Slow Pay Bovada Casino Payout Delayed Twice Now.

I requested a relatively small payout ($400) from Bovada in mid to late April. I was originally quoted 15 business days. On the 15th day I called the customer service number to see if they had a tracking number as I hadn't heard anything from them since I cashed out. The girl tells me then that the payouts are running 20 business days now and have been for about a week and mine would be caught up in that.

Obviously I wasn't too keen on hearing this for the first time only then. You'd think they'd send people an email or something rather than just leaving them hanging. So I wrote the Rep on these forums asking to speak to someone a little higher up and got a call the next day from a "Player Advocate" which could tell me bugger all beyond what the CS rep was telling me. At this point I was a little annoyed but shit happens so no biggie.

Today (aka the 20th business day) I log into my Bovada account and notice that payouts are now scheduled for 25 business days. Again, no email, no call, nothing. I was again left to find out on my own even though this "Player Advocate" promised to keep me updated.

Since I had her extension I called to check to see if this was just for new payouts or if mine would again be delayed. Much as I expected, it would again be delayed. On top of that she couldn't even tell me if the 25 business day estimate would be met or if I'd exceed even that. In fact the only two things she did tell me were "That I would be payed" and "They are working hard to resolve the issue". She literally just kept repeating those things over and over. Regardless of my statement or question the only responses I got were the two up above. It was infuriating. I could have had a more varied conversation with a bloody See and Say and it would have been just as informative. "So when should I expect my money little toy?" "The cow goes mooooo"

That brings us to the present where it's looking like it will be a month and a half or more before I see my payout through Bovada. This is unacceptable. I'm beginning to wonder what the next delay will bring. Maybe a full on 40 business days? Hell maybe they will just decide that paying people is far too much of a hassle and tell me to sit and spin. At this point who knows.

As it stands I think it's fairly obvious Bovada is currently incapable of paying their debts in a timely manner and as such should be avoided by people who expect things like being paid in a reasonable amount of time.

well dont feel bad. Your not the only. My first draw approved on april 9th for 2500. Same emails as you got. I was used to bodog with no issues. Kept on betting took second draw april 22 for $3000 kept betting and started to hit the deadlines of payout dates so started emailing them getting the same crap and they sounded so confident so i kept betting on may 5th took another 2600 and kept betting till about a week ago i kinda got into a heated argument with them and took a final draw of 2700 and refuse to bet anymore. At 1 point they deposited 500 into my account for the issues. I am curious as to see if we get paid. they owe me 11k and just get the same response every time. I usually email them once a week for the hell of it. and they have no answers its always something. Now they told me its a delay from memorial day. what the hell does that have to do with a 40 day delay. it started as march madness then to the kentucky derby and now the holiday. I am kinda feeling like we got scammed. They have 0 problems taking our money thats for sure. But i guess we can just sit and laugh. They wanted to make sure i did not get a negative thought on there company. LOL ok Bodog was never like this. They just keep saying they should have the tracking number in the next day or 2

after my post yesterday the company must have read my blog and contacted me. They put a guy specifically on my account to keep me informed on to what is going on. He was the most helpful so far. He said he will be in contact with me early next week as he should have answers for me on my account. So hopefully this gets some answers. I will keep you guys informed on the progress we have. I have no problems waiting for awhile if they show some answers to. Just the people you talk to on the phone are helpless. I talked to a supervisor and then they dedicated a person from the advocacy team department to me to totally run my account. So i can just hope for some good news and they at least send a couple of my checks for now. out almost 40 business days.

Not to rain on your parade but I've found the "player advocates" are largely just phone reps with a title. The two I've spoken to were just this side of useless. The last one I talked to told me to go sit and spin in so many words. The first one just kept repeating that she couldn't say when I'd be be paid but she assured me my money would show up. It was seriously like dealing with one of those See n Say toys. Hopefully you have better luck.

Great LOL did you get paid yet or did this just happen? I was not honestly expecting too much but at least it was someone i could understand and talk to so thats a bonus in itself. When did you try for your draw?

i too having same issue and im fed up too about this- i thought bovada was a good place to play and not having to worry about withdrawals - i cashed out late april as well and now going on 34 days (business days) with 2 withdrawls totaling 2400 - i have emailed them several times with always the same BS in return, i also got a special rep call me , however it was just to make me feel better but nothing has been done - also i have contacted rep here at casinomeister and got a reply right away but when i gave info and asking him let me know whats going on , havent heard from him in 2 weeks. all i get is round around same crap .
this reminds me sooo much of what happened few years ago with cherry red withdrawal issue , which i was a part of and it was not fun when waiting for over 3 months before i seen a cent, the aggravation was to much.
please keep posting if any results have come in for you guys
thanks

Have any of you sent a private message to the Bovada Rep that is here at the forum to get their response to your situation?

Sadly I have, twice. The rep on here seems to do a good job of forwarding our issues along but that's about as far as it goes. Even when I talk to a "player advocate" they can't or won't tell us what's going on. It would be one thing if I saw anyone popping in saying they've been paid but over a few different sites I've yet to see anyone saying they've been paid. I have a feeling this is more than a simple back log by their third party processors. There is something we aren't being told and I would wager this will continue on for some time.

Well it is good to know that the Bovada Rep is passing your issues along, but seems to me it would be good for that person to come on here and make a public statement of some sort regarding all of this!

Just want to add that I hope you all get paid soon! Good/factual information is definitely key:)

Bovada Changed Payout time from 20 Days to 25 Days after I requested a Payout

I requested a payout of $1000 from Bovada on 5/9/12. On the date and time of my request, the time table for a payout was listed as 20 days from the date that the request is "processed for payout". The day after I requested the payout, they had changed it to 25 days!! On the 20th day I called Bovada customer service and was told that the payout was not processed until 5/11/12 and that it would be processed "within the stated time frame". It's now the 5/31/12 and I still have not received an email or call regarding my payout being processed and sent.
I have played at Bodog casino for years and I never had a problem when it was Bodog. Any request for payouts was handled really fast! I could count on getting my check within 1 week, and usually within 3 days I had my check in my hands. Since it has become Bovada, I have had only 2 payout requests (including this latest one) and had a problem with that one too. The 1st one was only for $400. I waited for over a week for my check to come. It didn't. I get a call from a rep from "the payouts department" telling me about a new program for payouts that they are offering for me to try, free of charge. I can get my $$ faster, "within 2-3 days vs 10-14 days", if I sign up for a Wire Transfer. Usually it's only for payouts over $2500, but they were waiving the minimum amount for this program. All I had to do was send them my credit card info (copy) and my bank wire info. So I talked with this rep several times over a couple of days because I was a little leery. So I finally agreed and sent the info. Long story short; the rep was off when I called to check the status and no one else knew about the "program". So I was pissed and had to wait until Monday. I called on Monday and the rep apologized and said that I could get my payout with 5-10 days via wire transfer. What happened to 2-3 days as I was told? It took 4 days more before I received my money.

So now I'm being put off again and this time I cannot get anyone to tell me when to expect my $1000.00. I won't be depositing any more funds with them when it now takes over a month to get any payouts.

Hi jazzymc-

Looks like this is your first post-so Welcome to Casinomeister. Too bad it has to be under these conditions as far as your payout. But you won't find a better place to get help/answers!

I just called Bovada again to check the status of my payout. I wasn't expecting much and that's a good thing. I was told "they are very sorry but the casino had to make some tough decisions and had to increase the time frame for payouts from "within" 20 days to "approximately 25 "business days" due to circumstances beyond their control. They have had an unusually high number of payout requests recently."

So it went from "within 20 days" to "approximately 25 BUSINESS days" which makes the payout date a month and a half (5-6 weeks) from the date of request, if then.

We'll see, but again, I will not be making any more deposits with Bovada.

This is getting ridiculous. Unusually high number of withdrawals? I think it's their staff that is high. Long-time loyal Bodog players must be starting to drop off their deposits in light of how long withdrawals are taking. Any new player doing the simplest of research is going to see lots of slow pay complaints, so incoming funds will begin to diminish.

It was not very hard to find a $25 No Deposit bonus for them. If this is the reason for the large number of cashout requests, maybe time to pull it or change its terms.

If you consistently have that number of withdrawals, then you either need better streamlining of your procedures or more staff.

Maybe they have NO staff working on payouts. Or no processor to work with them.

I don't see anyone claiming they got paid recently.

I wish everyone well that is awaiting funds. I truly hope affiliates start pulling them from their recommendations.

Maybe time to start complaining to their regulator? Kahnawake seems to take player issues seriously.

The lack of ANYONE coming in and saying Bovada has paid them recently is what makes this whole thing far more disturbing. I think going to Kahnawake is the route to go. I will be writing them after posting this and urge everyone else to do so as well. The email is complaints@gamingcommission.ca At the very least maybe this will get us an honest answer about what's really going on there because I honestly doubt it's a simple matter of being backlogged.

What a lovely copy and pasted response!

First off, no need to thank me for something I lost with Bovada already, continued patience. Secondly, people have been assured "They'll be paid" for going on two months plus now. Those are pretty hollow words given the situation and I'm personally sick of hearing them. It sounds like you people are saying that over and over to convince yourselves more so than to convince us.

Ultimately though you just don't get it. This is unacceptable behavior. This is not how a reputable business works. You guys have dropped the ball and are screwing over your players. I know I, and probably many others, are tired of the excuses and the apologies and just want what is owed to us. We're not asking you people for a handout, We're asking you to pay us what you owe us and told us you'd have to us by now.

Tell you what, let's start with baby steps and you start letting people know when they can expect their money and commit to a date. That sounds fair. How about your company stops giving people the run around and starts telling us what in the hell is actually going on.

Again, I want to urge people to write to Kahnawake at complaints@gamingcommission.ca and let the people giving Bovada their stamp of approval know exactly how this place is treating it's players. That is by giving us excuses in place of the money they owe us and no answers as to when we can expect to be paid. I'd also personally like to see Bovada removed from the accredited casinos list on this site until such a time that they can actually pay people in a reasonable time frame. I don't think it's right for this site to send people there knowing that it may take multiple months before they see a cent of any potential winnings. If anyone is able to get that process started or tell me how I can I'd appreciate it.

im not worried about being paid i know i will - its the fact we get the run around - waiting for over 50 days i think theres a huge problem in the system , something should have been done by now- telling people 25 days is not enough.
we get same answers when we call , when are we getting some real answers?

Bovada appreciates our patience!

"You can contact the 24/7 Customer Service Team", but you will only hear them repeat themselves by saying that they are experiencing delays due to circumstances beyond their control and have had an unusually high number of payouts and as soon as your payout is processed and they have a tracking number, you will be notified... blah, blah, blah.
I feel better now, don't you?
I've been playing there (Bovada/Bodog) for years, almost exclusively. But I won't be playing there again. I'll save my $$ for the Real Casinos!! That way, when/if I win, I get my $$ with NO Wait at all.

I took your advice Xanthious, and I emailed Kahnawake gaming commission. I agree with you that Casinomeister should take some sort of measures to warn people about the situation and not send more potential customers there to add to the growing list of non-paid winners.

So I took this advice and contacted email support with a polite email asking about the status of may payout as it was many days late. This is the response I got.

We are sorry to heat that you have not yet received your payout. Thank you for contacting us and we are happy to assist.

Please accept our apologies for the delay; however, we have not yet received the tracking number for your payout. The 15 business day time frame is only an estimate which means you can receive your funds before or after this time. Additionally, due to limited providers and past holidays, we are experiencing a delay of some additional days.

We would like to assure you that you will receive your funds. Here at Bovada, we are known for our quick payouts; however, at times, there are obstacles we stumble upon that may cause delays in these areas. Once we have received a tracking number for your payout, you will be notified via your Bovada account messages. Your patience and understanding as we work on having this backlog reduced is greatly appreciated.

All of our customers are important to us and we would never jeopardize the rapport built over the years. We value you as a loyal customer and we thank you for making us your preferred Sportsbook.

Our Customer Service Team is available at service@bovada.lv 24/7 to help if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Bovada Customer Service

Don't forget to add www.bovada.lv to your bookmarks and refer your friends for extra cash today!

First off, the part about referring my friends to this place is particularly rich. Now anyone that has been dealing with Bovada support knows this is far from a surprise but I wanted to prove a point. The point being it doesn't matter who you talk to at Bovada you just get the same worn out excuses we've heard many times over. It would just be super if someone from there could start dealing with us openly and honestly and start giving us answers instead of excuses or, even better than that, our money.

Update:
So I emailed them again asking email service if they had an estimated date, after all they did say if there was anything else I needed (again, already knowing the answer) and I was told largely the same things but they also said that this delay was caused in part by "the previous month's large number of banking holidays". Yes all ONE of them. Keep passing that buck Bovada! It would be hilarious if it wasn't so obvious they are just grasping at straws for excuses anymore. Maybe they can start blaming aliens next, or possibly global warming.

@Xanthious: I have a PAB from you dated May 30th regarding your Bovada case yet you persist in posting here on the forum. Have you not read the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ as you said you had in your PAB submission? I should think that item 3.10 of the FAQ makes it pretty clear that forum posts while your PAB is in progress are seriously frowned on. To be blunt you have a choice: PAB or forum posts, not both, at least not simultaneously.

Please email me ASAP with an explanation of your actions and how you wish to proceed.
