Respected UK bookie companies pool their resources

The Bowmans and Bet365 betting groups are finding strength in unity after withdrawing from the US online gambling market in the wake of the UIGEA, it seems.

Bowmans was particularly hard hit and has recently announced that it is to scale down its Mauritian operations whilst reports circulating in Gibraltar claim that the company is to close its offices there soon.

This week the company, which has been well established since 1984 told players about the partnership with Bet365 and reported that it has re-launched as a new sportsbook, poker room, casino and games room. Players will retain their existing passwords, 4 digit security codes and user names for convenience and were offered incentive bonuses to support the new site.

Poker came in for a special mention, with Bowmans telling players that new software with higher player liquidity and bonusing would enhance their play. Pokerheads were offered up to a $500 bonus, together with fresh new tournaments worth over $3.5 million a month

Casino players can reap matchplay bonuses maxed at Euro 100 as an incentive to try out the 80 download games and 65 Flash offerings on the new platform.

Partnering with Bet365 Group Limited is a sharp move by Bowmans. The former is one of the UK's leading betting and gaming groups, has held a UK license since 1974 and now employs over 600 people. It operates a 24/7 customer contact centre and a thriving Internet operation based in Stoke-on-Trent, servicing over 900 000 customers in 140 different countries. The website is available in a wide range of languages with a comprehensive customer service for each.
