Can we get the thread unlocked. Most popular thread on here I've no clue why its closed. Seems weird to stop everyone discussing the slot cause some posts are not right.

Just remove the posts?

@dunover can you unlock it
why would dunover unlock it when when the big guy himself locked it?

Some posts... There was a ton of posts that are not on topic. If you have to look through a few pages of posts that are off topic to find on topic ones, that is a problem. A few off topic posts are fine, but the last few pages before it got locked was hell IMO.

Nope. The head honcho didn't like the petty reporting of each other some posters did the other night and the amount of off-topic stuff. So he comes in on Monday AM to find a heap of 'snowflake' reports he had to put in the bin. Which kinda pissed him off a bit. As D says, it's come from the top so you'll have to accept it. Sorry.

Hell is abit OTT but what harm is people going off topic odd time it's a forum to chat with people.

Also dunover was chatting too he is mod so if was so off topic why didn't he say anything.

Either way closing the thread doesn't help when it's most talked slot on the forum

So if people are fake reporting they should be banned or warned. Again it's people reporting trivial stuff and if not posters getting banned omits threads closed. Why cant they just be told to stop wasting the admins time by reporting for no reason.

That happens when Bonanza goes through a quiet patch and non of us are hitting. If you go back through the posts it’s gone way off before. All that will happen is this will take over where that left off. An early yellow card would have done instead of the straight red.

Don't worry, you can start your own thread and call it nunut's Bonanza & stuff ;):)

It's being observed if people make fake or frivolous reports too often. I did try and bring it back on topic if you remember 'so, has anybody won on Bonanza tonight' but alas it didn't work guys. On it's own a page of derail wouldn't have got the thread closed, but it's the aggro that arose from it that broke the camels' back. You can always politely ask Bryan to reopen it on the understanding it's a big thread and will be kept more or less on topic in future, by us all. But it's a decision that's way above my status.

I must have read either a different response or @Casinomeister didn't clearly relay that.
My takeaway was the issue of the verbage and derailment, not the reports...we're TOLD when in doubt, report, not futher derail
I didn't report anything but I think calling them snowflake reports is rather insulting tbh

May not be a bad idea to start a Bonanza - Part 2 thread. Often if a thread goes mental big it helps to start a new one anyway. For what it’s worth I’m not sure why it couldn’t have been left open after Casinomeister post warning not to de-rail. Pretty sure it’d have got back on track after that.

Yeah, some were petty and some weren't.. But in general context the words were the source of the reports rather than derails - verbiage is the word indeed. To be fair, we had a 'dictionary corner' thread already for this attic-type stuff, you know the profanisaurus one? We all should have taken it over there, in retrospect.

Anyone else noticed how the forum comes to a standstill for lengthy periods now opposed to previously when it was a hive of activity - it's becoming like 'tit for tat' and quite cliquey, not even sure I want to be around now

I'd love too but given how I'm viewed in here that might be classed as baiting. So hopefully orig thread in time can get reopened how else can I post my daily rants on the game

Nope - no problem if you have a NutNut Bonanza thread. I'm pretty sure there's players who have slot threads, I know I used to be a regular in the Rapist thread before I stopped playing the bloody game. Just tell your followers to stick to topic and warn them there may be some 18+ language in it. No, there WILL be some 18+ language in it. May I suggest before you do, if you feel a Shaun Ryder moment coming on, code the expletives. Like 'it's a 3-21-14-20 of a slot tonight'. :D
