Well, this is exciting.

We have received notification from our software provider, Rival that as from 7th August we will no longer be able to accept New US player registrations. Please note your existing US players will still be able to deposit and you will continue to earn commission on player generated revenues.

In light of this decision we are changing our software provider to the TopGame so we can continue to promote our product to the US. The process will involve migrating existing players and affiliates for our 3 brands; xxx.box24casino.com, xxx.spartanslots.com and xxx.blackdiamondcasino.net with an expected completion date of the 15th August 2011.

Cue the cries of extreme joy. :p
I wonder if this means Sloto and Desert Nights will have to do something similar?

Box24, Black Diamond, Spartan Slots switching to Top Game
Black Diamond was originally a Top Game casino to start with, so this is a VERY interesting move.
I can't think of any other casino which switched software and then switched back again later...

I think not... but you never know :eek2:
I guess it depends on what percentage of their player base is from the USA.

Regardless of whether people like Rival casinos or not, it is still very bad news for American players to lose yet another software option. Only a small handful left now and half of of the casinos still in the US are either dodgy or rogue...

At least we all know why the US is losing software unlike us Canadians here, just seems to disappear for reasons listed as "other".......Rival, WW, English Harbour (now gone)

Sloto'Cash/DNC Not Switching

Just got this from Sloto:

It is with great regret that we have to inform you that as from 7th August 2011 our software provider, Rival Powered, will no longer allow new registrations from the United States.

Looks like it's just the Box24 group that's opting to switch right now. As KasinoKing suggested, it appears that Sloto will be able to carry on without additional US membership.

The mail I got also said this:
Following up on our previous email we are making some exciting changes in the next month, including our new live support that will be up and running plus we will have exciting news coming out soon.
I can't help wondering if they are planning to add a USA friendly casino on a different software... ?
We know that Rival can't / won't block this because Win Palace already have casinos on 3 different softwares.
Guess we'll just have to wait & see...

win palace 3 softwares?

KK,

Can you tell us which three softwares/casinos winpalace operates? I know mayflower is related and is topgame, but I wasn't aware of a third software (other than RTG and topgame).

Thanks

If, Black Diamond and others are changing back to Top Game, can we expect it to be under the same managment? Black Diamond was a good casino when it was Top Game and I would definately play there again, stopped when it went Rival, but am concerned if it will be turned over to some other managment that may not be credible?

Also would the casino change automatically or would a new download have to be made? I have found I am unable to download any Top Game casinos to my computer?

I don't know the answer to the management question, but yes, you'd need to download the new Top Game-powered software.

Dont understand why some operators want to use topgame. Most of the casinos on topgame are rogue, and at best you get really long withdrawal times, and the software is not good at all.
I hope box24 group will be better, but their payout time on rival has gone downhill too. It used to be about a day, now sometimes close to a week.

I play Top Game at both Winward and Diamond VIP-- no significant problems in getting paid. Diamond VIP is faster than Winward, but still view both as very acceptable. Allows for a change of diet from the mostly RTG options for us USA players.

I cannot speak to any other TG casinos.

FWIW,

Diane

Thanks for the response ----- but I was an active participant in the first thread you show.

Nothing new has been provided that changes my mind from the first link you reference. I remain a satisfied customer of both. I am sorry others have had bad experiences.

Is anybody else having problems logging into box24 since they changed? I received the new password but just get an error message when trying to log in. Add to this, their support email and all other email addresses bounce back immediatly, their live chat is offline and they have no telephone numbers currently. Its not making me feel comfortable about this casino at the moment :what:

The switch over to the new software happened literally just yesterday and there are bound to be many "teething problems".
In an ideal world everything would be perfect from day 1, but life ain't like that!
I would recommend that existing members steer clear for a few days until they have a chance to get these annoying bugs ironed out...

KK

yup,

Had log in failures too, so I sent an e-mail.

In the mean time can we discuss which slot of theirs has the best potential to hit big?

Or has a link to there games for reviewing.
Thanks

Just in case it is not known, for the time being Golden Cherry is still allowing US.

Since Winward is mentioned in the thread, I might add that I've been playing Winward in fun mode (only) now and then. Not a huge selection of games like MG but a couple are ok. The lobby is decent and the games run smooth.

Can't even get in with the 4 new passwords they gave me to try to log in :what:
So...not sure what is going on with this change. Seems it wouldn't be that difficult, but what do I know!

I got an e-mail today from Box24 with my "new" password in it - don't like that doesn't feel very "secure" to me.....

Did anyone else get this?

I got my new password today too and i was also thinking just how secure it did NOT seem
I mean, to have your nickname AND your password all on the same email just seems stinky to me as it's all ready for the taking for someone to exploit.

Exactly! Any chance they had of me giving them a crack has gone as don't trust that at all.......

Hi All

With regards to the email sent to our members, there is no financial information stored in our system so by sending
the Nickname and Password in the same email it does not put you at risk.

Also you can request a new password before you login to the casino which will be sent to the email address registered on file.

The security risk would be the same if 2 emails were sent to your account, once containing nickname and the other containing password
if your email account was hacked they would easily be able to locate this information.

Kind Regards
