because it is really only one word. does he really say he doesn't like being called that or just it annoys him that people make the error? is that the same thing? :p but there are lots of acronyms that use two letters from a word, and i think it would be slightly confusing if we all called him C. so i guess bryan or meister are the only acceptable short forms?

ach so!!!! the abbreviation of "world cup champion" or weltmeister is WM is it not? motion denied :Dlmao;)

There are so many links in it to other sites, forums, MSNBC, etc that it takes a while to get thru all the info. I think he said that there are other Webmasters going by CM so it could get confusing. Issue could be moot at this time as the posts are from Feb 04 and he is certainly master of his domain so to speak. :)

eeegads, was a grueling roller coaster ride that was! And an anti-climax of sorts.
Did he do it?
Is he being paid?
Wow.

I remember watching and reading (lurking -- I hadn't signed up yet) as the Pirate saga unfolded. Looking back at it (I'm reviewing the thread now), Pirate sounds a lot like dc9999 ... he and Pirate aren't 'related' are they?? And I too wonder if Pirate ever got all his money... Interesting (re)reading... Pass the wine, Cyn...

It was reported that Pirate agreed to a "settlement" with the actual amount never mentioned.

Another former Casinomeister member... "Cipher"... (who has his own long thread on here regarding him being accused of ripping off at least one person for $20,000) was reported to be instrumental in getting that settlement for Pirate.

Pirate "disappeared" from the forums after this... and has not been back since.

My apologies.

RE: RTG and turning off the sound in the software... I have noticed no difference in reel spin or gameplay.

Maybe you should take your complaint/issue up with the MODERATOR OF THIS FORUM, who is the one who posted the link, thinking it might be interesting reading for some of the newcomers.

Way to go, nice first impression you've made on me.
