Brand New Rival Casino

x30 play through i deposited $75 with the 300% bounus so that took me to $300 so just times that by 30 and you have 9000. holy shit thats alot thinking about it i was one lucky begger.

This is how it should be, when games are disallowed...the software should just not let you play them. This way a player does not play a restricted game in error, and find themselves in the unfortunate position of being denied winnings.

Very true and it would be difficult for a player to argue otherwise if say BJ was played accidentally even after all WRs were met. However, this is where the good and bad are separated. I finished the WRs at Slotocash playing slots but then proceeded to play some table games. They honoured the w/d but reminded me not to play all table games even after meeting the WRs next time. There were no hassles. Actually, if they could scale down the betting limits once a bonus is taken surely they could have disabled the disallowed games. 3 Dice can do this, I understand.

It is odd as I have or have had an account with each and everyone of them and I still get bonuses. I find it really odd that some people get banned and some don't.

That's my opinion too. When I did play P8, SS, Pantasia I didn't accept all bonuses. 50/50 I'd play without them. Besides I like to withdrawal when I can not when I'm told I can.

I've never been bonus banned at a Rival.

Still though IMHO being bonus banned is crap.
From what I can tell we're not talking about players that don't risk their own money when in receipt of a bonus or otherwise.

Yet here we are again, like so many times before when the root of the evil is again being blamed on bonuses. Whilst players (the casinos bread and butter) are being scrutinised for accepting bonuses on offer from the casino(s). Giving with 1 hand and taking with the other.

Are the multitude of bonuses on offer at most Rival casinos just boobie traps? In place to sneer un-suspecting players!

Last time I checked, loyalty is commonly embarrassed & rewarded, not chastised

Would you believe it? This is the 3rd time I am seeking a refund from various Rivals. You are correct that I need to confirm the hand but sometimes I am doing something else at the same time and actually confirm without realsing this. The fact is, although it was confirmed, the house way was set incorrectly so that doesnt relieve them of the responsibility to set the House Way correctly which I had mentioned to Rob Rival and the other Rival casinos many times before.
I sympathize with you - but if you have to further confirm the setting of the hand, then it isn't really a fault, although I agree with you that the existence of a "house way" button should mean reasonable settings.

But the next question to ask - what if the house got those cards instead of you? Would it have really set its own hand in that manner?

If not - that is a big problem. But if so - then technically the house way button is performing as it should, even if it is not like any of us expect.

And of course, I do suggest that when you gamble, you give your full attention to your gambling activities - otherwise you will lose more - just like a player in a real casino who gets distracted by pretty women (handsome men), or by the waitress bringing him/her another beer... had you been paying attention, you would have canceled the house way setting, reset the cards the way you thought they should be set, and then after completing the hand, either stop using the house way, or stop playing the game.

I honestly think that they havent made any alterations in the hope that a novice would have used the house way and they would have benefitted from it. Otherwise, why the delay.

You know, I agree with you on the "delay" bit. But I don't think they will be getting many novices playing pai gow poker to begin with - more likely they're in the midst of other stuff and have put this issue in a queue. After all, Rival is not as big as say MGS, PT, Crypto or RTG, and thus has less programmers available.

Spear,

I would agree that if it was a toss up between 2 different ways to play the hand, then I am taking advantage of the situation. However, in this instance, there is no way that the cards can be set this way. True, I wasnt paying attention but that does not relieve them of the obligation to set the cards the true House Way. It either is set correctly or it isnt. Well, obviously it wasnt set correctly. I have no problems with MG as the cards are always set according to the House Way and for RTG, other than the fact that Inet has still not furnished me with the House Rules (over 6 months) and I am suspicious of the way the House sets its own cards, the cards ie pairs are set in descending order.

I had notified RobRival of this deficiency for nearly a year at least and despite promises by many Rival reps nothing has been done. Frankly, I couldnt possibly have allowed this to happen on purpose. In fact, the House Way should be used as a way to protect players who happen to be tired and sometimes get confused as to how best to set a hand. You could have AJ and 3Qs but since they are not displayed in either ascending or descending order, you could play AQ as the low hand and QQ as the High Hand if you are bleary-eyed.. The house way is supposed to avoid such mishappenings.

I'm sure there are lots of things a casino can do with their back-end management suite. I would think that the 3Dice scenario is an exception to wide spread practices.

These days you practically require a solicitor to scrutinise casino T&C's not to mention veto bonus terms. Having ambiguous bonuses is just another house advantage. Albeit in your case chuchu you were allowed to w/d - others however may not have been granted this grace.

Cheers

Hi Trezz,

The fact that the 3 major softwares available to me (at least) do not disable disallowed games seems to be a sneaky method for various casinos to confiscate winnings. They are insistent that players stick to the Ts and Cs yet do not try to faciliate and that speaks volumes for itself. This is also how the good and bad can be separated. The good ones will look at your play and decide whether you are a bonus abuser. On this, I like Cherry Red's Ts&Cs. It says that if you play disallowed games before you finish your wagering, the winnings from playing these games are discounted so there is no incentive on anyone's part to play these games. Bear in mind, they dont confiscate your winnings from the allowed games unlike the rogues.

Meanwhile, my w/d from Slotocash, I believe, stems from how this casino handles things. They knew it was a misunderstanding and they did the right thing. I think that all those players who encountered the same there were treated as well by Sloto. I am not an exception. That's why you seldom see any complaints about this casino.

If you want to be entertained for a while... don't play either Scary Bitch game!
Both are high variance & will rip though your bank balance like a bat from a belfry! :eek2:

Try Baby Boomer's instead - less chance of a mega win but you usually hit loads of features and with a good run of these you can make a nice little profit from it!
i took your advice k/k and played baby boomers over at paradise 8 on a freebie and had a blast, hit features left and right, got up a bit and forgot your other advice "stay away from both scary bitch games".

it was fun while it lasted and i will prolly deposit there later on. i had a question though about rival casinos as some of the posts have touched on this somewhat. i have several rival casino accounts, i deposit at mainly one or two , is there a limit on how many different rival casino accounts you can have ?...............laurie

No, you can have them all Laurie. I am a member of all of them and I have also used all the freebies and sign up bonuses at all of them as well.

My story

was deposited $75, so had $300, slow climbed to $600, then decided to play $2, got 4 x bonus rounds $25, $13.60, $10.10, $11.10, this was on scary 2, and out the back door, though did manage to score 1900 bonus points, a cool $1.90 :) make that $1 thats all you can redeem of course

Good luck to all, Ill stick with my favourite rival

It's ok I can wait

I like that song too. Pity Leslie Cheung has gone.

Sadly, I didn't learn that until just before I made my post. Leslie Cheung really had a great gift and undoubtedly is sorely missed.

A Better Tommorrow remains my favorite HK film of all time. Of course, it didn't hurt that I did the English subtitles :)

I'm thinking the high street, gaffa tape, simmo and I'll leave the rest to your imagination peeps :D

Actually, I bribed him with Pizza Hut... but by the time dinner was over, the ban had expired anyhow.... waste of a good pizza!

We then drew forks over a hot cookie dough dessert...

Now I know at least they pay ya.

Go Rivals:thumbsup:
Sad for all my Canadian Friends
If you havent already heard the news, Rival has decided to no longer provide gambling services to Canadian Players, including players who are already signed up to the Casino.
This really sucks
