BTG,NYX,Blueprint removed from Canadian players!

Was just informed VS is no longer allowing Canadians to play BTG games at their site.
This is the very first I hear of it.... it is a sad, sad day! I have been unable to load any BTG for a couple days, was really hoping it was simply a technical issue....but sadly...

35 providers were removed, via NYX......everything from BTG to Blueprint to Lightning Box games....and many many more. It's like half the games vanished overnight for Canadians.....why does this keep happening??

yep BTG looks to have now put a block on all Canadians on all sites. Just checked 4 other sites and all blueprint and btg blocked everywhere.

Pathetic.

Well, never had much recent success on BTG. I guess people in Ontario will have to wait until PlayOLG adds all those slots like they did at Espace Jeux and PlayNow. We were never allowed to play them in the first place but at least we got a good long run on them.

Guess I’ll have to play more at the locals and cut back on the online.

A shame as I am on a winning streak. $100 profit at Lac Leamy, $150 at VS, another $50 at VS and even $75 playing Raging Rhino at PlayOLG.

Part of the contract in place requires these software providers block all Canadians from playing their games elsewhere so we are forced into the government casinos. In order for the contract not to be broken and ensures providers like BTG get their money, they must block us.

I guess instead of blocking Quebec and BC since their games are available in their casinos, they just put a blanket block on the entire country. Which means people from Ontario will have to wait months, if not years for the idiots at playolg to sort their shit out as usual.

Whats left for us. MG, thunderkick, amatic, gamomat, merker, playngo and yggdrasil?

lol my wallet cannot afford to play from those limited providers only. RIP online for me I guess.

It obviously blows how providers can get pulled overnight like that, and though I'd probably pine for BTG I'd be far more devastated if MG went. What have they got, 2000 games? And a hell of a lot classics in there......Thunderkick I think are good too.

What have BTG got, 10? But overall there's no denying these fly-by-night legislations are simply a mess, and who's to say other providers won't be affected in time

Probably sometime in 2020 when that new company takes over PlayOLG. Until then, we’ll have to wait for those NetEnt and SG Digital games to slowly trickle in (if they even bother) or move to British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec or Scandinavia.

OLG will be getting a technical facelift this year from Bede Gaming.

Our RTP's are the same on BCLC and Lotto Quebec as they are in all our other jurisdictions, our games only have one RTP across the board. I find it odd that providers offer mixed RTP's as it's just not a player friendly practice. This is what happens when so many games are supplied through one aggregator, as they are at many multiplatform sites. There's no demarcation so it's all or nothing. In many countries for example, Leander and other brands are delivered through the iSoftBet interface so if they go, so do all the other slots they offer under that license.
