On December 15, I made my first withdrawal ever at the brand new Bovada (formerly Bodog). I was told by their support team from the beginning that due to the holidays, it would take 15 business days to process the withdrawal request as "Check by Courier."

The payment was delayed by actually only 3-4 days beyond that but their processor did not provide them with a tracking number even though the payment was placed in transit on Friday, Jan 6.
Yesterday, one of their managers attempted to reach me by telephone and I missed the call. He was calling to give me the tracking number and apologize for the delay. I called their support team last night when I saw an email from their service team that they were unable to reach me.
Today the manager called me at precisely Noon, the time I said would be good to reach me. He provided the tracking number and apologized for the delay.
So, I want to set the record straight and compliment Bovada for what they did right:
- Attempted to set realistic expectations from the outset
- Responded to each email inquiry in a timely manner to reassure me payment was forthcoming
- When the delay occurred involved their management team
- Telephoned me personally to provide me with a tracking number and an explanation
I feel it is crucial to recognize and acknowledge good service--especially when a casino's reputation has been questioned in a public forum.
Also, I PMd Bovada Service regarding the payout and while this individual is not officially designated as an I-Gaming Rep on CM, he or she did reply to my PM and informed me about the attempt to reach me by telephone yesterday so I compliment him as well.
Bovada Service told me their normal processing time is not 15 business days and this was due to the holidays. Hopefully we will see this bear out in the coming months.
