The BTG comp couldn't be fiddled as it's a fixed-ways slot. As you know, I had access to the game several weeks before the entrants so for all you people know I could've posted screenshots I'd collected previous to the comp date and used them, which is why once I posted the first, I realized I should include the clock/date from the bottom right of my PC so you would all know I'd hit the wins AFTER the comp began so I had the same chance as everyone else. That has proved to be moot anyway, because I can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo on Starclusters. I still say the 3k x one will win easily.

Not fiddled per say but this is more along the lines that if there's a way to gain advantage to win a comp, someone might do that. Surely you acknowledge that playing say, four instances simultaneously of the game is more advantageous than people who only play one?

While it wasn't explicitly disallowed in the rules I'd still consider it "cheating". Especially because doing this would require you to login with multiple accounts at once.

And just to be clear, I am not saying people DID cheat. The whole point was that people might have and I hoped btg would account for that, especially for future comps.

Sadly the comp is over and no comment from btg so I can only hope that all winners were genuine.

Agreed on that sentiment about star clusters tho. Nigh-impossible to hit anything on it and it's not even very fun. There are more entertaining ways to lose my money.

Yes, you have a point if it were possible to play it in 4 screens - I've never tried but I'm not sure it would work from the same log-in or PC.

I was confused why Nikan was banned then I was pointed to this thread and it all makes sense

I mean I am not in the slightest surprised that is why they are banned, You would think after 9 years on here they would no better than to try and cheat competitions, For me and 99% of members on here we are here for what this is a forum to talk and learn new things all about gambling sharing winnings,story's ect. Its sad that a very small % of people are on here just to try and get what they can by any means. Its sad to see.

I'm actually quite...reticent to post here (though from other means, been drawn here by default). not for any poor measure, rather, there's a competent rep, staff who helped coordinate and dun who has stepped in for aid.

In these days, casinos and reps , as I'm sure many have noticed, have increased Ts and Cs to try to cover all bases; but end of day, noone can anticipate every possible condition.
These are meant to be FUN, not TL DR contractual arguments.

If they (and Nikan) are classing it as a single 1p spin, as that what it shows on the account history and in the casino back end, then so should each of the bonus spins, as if you look at his account screenshot, each win from the bonus was added singularly not all together. I think his biggest single win was £10.30 or so, so the multiplier was actually only 1030 x stake, meaning he shouldn't have got the top prize anyway.

I only noticed that after he was banned so was no point bringing it up, and as I'm not a snidey horrible twat, like a certain banned member, I didn't think it would be nice to threaten the rep with complaints to the gambling commissions if they didn't do what I told them to.

It's because I doubt anyone wanted to outright point their finger at nikan, while he was a member of this community still. At least I didn't want to call out any names. Though now with the way events unfolded, I suppose it's fine now.

I'll be honest. The only reason I even posted that thing about cheaters was because I had just previously read this thread. I couldn't help but wonder if he'd pull the same stunt on the btg comp. And who's to say someone else hasn't? This is in response to your thought that you would imagine no one here (in btg comp) would cheat. Truth is, you never know.

Ahem, as got the topic in this thread.. Glad to see justice has been served. Shame about the prize though, and the rightful #1 winner of this comp.

I called out Nikan and his sidekick, wee Jimmy Krankie a few month ago in the unlucky L&L comp.

Thankfully Nikan is no more. but I see the sidekick back in winners circle, after keeping his head down for a bit.
