New Slot Announcement Book Of Gods - New BTG Slot

BTG in "running out of ideas" shocker.... In all seriousness, they have so far shown a lack of ability outside of the (very good) mega-ways games. And to make another copy of Book of Ra / Magic Mirror Deluxe is (to me) extremely lazy. But who knows... i'm normally wrong ;)

I suppose it could be asked in the AMA, though it's really just a general Q could go anywhere -
What, in your opinion, was the last, truly innovative slot?

Online I think BTG would currently take that award for Bonanza (and the Mega-Ways series in General) - although there are a some games in retail i would say are innovative.
Laser Fruit (Red Tiger) is innovative, and a clever take on the expanding ways idea. Great production on that game too. Maths - not so sure.

I think its actually very smart and adds something new and different to their library of slots. People seems to favor megaways or book slots. By doing this they now tap into both parts of the market which I am sure was their plan anyways.

Someone slap me cause Im actually defending BTG

I only put BTG games up when I have permission to do so. If they're not in final release form and final compliance version it can lead to problems.

I can see big problems looming if BTG try to make feature buy standard on all the future games. At first glance it seems a really good idea
but if it works for them, it may force other developers to introduce it and it could dramatically change the nature of online slots for the worse.
Going way back the standard slot concept was that the players objective was the achieve features through normal play hopefully at minimal cost.
Feature buy is a totally different way of playing, with players bypassing the normal play and being able to bring features up at will which will do 2 things,
devalue the features and the feeling of achievement when the player gets them and giving the games hard gambling profiles.
Personally,if I were still involved in game development I would think very hard about offering feature buy on a game.
There are implications of UKGC scrutiny as well if players start to lose silly amounts on these games.

Ps going walk dog in the rain then check out dunovers video to see what the swear word

Bring her back in one piece as it's her turn to cook tonight.

OK, have permission to reveal.......my 20-minute detail of the game, features and opinions.

Never had a spin on any other than BoD. Even at BoD I only had 3-4 seasons with my money, only play it at battles.
But BoG looks like something I could play a lot. Can't be sure before I try it though.

Do you know the chances to get the free spins naturally?

I said the same previosuly. I give the UKGC a year tops before the feature buy is banned across all slots.

The "buy" feature has already been discussed thoroughly. Here are the results IMHO:

1. The feature can be very helpful at highrolling seasons (bets at the same level as a small "buy" cost). It has saved me a lot of money in White Rabbit back in November.
2. Demanding actions from UKGC is very dangerous (will have unpredictable results that we will probably not like).
3. There are already available bet sizes (on other slots) many times higher than the max cost of the buy in any BTG game.
4. The option to set a max bet limit (same as you set a max loss limit) is all that you need.
5. It is far easyer, a lot faster and way more dangerous to start doing bigger bets.

Last thing I would want is action from UKGC,let them ban reversals then I would take them seriously.
My point is that IMHO rolling out feature buys could be very detrimental to players and casinos
alike.Think BTG are pushing it a bit too hard bringing out 3 games with feature buy in a few months
without seeing what the long term player response might be.
Bear in mind that Extra Chilli is not generally available yet and looks to be much more addictive game
than White Rabbit.I know from free playing that game how fast a bankroll can go chasing a decent feature
buy.

I only see one company push the 'buy' feature aggressively and that's you-know-who. Unfortunately though, every other developer's going to be casting envious glances at their success, and want that in their games too.

Problem is we despise what it's doing to the industry and how it's warping the experience but we all secretly like the option. If Netent were to implement a buy option on a super- updated DOA you can bet your bottom dollar I'd take it :(

Thing with the UKGC is that they tend to act in their best interests while appearing to benefit players. Don't expect them to even acknowledge this as a problem for at least a couple of years, and another year before acting on it. By which time BTG would have had their fill anyway, and hundreds of thousands of players have stepped over the line, financially speaking.

I like the game, but let me tell you unlike Chilli and Rabbit the feature buy is suicidal here!

I played around 20 and most were 10-35x the 1.00 unit stake for 80 buy-ins. Biggest was 185 which you saw. Chopley'll shit his pants when he tries this one out.

Mind you I did get 200+ x bet on the 23rd. buy after reloading the game (I bust out the original 1k fun money after 20 features originally).

The feature IMO is far too volatile to have a purchase facility at all. Aside from that a pretty splendid slot with a good base game.

I only bought feature on White Rabbit at cost of $10 and after a multi k win.
I can't imagine anybody upping their bet size 100 times (or even 50 times) in order to pay for a feature. Nobody will spend all the weekly deposit in one feature.
Maybe try it once or twice, then never egain. Nobody doing 0.09-0.20 bets all the time will see BoG and say "Wow, never again 0.09 bets for me, now only $8 bets or more forever!"

On the other hand, I can easily see many people that are highrolling on $10 bets getting only dead spins and lousy RTP, say "f that, I will just go to BTG and use that $10 to buy a feature".

Seen this on a website.
So it could be released Tuesday.
So looks like Ladbrokes, Coral Etc are getting it first.

For this launch, Big Time Gaming has decided to step out of the box and release Book of Gods exclusively on GVC Holdings casinos instead of LeoVegas. The game is expected to be released on May 22.
